Entering Apocalypse in Easy-Mode-Chapter 511: The Reality
Chapter 511: The Reality
Clyde felt his body being torn apart again. Every one of his nerve shredded. Each bone shattered and rebuilt only to be broken again.
In his mind, the pain had become longer and deeper now. It was no longer a scream or a burst. It was a constant wave that drowned everything else and take him into the void.
He couldn’t tell if he was breathing or if he was still whole. Only that he was still there and still enduring everything.
Through the haze of agony, the Ancient One’s voice returned to talk to him.
"You can stop, if you wish. If this is beyond you, I will understand."
"No. I’m not giving up." Clyde’s answer came without hesitation. His voice raw and cracking from everything he’d been through..
The Ancient One said nothing more. Only the pain remained. Until time blurred and his soul felt thinner than mist. And then, suddenly, the voice returned.
"Something is happening outside, Clyde"
Clyde tried to open his eyes, or at least intending to open it, but they saw nothing. The pain didn’t stop but his mind clawed for the voice.
"What is it?" he asked.
There was a pause. And then the answer came.
"They are attacking you already. The Higher Beings. The Archangels. The Celestials, and The Demon Kings are here. Asqa is holding them off alone."
The words hit him harder than the pain. He didn’t scream anymore. He just felt cold and empty.
His mind filled with the image of Asqa standing against all of them. Fighting them while he was still trapped in this endless torment.
He wanted to move and break free now and move to help her. frёeweɓηovel_coɱ
But he couldn’t. His body was still being remade. Still caught between what he was and what he was becoming.
In that darkness, as the pain carved deeper into his spirit, he felt something worse than fear.
He felt helpless and it terrified him.
---
Asqa was still fighting outside.
From every side they came. The Angels, Demons, soldiers, beasts born of Celestials power and elemental chaos. And she met all of them with her magic, and fury.
Her clones formed a shifting circle around the mansion, weaving through sky and ruin, striking down anything that dared come close. The barrier of bodies she had built was the only thing keeping them out.
But it was getting harder.
Every moment she moved felt heavier than the last. Every spell took more from her.
Her lungs burned with every breath and he limbs ached from the strain of endless combat. Even with the power she now held after her evolution, this was too much.
She was fighting the full weight of the higher realms. An entire pantheon of wrath and judgment that wanted them dead. No matter how many she brought down, more kept coming.
She knew she couldn’t win alone like this. But she couldn’t stop.
Her eyes burned as she forced herself to stand against another wave.
"HYAAAA!!!"
She screamed as she cast another volley of lightning. She bled as her shoulder caught a spear attack from one of the Celestials but still she fought on.
Because Clyde wasn’t finished yet so until he rose from whatever transformation he was enduring, she would not fall.
But that was just her will. Her burning resolve. The reality was crueler. It was too much.
Even as she kept moving and struck and cast and killed, her body screamed louder than the enemies around her.
Her legs dragged. Her breath was broken. Her vision flickered.
And then through the walls of magical fire and poison and light something cut through.
A single blinding and radiant figure emerged. Silver and gold wrapped in holy light. Archangel Michael was attacking by himself.
He didn’t wait anymore. He was done watching and sending his army to bleed. He launched himself forward and hurled his golden spear at her heart.
Asqa’s instincts screamed. Her magic flared.
She movr and shouted, "You son of a bitch!"
She fired a poisonous arrow wrapped in green flame. It clashed mid-air with the golden spear.
The collision erupted in a blinding storm of holy light and toxic mist. The shockwave knocked soldiers from the sky. The ground below cracked.
But Michael didn’t stop.
He burst out of the explosion cloud with his wings flared wide, his armor cracked with his power.
His cold and merciless eyes locked on her.
Asqa’s jaw clenched. She had known about him because Clyde had told her before.
Michael had once worked with them as their hidden allies But now he was here. Leading the charge to kill them both.
"You traitor!" she roared, her voice laced with fury and heartbreak.
But Michael didn’t answer and the voice were swallowed by the commotion around them.
He dove at her with burning light in his hand. His magic spiraling.
He couldn’t let her speak again and expose the secrets he buried. He would silence her as quick as possible. So Michael pressed forward without pause.
His wings tore through the air as he chased Asqa across the shattered sky, his golden armor burning.
Asqa raised her hand and fired a volley of blades of wind, a burst of flame, a spiral of green energy meant to poison and disorient him.
But none of it stopped him.
Michael tore through each spell with brute force ignoring the wound he suffer. He closed the distance in a flash then bis presence crashing against her.
Asqa was forced back making her body hurled downward then slamming into one of the cracked landmasses. The floating stone split from the impact.
Michael didn’t stop there.
He dove after her and landed hard with a blast of light. His sword glinted in the air then drove down and pierced through her shoulder.
"AGHH—!" Asqa screamed as pain exploded through her body.
Blood sprayed from the wound, staining the broken ground. But even as her body writhednshe raised her other arm and retaliated with a burst of raw magic. She sent lightning and fire lashing upward in desperation.
Michael stumbled back for a second, but that was not enough.
Asqa tried to rise but her body faltered. Her power was weakening. Her energy had already been burned through protecting the mansion, fighting wave after wave.
And Michael saw that.
He came in again and send one clean slash across her chest.
The slash sent her tumbling. Her body crashed into the ground again with blood spurting around her.
