Chapter 3446: Three Months Later

Alex cultivated for the next 3 months as there was nothing else for him to do.

The bit of energy he had lost upon asking the question to Heaven had been fully recovered by now, and it had even increased by a bit more.

The flow of the unique energy into his body was still in fluctuation. Even more than half a year later, it was as if the beasts of the Land of the Blessed Sun were still finding out about him.

There were a few sudden bursts in between that he couldn’t explain, but aside from that, the rest was par for the course.

Alex worked on the Pillbugs too during this time, but still he saw no progress in them. So, the only thing he could progress in was his Creations.

He had now improved the amount that had been Transcended for the Blank Canvas Pill and Yellow Fog, both of which were firmly above the threshold that he would need to break through to the Immortal Transcendent 3rd realm.

Aside from those two, he still had the Nine Yang Divine Tree and the Heavenly Clouds to focus on, but he had already planned on pushing those for later. Instead, he spent more of his time learning about Sunfire.

The three months passed quite quickly as Whisker returned from all 3 lotuses in no time at all.

Alex walked out of his room and met the mouse in the Hall, along with the Beast God and her beasts that were waiting for them.

Whisker had improved quite a bit thanks to the lotuses, to a point where the improvement was noticeable. His improvement hadn’t been as qualitative as Alex had hoped it would be, but it was quantitative.

After 3 Sacred Jade Lotuses, his spiritual energy had strengthened by about half a cultivation base and had grown nearly a tenth in size. That sort of improvement wasn’t something one could easily gain.

"How was it?" Alex asked.

"Amazing," Whisker answered truthfully. "I’ve never felt my soul be this strong." The little mouse was in awe of his own improvement.

Alex smiled. "I’m glad you got the chance to use it," he said. "It would’ve been a shame if you weren’t allowed to when I failed."

He turned toward the Beast God, who sat close by. "Thank you for allowing Whisker the chance."

"It was your chance. You were free to use it however you wish," the woman said, not giving much thought to his gratitude. She waved him to forget about it, and Alex nodded, no longer bringing it up.

Alex turned toward Whisker and grabbed him with his aura, sending him back into his Soul Space. He turned toward the Beast God again.

"We are done here, aren’t we, senior?" he asked.

"Well, I am," the Beast God said. "I will be leaving in 2 more days."

"But not us?" Alex asked.

The Beast God nodded. "I imagine you will be heading over to the Drunken Spirit continent," she said. "At least, that was what your master told me."

"Ah, right. I do believe that is the plan," Alex said.

"Senior won’t be out for another month, so you can rest here. Or, if you want to, I can have some people show you around this continent too. There aren’t many places to see here, but if you want to, you can."

Alex thanked the Beast God. He wasn’t sure what he wanted to do, but he would think about it shortly. He was a little bored after cultivating non-stop for many months, so he did imagine he would like it if he could go around the continent and see what lay there.

He wondered if Battlesage could also visit these places, but he quickly threw away that idea as there was no way to bring Battlesage along with him on his journey. His mere presence would bring up questions Alex wasn’t willing to answer right away.

After taking a day to prepare himself and watch over Whisker, who was just done with his cultivation session, he left the courtyard to go on the tour around the continent as he was told to.

Another one of the Beast God’s bonded animals, a blond-haired man by the name of Amberscale, whose beast form Alex was unaware of, became the guide to help him visit the various locations around the continent.

Most of the Jade Lotus Continent was cut off from such visits, so there were only a few places Alex could actually go to. That worked well for him since there weren’t many places he could go to in just the single month of free time he had.

With his Master leaving her cultivation session very soon, he would have to be back in time.

"There are plenty of incredible places around the continent, but 3 of them are what I consider to be places you must absolutely visit," the man said.

Alex raised an eyebrow. "Okay. Where should we go first?"

The majority of the continent was made up of lakes and rivers, all of which connected to each other as they were what helped the lotuses grow. As such, the places that didn’t have them were where he was allowed to visit. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

The first place was a massive plain up north with a strange natural arrangement of earth spires that made a serene sound when the wind blew through them. It was said that anyone who meditated with the wind blowing would quickly be sent into a deep trance. That made this an incredible location to learn Dao and whatnot.

The second place was a more or less abandoned palace that apparently belonged to Sacredlotus, the Celestial who had formed this island. After her passing so many years ago, this place had become a tomb that had already been raided. Now, it was just a place to visit and see how the plant celestial once lived her life.

Alex spent some time in both of the locations before moving on to the third one.
