Evolution begins with an ant colony-Chapter 309: Black Dragon Bloodline
As the full moon hung overhead, its silvery glow bathed the landscape below in an ethereal light. Akun led Kaldarix and Mellin to the vast desert where he had once battled his alternate self. The shifting sands shimmered in the moonlight, lending an otherworldly quality to the scene.
With a soft thud, they landed on the desert floor, Akun releasing his grip on his aspect power. Kaldarix and Mellin gazed around in awe, taking in their surroundings.
"This place looks so different from the capital with all the trees outside," Kaldarix remarked, his eyes wide with wonder.
Mellin nodded in agreement, her expression a mixture of excitement and trepidation. "It’s like we’re in a whole other world."
Akun turned around to gaze at both of them as he said, "This is where we will be training."
Kaldarix’s eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as he stepped forward, his voice laced with excitement. "So, how should we begin, Father?"
Mellin, her expression earnest and attentive, looked to Akun for guidance. "Master, please provide us with your wisdom," she implored, her tone respectful.

Akun’s voice echoed in his thoughts as he called out to the system, "So, system, how exactly do we go about controlling this dragon aura?"
†[The player should first grasp it before trying to teach others.]†
†[The system suggests that the player try feeling and identifying the different energies in their body.]†
†[Dragon aura possesses a rather energetic feel to it, with the way it seems to sizzle around your body.]†
"So, are you saying that’s all I have to do?" Akun asked inwardly.
†[This is just one out of many steps.]†
"Guess that does make sense." Akun then let out a sigh. Facing Kaldarix and Mellin, he continued, "Both of you have to be patient. I have to first fully grasp how to control my aura." He proceeded to walk up to a small cliff in the desert terrain, slowly sitting down.
"Alright, father, we’ll wait," Kaldarix said, his voice booming with excitement. He dipped his hand into the paper bag they used to buy the bread and cake earlier and took a bite of cake this time.
Mellin nodded in agreement, her expression calm and composed as she observed Akun’s focused demeanor. "We trust in your abilities, Master," she added softly, her eyes reflecting unwavering faith.
Akun nodded appreciatively at their support, then turned his attention back to the task at hand. Closing his eyes, he began to concentrate, attempting to sense the subtle energy within him. With each breath, he sought to attune himself to the elusive currents of dragon aura that coursed through his being.
As Akun delved deeper into his meditation, he began to sense the subtle energies swirling within him. With each passing moment, he grew more attuned to the distinct currents of power flowing through his veins.
"I can feel it," Akun murmured to himself, his voice barely above a whisper. "There are currently different distinctive energies swirling in my body." His brow furrowed in concentration as he focused on channeling the energy.
"I’m sure the one that is circulating around my heart and the rest of my body must be my mana, while the one around my forehead, around that four-sided star going down into the rest of my body, must be cosmic energy."
He paused, concentrating even more as he added, "As for the remaining two... The smooth one towards my abdomen must be my divinity, and the one that seems rather erratic must be... My dragon aura."
Akun observed the swirling energies within him, his mind focused on the task at hand. "All that’s left is to stretch it around my body," he mused quietly.
With a deep breath, he began to extend his dragon aura. Kaldarix and Mellin watched intently, their eyes widening as they started to notice black scales slowly materializing around Akun’s body. The scales shimmered faintly in the moonlight, a stark contrast against his skin.
"What’s happening to him?" Kaldarix asked, his voice tinged with awe and concern.
Mellin’s eyes widened with realization. "I think he’s tapping into his dragon aura," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the desert breeze.
The scales continued to spread, encasing his form in a protective sheath. With each passing moment, his aura grew stronger, pulsating with raw power. Sweat streamed down on Akun’s brow as he exerted himself.
.....
Just before Akun could complete the process, the system’s voice suddenly echoed, †[Ding!! The system had detected a sudden surge of power in the player’s core.]†
†[Ding!! It has been detected the player has complet control of their dragon aura.]†
†[Ding!! The system has detected that the player’s dragonic bloodline is awakening due to the stimulation of their dragonic aura!!]†
The black scales began to appear all over Akun’s skin even more rapidly, and black horns began to slowly protrude from his skull. His purple mana began to slowly crackle around his body, and the air around him seemed to somewhat grow more malevolent.
Kaldarix’s brows furrowed with concern as he observed Akun’s transformation. "Do you think his attempt to control his aura is working, or is something else happening to him?" he wondered aloud, his voice tinged with worry.
Mellin, standing beside him, shook her head slightly. "I’m not sure," she murmured back, her gaze fixed on Akun. "But for some reason, what is happening to him feels somewhat familiar."
"Yeah," Kaldarix agreed, his voice barely above a whisper. "Although it seems like this is my first time seeing this, I feel like I have seen it countless times before." He clasped his hands together, his expression troubled as he continued to watch Akun’s transformation unfold.
†[Ding!! Congrats to the player, thay have successfully awakened hir black dragon bloodline.]†

Akun’s mana continued to crackle around his body, creating sizzling sounds as the speed at which they were moving began to increase. The air around him seemed charged with an otherworldly energy, swirling and pulsating with purple hues. Slowly, Akun then suddenly opened his eyes, and they were both glowing with his purple mana ever so brightly.
He didn’t say anything, his gaze fixed on some unseen horizon as if he was lost in a trance, his mind tethered to another realm.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a massive beacon of mana shot skywards from Akun’s body. It surged with such intensity that it created a shockwave, accompanied by a deafening boom that sent Kaldarix and Mellin flying backward. The ground quaked beneath their feet as they struggled to maintain their balance, their eyes wide with astonishment and awe at the sheer power emanating from Akun’s body.
The display was nothing short of breathtaking, leaving them both spellbound and trembling in its wake.
