As Akun’s body began to undergo a transformation, his form expanded, muscles bulging and stretching beneath his skin. A low rumble emanated from deep within him as he underwent a metamorphosis. His features contorted and elongated, his limbs elongating into powerful appendages. The air crackled with energy as his silhouette morphed into that of a massive black dragon.

Kaldarix and Mellin watched in astonishment as Akun’s shape shifted before their eyes. Their mouths hung agape as they beheld the incredible spectacle unfolding before them. The ground trembled beneath their feet, and a rush of wind swept through the desert terrain, carrying with it the echoes of Akun’s transformation.

"By the gods," Kaldarix gasped, his voice barely audible over the din of the shifting sands.

Mellin’s eyes widened in disbelief, her hands trembling as she pointed towards the towering figure that Akun was becoming. "Is that... Is that master?" she stammered, her voice tinged with awe and trepidation.

Akun’s draconic form continued to take shape, his scales shimmering in the moonlight as he towered over them. His eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, betraying a wisdom and power far beyond mortal comprehension.

The massive beacon of his purple mana was visible to all those who were in the capital and all over the godforsaken forest.

As the towering pillar of mana surged skyward in a dazzling display, Chrono Nexus and the other women at the table Akun had left behind exchanged knowing glances. Their eyes widened with recognition as they realized the source of the immense energy.

"That must be master," Chrono Nexus murmured, her voice tinged with awe.

Genreia nodded in agreement, her gaze fixed on the mesmerizing sight. "It has to be. I’ve never seen mana like that before. He must be going through his bloodline awakening," she speculated.

Tatilia’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she leaned forward, her attention fully captured by the display. "Look at the sheer power emanating from him. It’s breathtaking."

Hestria, though slightly taken aback by the display, couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride. "Our liege is truly extraordinary," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Genreia then narrowed her gaze as she mused, "As I thought, he wasn’t alive thousands of years ago, else he couldn’t have possibly been having his awakening now. It also explains why his aura was all over the place. But if he isn’t from them, how is he so strong?"

Suddenly, Chrono Nexus placed her hand on her shoulder as she asked, "Curious, are you? If you don’t know, are you going to leave him?" She smiled and added, "That would be fine... After all, there will be less competition." Her cheeks flushed slightly after.

Genreia then removed Chrono Nexus’ arm from her shoulder as her cheeks took on a red hue. "It doesn’t matter what his origin is. It’s normal for everyone to have some secrets," she replied. Calming down slightly, she added, "If that were enough to deter me from my responsibilities, what kind of princess, or perhaps soon to be queen, will I be?" Her words seemed to hold a silent threat.

Chrono Nexus felt a vein throb on her forehead as she said, "Do you want to challenge me, little miss concubine?" She smiled, leaning in close to Genreia. Although she looked polite, one could tell her words were a silent warning.

Genreia then smiled as she leaned in, saying, "Perhaps."

"Tatilia then said, "Master must be evolving, or maybe learning a new skill... Whatever it is, I want to go congratulate him." In that moment, she instantly took to the skies, her wings fluttering behind her as she did. Her expression was one of eagerness, her eyes reflecting her excitement to reach Akun and offer her congratulations.

Seeing Tatilia take to the skies, her wings shimmering in the moonlight as she soared towards the massive pillar of purple mana, Genreia and Chrono Nexus both mused. "Congratulate him? How could I forget such a thing?" They both glanced at each other, both already knowing the other’s intention.

In that instant, Genreia sprouted her wings, the scales glinting with a soft glow, and immediately took to the skies. The gust of wind she created as she did so destroyed the table they had previously sat at, sending splinters flying, and knocked over the nearby pancake stand with a deafening crash.

Now in the air, she glanced at Chrono Nexus and yelled, "I won’t lose to you," her voice echoing with seriousness as she propelled herself towards the massive pillar of purple mana.

Hestria, seeing this happening, was so confused. "What’s going on? Where are you both going?"

Chrono Nexus simply smiled as she said, "You were hoping to win by flying?" She chuckled slightly as she smiled, outstretching her hand before her. A rift materialized, shimmering with otherworldly energy, and she stepped through.

"You too?" Hestria asked, her voice tinged with disbelief, as she saw the rift close up behind Chrono Nexus.

Hestria, unable to fly or open rifts like her companions, could only watch them go with a mix of envy and frustration. "Hey! At least don’t leave me behind!" she yelled after them, her voice tinged with longing. But her words fell on empty air as the others disappeared from sight, leaving her standing alone on the ground.

The evolved ants, Kingin as well as the other tribesmen in the area could only look in confusion as they saw the scene at the table unfold.

Back with Akun as his dragonic transformation completed, the massive purple mana pillar slowly subsided, his black draconic scales glinting softly in the moonlight. His black horns seemed to have glowing purple cracks on them that pulsed with his purple mana, his eyes glowing softly, further enhancing his commanding presence.

With a mighty roar that shook the very foundations of the earth, he spread his wings wide, casting a shadow over the desert landscape.

The transformation complete, Akun, now a colossal black dragon, fixed his gaze upon Kaldarix and Mellin. Though his form had changed, there was still a glimmer of recognition in his eyes, a silent acknowledgment of their presence amidst the grandeur of his newfound form.
