Neil took a step back, where a mantis had its head pierced by an air arrow.

Without this support, he might already be gravely injured or maybe dead.

Neil looked from the corner of his eyes and saw the one legged mantis rushing towards him, the sight was frightening.

’Might as well collect a diamond class corpse.’ Neil tightened his grip as he focused on the reddish mantis, it was already charging towards him.

He suddenly waved his hand, slashing horizontally while he tried activating his skill.

’Please, please work!!’ Neil prayed, after all, skills most times didn’t work here.

But it did activate on the first try.

Instantly, a highly acidic fluid shot out from his hand in the form of arrows, shooting straight towards the Phaged’s eyes.

The mantis blocked his blade but suddenly felt a burning sensation as it let out a heart wrenching scream, slashing madly.

Neil jumped back and stabbed the head of another mantis.

He tried again, and without fail his skill activated as he threw acidic fluid in all directions.

’What the... What’s going on?’ Neil was pleasantly surprised. While slashing, he tried it a few more times.

And without fail, Aquamorph activated as it was supposed to.

’Don’t tell me the presence of a Link is interfering with the thing that is interfering with the failing of the activation?’ Neil thought, but now was not the time to experiment.

Instantly, several slimes shot out from his storage, attacking the Phaged and exploding.

Neil finally released his breath and inhaled deeply, pain was starting to make him slow down.

But a strange feeling began to take control of his mind. He began to chase this heart pumping sensation, the excitement, the bloodshed.

Neil’s movement grew more crazed as bloodlust began to flood his senses.

He pounced towards the blinded diamond class mantis, slashing at it without even caring about the attacks that were landing over his body.

His blades became extremely hot as sparks flew in all directions, the short swords striking its arms.

The strength of the mantis was rather close to his own, so it gave Neil an idea of his current strength.

Though it seemed weaker than the Magma Bima he had killed before.

Just as Neil cut off one of its hands, he felt a piercing pain in his right leg as if a big chunk of flesh had been torn away.

He looked down and saw a Scoria Centipede shooting out of the snow and biting his calf, its teeth sinking deep.

It instantly cleared up his mind.

’This darn thing, why can’t it just stay in its own territory.’ Neil cursed as he forcefully pulled his leg and cut the centipede’s head in half.

Before stomping on its head, crushing it, as its long body wriggled around in a disgusting manner.

He looked ahead and saw that the domain was already disappearing into the fog, moving away from the horde.

Magnar rushed back in his direction after clearing the path.

’That’s good...’ pain and dizziness shot through him as poison entered his body.

Neil coughed, then stabbed the sword into the shoulder of the blind mantis, pushing it down with all his might.

But not going down without a fight, the mantis’s remaining arm cut around Neil’s side, an area momentarily exposed under the armor.

’Ughhh’ Neil grimaced in pain but pushed down harder, the blades cutting deep into the Phaged’s body as it kept screaming.

Neil felt a strong gust of wind near his head as he ducked instinctively, and something smashed against his back.

Both him and the blind mantis were thrown away violently, smashing against other Phaged.

He coughed out blood and unsteadily rose to his feet, blood dripping from his head.

Neil limped and almost fell back, but used a corpse to balance, and finally he saw a mantis more than ten feet high.

It was at the 2nd Origin Silver Class, powerful enough to cut Neil into two instantly.

His heart thumped rapidly as he weakly stood in front of the terrifying figure.

Neil noticed that even his swords weren’t in his hands, he looked to the side and found them buried in the shoulders of the blind mantis’s corpse.

’Fuck...’ there was nothing he could do in such a situation.

Maybe the analyzer would still work, if not, then this really might be the end of him.

The hand blade of the large mantis had torn the bodies of a couple others, it menacingly threw their bodies away and fixed its sight on Neil.

Displaying its high speed, the creature’s body turned blurry as it flashed towards Neil, it was way too fast.

Neil weakly raised his hand to defend as an old axe appeared in his hand, a gust of powerful wind made Neil take a step back and the Phaged was already before him.

But just as the large mantis had raised its arms to cut Neil, a big burning body smashed into it.

The mantis, caught off guard, was thrown to the side as Magnar quickly reduced in size and jumped onto Neil’s shoulder.

A vulture descended right on top of Neil, pausing right above his head.

Without wasting a moment, using his left leg, he jumped up and caught the vulture’s leg.

Instantly, they rose high as several mantis jumped up to attack, even the large mantis moved at full speed but missed just barely.

Neil felt his vision turn blurry as he stared down at the bloody battlefield, many corpses still lay there.

But the other vulture was quickly taking the corpses away, it dived extremely quickly and flew away before they could attack it.

Of course, they didn’t move in the direction of their domain directly since the horde was following them.

First they flew in the opposite direction and rose high enough.

After the fog had hidden their figures, the vulture quickly flew back towards the domain.

After a minute, the domain, which was still moving at full speed, came into view.

The vulture safely brought Neil inside, and then went back to get more corpses.

There was already a heap of corpses in one corner.

The moment Neil landed, he fell onto the stone around the campfire, his vision darkening.

"Lord!!" Ray, Fay, Bob, Rob, and Mob all rushed in his direction, their faces filled with worry.

They all gasped upon seeing Neil’s condition, there were so many wounds, he was even poisoned.

Whether it be the four archers or anyone else, they all felt pain in their hearts, feeling helpless that they could do nothing.

"Master, you quickly need treatment or this poison and all your injuries will be fatal."

Nemo spoke urgently after scanning his body’s condition.

The guardian turned to look at the two builders and spoke: "How is the progress on construction of the healing hut?"

"O- Oh, we would need a bit over an hour to finish it." Rob replied quickly.

"Finish it as fast as you can!!" Nemo said, as the two builders nodded and ran towards the new building under construction.

"Huff Huff, I can... hold on." Neil said.
