Ex rank talent Awakening: 100\% Dodge rate-Chapter 326: BATTLING ENVY CLAN
Cain’s undeads were more brutal in their approach.
It was the simple tactic of devour and conquer.
They isolate a demon from the others and overwhelm it with numbers efficiently.
And the most absurd part of a demon dying to Cain’s undeads?
They rise after death, and join Cain’s banner of undead, making Greg’s words a fact.
Cain was a one man army.
Lilith, the demon of lust was another dangerous being in the war front.
Her ability to manipulate a will of the demons into falling in love and doing her bidding was just as dangerous.
With it Lilith pit demons against each other, leading to mutual destructions.
Aaron acted like a conductor, pairing with Will and Chris to take down demons together.
The demons couldn’t gain the advantage.
The group kept pushing them and killing the demons, causing more to arrive for support.
The group attracted the mass of demons, allowing Greg and Annabelle to continue mainly unopposed towards the castle.
The sibling duos arrived at the castle to find it guarded by royal demons.
"This is as far as you go pests," Zen, the prince of the envy clan informed the duo, standing before the royal guard.
"Take care of the royals, I will deal with him," Greg directed Annabelle, running forwards towards Zen.
Zen, holding a spear ran towards Greg as well, engaging him. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
Both parties clashed, sword intersecting with spear.
Using his spear like an extended limb for longer reach, Zen went for a stab, but his effort was crowned with a miss.
Greg didn’t even bother with it, the outcome already expected by him.
With heaven defier he slashed the chest of Zen, drawing a large amount of Zen’s HP.
Zen moved backward, a frown on his face, for his defeat.
Greg, attacked again.
He opened his mouth, spewing Abyssal flames at Zen.
Zen acted smartly, twisting his spear at fast speed, while coating the spear with demonic energy.
With it, he was able to repel Greg’s attack.
Greg, still on offence mode, added more pressure, swinging his sword upwards.
Zen tried to dodge the attack, but realized he couldn’t like the countless souls before him.
"Tch!" The demon prince clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction.
Acting right at the Nick of time, he blocked the attack barely, sustaining just a little bit of HP.
Zen moved backward, creating distance between him and Greg.
Annabelle on the other side was completely decimating the royal demon guards.
She remained still like a fortress, while releasing spells over and over again like a robot.
Flame spear, lightning arrows, water bullet.
There was no spell she didn’t release.
The demons dodged the attack to the best of the abilities, with some even being brave enough to counter attack.
Those that countered attack regretted their actions afterwards.
Their counter attack caused no damage to Annabelle, passing through her like she wasn’t there.
And Annabelle, not one to let go of an opportunity, bombarded them with spells of her own.
The demons dodged the best they could, with some unable to do so.
That of course didn’t worry Annabelle. In fact it was pleasing to her.
Annabelle, stood still, casting a long spell.
Spells like that were usually the nightmare of lone Mages because of the long casting time.
Before they could finish it, most times they were already defeated by their enemies.
But with Annabelle having 100% dodge rate just like her brother, she didn’t need to worry about that.
She could take her time, and cast the attack when she was done, and Annabelle did just exactly that.
It took an entire minute to complete the spell.
"Heaven’s fury," Annabelle muttered, completing the spell.
The already dark blackened even further, clouds appearing out of no where.
The royal demons stared at Annabelle with fear, feeling shivers from her spell.
Heaven’s fury, was an AOE spell with high damage point.
But the worse part about the spell was that it was a locking spell.
That meant every royal demon guard was locked on by the spell.
The fury finally descended, black lightnings that felt like tribulations itself descended, devouring a huge chunk of HP from there.
The spell caused numbness amongst the demons for some seconds.
And that crowd control?
It gave Annabelle another time to cast another powerful and wide range AOE attack.
Zen, pausing for a moment watched Annabelle release her second AOE attack, flame judgement with mixed feeling.
At that point, he realized the certain demise of his subordinates.
"Your partner is way more dangerous than you," Zen said to Greg.
"I have to kill you first and as quickly as possible so I can support my subordinates," he added.
"Big talk. You should worry about yourself first," Greg informed, kicking his feet from the ground.
He launched into the hell, his arms holding heaven defier stretched towards bis back.
And with a full swing, he descended downwards towards Zen, heaven defier descending first towards Zen.
Zen frowned, raising his hands upwards to block the attack from Greg.
"Change direction and attack from the side," Greg said in dragon tongue.
In a crazy turn of event, Greg used dragons tongue on himself, and rather not on the enemy.
With it, his position changed, as he appeared at the side of Zen.
Zen was cut off guard, and before he could react to the sudden change of movement from Greg, Greg had made his move and attacked Zen.
With heaven defier, he slashed Zen’s abdomen cleanly, cutting the abdomen open.
"Urgh!" Zen grumbled from the sharp pain.
In an instant, Zen retreated quickly as he created space between him and Greg, his hands clutching his abdomen.
Boom!
Zen, caught off guard by an ambush attack by Greg.
Greg had created arrows towards as t the direction he had predicted Zen would retreat to.
Zen, as a result of the explosion flew towards Greg uncontrollably.
Tightening his knuckles, Aaron pivoted his body.
Transferring all the power he could muster into his arm, he threw the punch at Zens face, connecting cleanly to Zen’s face and sending him flying towards the castle.
Boom!
Zen crashed into one of the pillar, completely obliterating the castle pillar into rumbles.
