Exo Seeker: The Strongest Human Woke Up In The Future!-Chapter 34: Fury
Chapter 34 - Fury
Just like Trey, the other Primers had also noticed the plan of the New One's group.
"Do they think just because they have Half-Aegis, they can bully us?!" one of the Primers shouted to his teammate, evident anger in his voice.
"We have to stop them!"

"Can you?"
"Why would I? I'm talking about us! All of us should stop them!"
"Can you handle the wrath of their company?!"
"N-no, but we can't just let them do their thing!"
The Primers wanted to stop the New One, but despite their frustration, none of them made a move. There was an unwritten rule: if long-range attacks didn't work, only then would they be forced into close combat with the Final Boss. Those who contributed the most in killing it would get more 'Loot' than the others. But right now, they were dealing with a group that belonged to a Primer Company—an organization with influence not just in their city but across the entire Vortan Lands.
They were just dreamers in Mechanical Suits, calling themselves Primers, but in front of people with access to Aegis—even a Half-Aegis—they were nothing more than bugs, easily crushed with a single stomp.
If the New One group decided to f*ck with them, who knew if they'd even see the next day? It wasn't just about influence—the sheer strength of these people was enough to make the Primers wary.
Even if these New Ones were still in training, just one of them could take on a whole group of Mechanical-Suited Primers.
It would be a miracle if they could even deal a significant amount of damage to one of them.
As the Primers continued firing at the Behemech, torn between wanting the New One to stop and fearing the consequences, a single figure weaved through the crowd with precise movements.
Kael walked past a Primer just as they threw a Shockwave Grenade at the Final Boss. The explosion sent wild winds and dust flying everywhere.
His clothes flapped as he stopped in his tracks.
Holding his breath, he sidestepped out of the Primers' line of sight. And as if they couldn't see him, they continued firing—completely unaware that there was someone right in front of them who they could accidentally kill.
Kael's gaze landed on the Behemech, then shifted to the New One.
"Hmm, interesting," he muttered, instantly understanding what was happening.
But did it matter to him? Kael's eyes flicked toward the New One's captain, who had appeared right in front of the Ground Fire Hog.
She attempted to strike, but the creature sent her flying toward the ground. A Fire Beam followed, descending straight at her, but before it could hit, she had already reappeared beside her teammate.
"Strong, but not enough to handle a Final Boss on her own," Kael whispered, noting the capabilities of the Half-Aegis they were wearing.
If she could take it down alone, the fight would have already ended. But she wasn't giving her all. Just as the others suspected, she was deliberately agitating the Behemech—forcing it to abandon its reasoning so the New Ones could claim the kill and prove they contributed the most. With that, the other Primers would have no say in the distribution of rewards.
Only gutless fools would let them do as they pleased, Kael thought. He couldn't understand why these Primers still believed in equal distribution when the strong could simply take whatever they wanted. It was a meaningless, unspoken rule—one that anyone with power could break.
However, as he observed the Mechanical-Suited warriors, he noticed something.
Despite their rivalries, they still had boundaries.
That was probably why they followed their unspoken rule.
Commendable—but Kael knew the truth. They were all just greedy. None of them wanted someone else to have the advantage, so the best they could do was stand on equal footing.
"But they are here. It must be really frustrating," Kael smirked, his eyes shifting between the New One's group and the Ground Fire Hog before glancing at the Primers around him.
His eyes glinted cunningly as a thought came to mind.
...
"She's quite patient," Carina said as she landed beside her team sniper and Herm.
"What's her plan, though?" Fermin asked, still peeking through her scope, not daring to lose sight of the Ground Fire Hog.
"It seems like this isn't the first time she's dealt with Primers," Carina explained. "She's waiting for us to stop for a brief second before she unleashes her first Skill."
"First Skill... they call it Beyond Inferno, right?" Herm asked from the side.
"Yes," Carina nodded. "This is our first Ground Fire Hog, so we should be careful. Its first Skill is something even I would have trouble handling. The moment she uses it—Herm, you know what to do. She's going to target us first."
"Don't worry. I'll follow after you," Herm said seriously.
"Good." Carina's eyes remained fixed on the monster in the distance. "One more time. She'll go crazy. It's time to make her move her body!"
"Got it!" Fermin licked her lips. With a pull of the trigger, her Cryo Piercer Round shot out from her sniper rifle, traveling at a speed too fast for the eye to follow.
With a deafening bang, another eruption of ice covered the Ground Fire Hog's head.
At the same time, Carina activated her speed module, dashing toward the Behemech. Appearing right in front of its head, she unleashed dozens of sword slashes!
This time, her attacks finally landed!
The Ground Fire Hog let out a loud, pained roar, followed by a burst of fire that spread around it. The temperature instantly skyrocketed, melting all the ice around its body.
Then, as the Behemech opened its eyes, a new fiery wildness gleamed within.
It bared its teeth, but the attacker had already disappeared.
The Ground Fire Hog let out another roar as flames began to materialize around its body. Right now, it looked less like a dog and more like a raging torch.
Seeing this, all the Primers on the scene instinctively took a step back.
"Sh*t! The dog is angry!"
"Now they've done it! There's no way we can control the situation anymore! The New One's will have to handle this!"
"Greedy bastards! We entered this place at the same time—we should have the same Contribution!"
