Watching as Magnus vanished into thin air, golden dust particles gently shimmering in the spot he was previously on, the youths halted in their own attacks as the surging waves of mana slowly left their bodies.

"He got away…" Beatrice muttered aloud with a disappointed expression on her beautiful face which was laced with beads of sweat even in the cold of the night.

Also sharing her disappointment, the other youths had a similar expression on their faces, an even bigger wave of displeasure washing over all of them.

Slowly, Aiden who was already nearing the ground, gently landed while deactivating his spells.

As this happened, all four youths watched as a few dim lights from afar which were slowly getting brighter and brighter by the second as they moved closer, slowly make their way over to the now very scanty parking lot.

Most of the bidders who had previously been at the auction house had already vacated the site’s premises in their individual vehicles out of fear without even looking back when Flynn had fired the gun.

Finally reaching over to them, the youths, just as they had expected, witnessed as rankers from the Tower swiftly alighted from either their hover cars which gently hovered a few centimeters above the ground while the rest got down from their normal vehicles.

Coming along with them were the blaring sirens of three ambulances whom all promptly began to set up their stations to take in the injured or handle the corpses the moment they parked.

Swiftly either running over to all four youths or quickly rushing past them into the destroyed auction house, it was obvious the Tower felt genuinely guilty about not stationing more rankers at the auction house.

---

"Will they survive?" Caroline asked one of the female Tower members standing beside her, both of them watching as the two rankers who had their necks snapped by Magnus were placed on stretchers and were constantly been tended to by the nurses.

The parking lot was now far more occupied with different things happening here and there.

Lights from the ambulances constantly blinked as the nurses on standby tended to the injured guards and a few other normal people who had found a place to hide in some other part of the auction house instead of completely leaving the auction house itself.

Rankers from the Tower constantly questioned some of the other youths along with their own previously assigned members, albeit in a very gentle manner, understanding fully well that if not for their combined efforts of the two, things may have ended in a far more terrible state.

Reporters and journalists also arrived a few seconds later after the rankers and the ambulances previously had, constantly clicking pictures while also ensuring to get a deep insight into the things that had led to the destruction of the most well-known auction house in all of Flenor Islands.

"Yeah. They will. Hopefully in a month or two, all thanks to the young lady" the adult female who went by the name Hilda, responded after a brief moment of silence with a small nod while gesturing over to Ivelia who was standing on Caroline’s other side.

She was also among the five rankers previously in the auction hall that the youths had fought together with so an unsurprising sort of friendship had formed between all five ladies who were standing side by side as they stared at the things going on around them.

"It was nothing really. I just felt that if I administered the advanced grade potions as soon as I could, there was a slim chance they could survive" Ivelia replied with a tired smile while adding a few more words.

"I’m glad that was the case"

"Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth that not a single Monolith member was captured though" Beatrice soon spoke out in dissatisfaction, both of her arms crossed over her ample chest.

"Yeah. Especially that brown-haired man. He must’ve been high-tier S-rank at least" Amelia also added to the conversation, a thoughtful expression on her face.

While the ladies were discussing, Ivar, Adrian and Lucas leaned on the back of one of the ambulance trucks while having a conversation of their own as they watched Aiden, Flynn and Bryan constantly being questioned.

They had also been questioned previously and had told the rankers of the Tower everything they could so now they were just waiting for their friends to also be done with the formalities.

"I was so glad nothing terrible happened to Flynn" Adrian heaved a sigh of relief once again.

"Yeah…" Lucas quietly replied.

"Look at you! I never thought the day would come when you’d actually be worried about Flynn" Adrian quipped at Lucas with an elbow jab to which the blondie just scoffed and rolled his eyes at.

"I kinda feel sorry for the guards though. They were just doing their jobs and didn’t even realize they had infiltrators among them. And that includes us" Ivar sympathetically said to which the other two youths nodded at.

After the mana-siphoning device and main generator was blown up, with the exception of Ivar who had quickly used the black whips from his nano-band to prevent the attackers from also destroying the back-up generator, a pretty intense fight had ensued.

After taking down the Monolith members who had already done the deed, they too, unable to explain to the guards due to everything quickly going haywire, had to forcefully suppress some of them while making their way back to the room Flynn had been assigned to.

"Well at least we apologized to them for the whole mishap. Hope they don’t hold a grudge against us" Adrian soon spoke again.

"Hopefully…" Ivar replied with a small nod.

Lucas on the other hand, couldn’t help but scrunch up his face slightly at that word, remembering how he actually hadn’t held back even a tiny bit from attacking the guards when they blocked his path.

’Hopefully…’ he soon muttered to himself inwardly after a short while.

Finally answering all their important questions, the remaining three youths, tiredly made their way over to the ladies while the other boys leaning on the ambulance truck also followed suit.

As if in line with this action of theirs, an expensively luxurious and sleek long limo soon glided into the fairly occupied parking lot.

Coming to a halt just in front of the destroyed auction house, Harvey Roas calmly stepped out of his limo in a composed manner while buttoning up his black long coat.

Watching as this happened, a few journalists and reporters swiftly ran over to the exceedingly wealthy business man, intent on hearing his thoughts about the destroyed state of his auction house.

Others didn’t even care about asking him any questions as they just focused on taking a perfect picture of the man with his destroyed auction house in the same frame since they believed that some of those pictures would sell for a lot with news tabloids and magazines.

Politely refusing to even utter a single word, some of the guards from the underground section who were there and were still very much active despite the stressful events of the day, instantly went to protect their boss, serving as a human barricade and a repellant for the insatiable journalists and reporters.

A few minutes later after everything had calmed down though, one of the Tower’s members rushed over, explaining to Harvey how they would like to foot a good portion of the bills for some of the recuperation costs.

After finalizing that conversation with the wealthy business man, the Tower member who had come to discuss with him, talked about a few more details and soon left a few seconds later, resuming his other normal duties.

"So, just how much of my goods did they steal?" Harvey composedly asked, his hands crossed behind his back as he casually began to walk around the destroyed Spina De-La Roas.

"Surprisingly, they majorly only focused on stealing the Eclipsian Prism. Everything else was left intact" the head guard swiftly answered with an informative reply.

"Hmmm…" Harvey voiced out in slight concern as his entourage of guards followed him.

A few minutes later though, just as Harvey paused in his steps to gaze at another collapsed wall, he spotted a group of youths who were numbered in ten, making their way over to him with purposeful steps.

’Ah… The cadets from Arcana Academy’ Harvey thought to himself but before he could actually speak out loud, his head guard who went by the name Bill, was already shouting at the youths in annoyance.

"Stay away from our Boss! Haven’t you done enough you little shits?!" he voiced loudly in anger, clearly evident to everyone around him that he definitely still held a grudge against the youths.

"Stand down Bill. Let’s hear what the kids have to say" Harvey ordered his head guard coolly.

With a slight grumble, akin to a child contemplating on throwing a tantrum, Bill reluctantly yet respectfully stepped back while responding to his boss’s orders.

"Yes Boss"

Now able to come face to face with the youths as Bill stepped aside, Harvey soon spoke again, questioning the youths in a composed manner.

"So, what might you be willing to speak with me about?"

"Well, first off, we’d all like to apologize for the mess we caused" Aiden was the first to respond while the others nodded their heads in agreement.

"There’s no need to. From the reports I heard, you were actually trying to prevent things from escalating as it did so it’s all good. What’s done is done" Harvey replied without a hint of anger in his eyes or tone.

’And besides, your Academy’s covering the cost for the rebuilding so there’s that’ Harvey inwardly commented after which he then added.

’But there’s no need for me to disclose that information to them…’

"Still doesn’t mean we should’ve destroyed it as we did. Once again, we apologize for that." Adrian responded this time to which all the youths nodded in agreement once again.

’Well at least they’re taking accountability for their actions…’ Bill thought to himself as he watched the silvery-green haired youth among them speak up this time.

"And then secondly…" Flynn began to speak while tapping on his spatial bracelet.

"We’d like to return this" the youth calmly declared while outstretching his hands, a thin, tired smile on his face and that of the other youths around him too.

Widening their eyes in utter shock, along with Harvey himself who previously had a very composed demeanor, all of them watched as an ethereal ore of brightly shifting, iridescent hues of color rested atop the youth’s hands.
