In a fairly popular district of New Eden, Arcadia’s capital, a fairly tall skyscraper along with its surrounding buildings had been totally demolished in the aftermath of a battle.

The city streets too had also been destroyed in many several places as plumes of smoke were emitting from the many destroyed cars and vehicles, some of it still on fire even.

What was left of the area was just rubble, dust and a few dead bodies strewn across the grounds in a gory sight, the slightly thick yet sickly-sweet metallic tang of blood mixing with everything else in a pervading manner and filling the air.

In addition to that, a bunch of people in sleek black suits with a logo on their jackets, took in the scale of the damage while also trying to salvage whatever they could.

This entire scenario, was all as a result of a large scale battle between a few of the Tower’s rankers and rankers from the most feared dark organization in the world, Obelisk, just a few minutes ago.

’They’ve been getting increasingly daring these past year’ a man with shiny, slick raven-black hair styled in a ponytail, muttered to himself as he walked alongside two people.

One was his long-time partner while the other was a young man in his early twenties.

Walking around the destroyed street, Leopold requested from the young man.

"Derek. Status Report"

"Well. First off, there was no civilian casualties which is good…" Derek began to speak.

"We have twenty gravely-injured rankers, most of them losing a limb or two but that’s nothing an advanced healing potion can’t fix" he continued reading out from the tablet, giving a summary of what had happened.

Taking a short pause just after, the youth then spoke again, this time, his expression dark.

"But, we lost quite a lot of rankers. About thirty of them… and most of them were A-tier ranked at that"

"This getting out of hand…" Sebastian who was usually boisterous a lot of the time, spoke in a very low tone, his expression serious and grave.

Derek on the other hand, still had a few more words to read out.

"And the perpetrator for most of the deaths was none other than Quinn Sirius, a high-tier SS-ranker who’s believed to be one of the Major Arms Of Obelisk…"

Hearing those words, Leopold let out a deep breath of air and closed his eyes for a few seconds in thought.

’If only we could locate their base or at least had an inkling of where they were situated, we’d have gone full-on assault against them…’

’But would that even guarantee our victory…’ he further mused.

Feeling his smartwatch vibrating on his wrist, Leopold opened his eyes and was surprised to see Anna calling.

The reason for this, was because his wife never usually called him when he was at work.

Rather, she would send a text message because she knew the nature of his job usually required him to be on field most of the time, possibly in situations where he was battling with members of a dark organization.

Sebastian and Derek whom had also come to know of Leopold’s work ethic were understandably surprised when they saw him pick up the phone call with a sense of urgency on his usually stoic face.

"Hi dear. What’s up?" the Duke worriedly asked.

Hearing a sniffle from the other end of the phone, Leopold got even more wary but before he could even ask what the cause of it was, Anna’s next few words stunned him.

"Our sons Leo… Ours sons are awake. They’re awake!"

Unable to even reply immediately, Leopold turned around to face Sebastian and Derek and in the most silent way possible, said to them, his voice barely above a whisper.

"They’re awake…"

Understanding what those two words meant judging by the expression of happiness on his face, Sebastian was the first to exclaim in joy, which was then followed up by Derek who just had a happy smile blossom on his lips.

"Hmmm…" Flynn frowned as he cupped Ivelia’s beautiful face in his hands.

"W-What? I’m not crying anymore" the lady replied while holding back another fresh set of happy tears.

Frowning even deeper, the young man instantly turned his gaze over to his Mum, Butler Frank and Ivar while asking.

"She’s being overdoing it again hasn’t she?"

All three of them laughing a bit at those words, Anna who was carrying a sleeping Briar replied with a really happy smile.

"That she has. Please see to it that she gets enough rest now that you’re awake"

Nodding his head, almost as if making it a priority, Flynn then angled his gaze at Ivar while giving him a squinting look that basically said; ’And you too mister!’

Understanding the meaning of his gaze, Ivar subtly averted his eyes from Flynn’s while scratching the back of his hair with a wry smile because he and his sister had been caught red-handed.

Selina on the other hand, could not believe just how shameless her daughter was currently being, although there was a very rare grin on her lips, all because it reminded her of her younger self when she fell in love with her late husband.

"I’m not leaving here today!" the ruby-eyed lady resolutely declared as she sat in the middle of Aiden’s laps, her voice muffled due to the fact that she had buried her head into his chest.

"Sure. Take as much time as you need" Aiden simply chuckled while stroking her silky-black hair.

In actuality though, due to bursting into happy tears when she saw him awake, Caroline’s slight make-up had been smudged and she didn’t want Aiden to see her like that, hence why she was hiding her face.

Although she knew that he probably wouldn’t even mind, she had been telling herself that she wanted to appear perfect in front of him when he finally woke up.

Things obviously, had ended up not going according to her plans.

Laughing to herself as she watched this sight of her friend’s daughter refusing to leave her son’s laps, the Duchess just nudged Selina with a look that said; ’You two really aren’t all that different in the way you show your affection eh?’.

Nodding in agreement, the doors to the room soon burst open and Leopold along with Sebastian and Derek also walked into the room.

Greeting their Dad, Leopold just went over to his two sons and did something he hadn’t done in years.

"Welcome back!" he grinned at the two of them.

"Thanks Dad!" they both simultaneously replied in similar manner.

Following that, the room just continued to get more and more lively as the rest of their friends along with some of their parents soon also showed up.

Adrian, Beatrice, Bryan, Lucas, Amelia, Maya, and even surprisingly, Ben, all came to visit them, each and every single one of them bringing gifts along.

King Arthur along with Queen Hela also came over, greatly surprising the two brothers.

It didn’t even take less than thirty minutes before the massive bedroom completely got filled up as even Cordelia and Darius along with some of their academy’s instructors, also arrived.

As if that wasn’t enough, Sophia, along with the rest of the student council members showed up too and to put things lightly, their entire house soon became packed to the brim!

Butler Frank, the maids, workers, chefs and every other employed worker in The Belmont’s mansion were instantly thrust into an unbelievably busy state which they had never even planned for today.

Rankers from the Tower, both from Arcadia and even Flenor Islands whom were still recovering from the Railgun’s aftermath for that matter, even made their way over.

At some point, Briar was forced to wake up, much to her dismay but Aerith, Maya’s elder sister, along with Ivelia and Caroline had been more than willing to babysit the young girl amidst all the crazy visitations that was happening.

Eventually, after about three hours or so, the house soon became less busy and only the family members of the two brothers along with their partners were now present in the mansion, or more specifically, the room they had awoken in.

Noticing how everyone in the room was now staring at them, seemingly wanting answers to everything that had happened last month but were unsure of how to do so, Aiden and Flynn sighed.

They really couldn’t be blamed for their curiosity because for one, they had already known for a long while that the two brothers seemed to have a larger-than-life thing going on for them, their parents especially.

What had even solidified those thoughts even more, was Xavier’s comment last month about them, causing both their parents along with their partners, to be prepared to listen to whatever it was both of them were shouldering.

In addition to that was the physical changes that was easily notable as evidenced by Aiden’s shiny black hair which now had a few interspersed strands of snow-white and Flynn’s aquamarine-green eyes whose edges of his irises, much like Ivelia’s, now had a slightly glowing ring of blue to it.

To top all that, although their parents and partners weren’t aware yet, the unbelievable occurrence of them suddenly ranking up, still stuck around!

Aiden was currently a low-tier SS ranker and Flynn was at mid-tier S rank!

Glancing over to each other, Flynn gently nodded to his brother whom then sucked in a deep breath, exhaled it out, and then finally proceeded to speak.
