Extra And MC-Chapter 173 - 169 - Abducted
The Astral Plane.
White as far as the eye could see.
It was a space between dimensions.
A plane between multiple planets and parallel worlds even.
And for a fissure to open into any other world or planet, they needed to pass through this space as a gateway.
Originally, this was Gaya’s abode.
Primordial Creator of Arcanora and all the other residing planets that had now met their ruin at the hands of the Demon King, Beelzebub.
That being said, no living being is ever supposed to survive there.
There was no up, no down.
No concept of time and space…
Just infinite, boundless white…
And yet, Amael, having turned himself into pure energy during his last battle with Beelzebub 15,000 years ago as a gamble of sorts with the help of his authority ((Rule Breaker)), found his way to the plane and adapted to it.
That said, Authorities came with drawbacks and his punishment for messing with a plane that should’ve never been accessible to any living being in the first place, was him being eternally shackled to the space.
However, having achieved his main goal, Amael had used the astral plane’s existence to his advantage, effectively blocking off Beelzebub’s forces for the past millenniums among other things.
Primarily, he had mostly used it in searching for, transmigrating, selecting and most especially, reincarnating souls that he felt were powerful enough to withstand Beelzebub’s eventual assault.
And after years and years of selecting, Amael had eventually stumbled upon two peculiar souls whom he had never expected to see again.
Liam and Ken Callagher, sons of Zack and Alyssa Callagher!
No sooner had he pinpointed the world they were in, had he been keeping tabs on them frequently.
And the day they finally died, he guided their souls back to the cycle of reincarnation.
Now although memories were supposed to be lost during reincarnations, effectively making them an entirely new person, Amael had made another gamble, one that would ensure that both souls kept their memories intact.
His Authority as usual, had further punished him for doing this, effectively preventing him from ever guiding the transmigration of a soul or reincarnating them into Arcanora or any other planet for that matter.
But once again, Amael’s gamble had paid off in spades because even if this was the last set of souls he guided, they were performing exceptionally well.
Currently staring at the fissure that had been closed off, one that he had purposely baited the Demon King into opening, Amael had a slight, mocking gaze present on his features.
"Beelzebub you fool. You’ve completely fallen into my trap haven’t you?" he uttered with a bit of an unimpressed expression, his tone laced with strong hints of mockery.
Returning his gaze to the Fate Globe, watching as it became even brighter, with more light encroaching upon the dark, Amael then smiled whilst making an inward declaration;
’This will end in my victory. I promise’

"And that’s being my typical day for the past 1000 years…" Xavier stated, landing just before the group.
"Closing forced fissures from that relentless bastard" he added like he was stating the obvious.
"That being said, that was a very abnormal occurrence… one that should’ve only started about six months from now…" Xavier muttered out loud.
’Brother… what are you up to really this time?’ Xavier inwardly questioned, a small, tired sigh escaping his lips a few seconds after.
"I’m sure you both know what that means though…" Xavier then placed his hands behind his back as he said, angling his gaze towards the two youths.
The two brothers, currently seating on the ground, their backs rested against each other, seemed to be just as tired when their Head Dean directed his words towards them.
Considering they had extensive knowledge of the future scenarios, including every bestiary that the Beelzebub, the Demon King had in his army, they understood exactly what was going on here.
"And mind you, that didn’t just happen here… but so many other places around Arcadia" the man explained further.
"Though I’ve closed off the main fissure here, effectively rendering the other fissures and their nether energy useless, the cat’s now out of the bag…" Xavier’s words, made no sense to the others asides Aiden and Flynn.
"For the longest time, they’ve had their focus on mostly Qilos Republic since that’s where our most concentrated energy is at…" he continued his monologue.
"But I can also understand why Arcadia is now being targeted after all this time…" he briefly directed his gaze towards the sky whilst thinking;
’A bit of warning shot I’m guessing…’
"Unfortunately, it’s only going to be harder from here on out" Xavier added, angling his gaze downwards at the brothers, after which he then directed his gaze towards everyone else around him.
"The rest of the world better start bracing themselves…" he concluded with an air of acceptance to his tone.
A bit of an introspective, uneasy atmosphere set in after he had completed those words, causing the air to become heavy.
"A year maybe… Less than a year even…" Flynn broke the silence as he muttered whilst massaging his temples, a serious headache brewing in his skull.
"Why this early…" Aiden on the other hand, groaned as he ran his fingers through his hair, wishing everything that had just happened a few minutes ago was a wild dream of sorts.
But unfortunately, he more than anyone knew that this was no dream at all.
It was, simply put, stark, inevitable, unforgiving, reality.
Noticing the perturbed, uneasy expression on their features, Anna, along with Ivelia, Caroline and Ivar, started to get really worried.
"What wa-… Why did tha-… Those creatures? Where did they all come from?" Ivar, typically unable to restrain his curiosity, inquired innocently, an apprehensive gaze on his features.
"Sweethearts. What’s going on…" their mother tentatively asked whilst moving towards them, and so did their respective partners.
"You can talk to us" Ivelia added gently, kneeling to stare at both brothers.
"It’s not your burden alone, so don’t hesitate to give it to us straight" Caroline also said, similarly squatting to their eye level.
Glancing over to Xavier who simply tilted his head a bit, the Head Dean urged them to explain the dire situation to the others as he said;
"I trust in your judgement thus far. Keep doing as you’ve been doing"
"As for all the other questions you are yet to have the answers to, I’ve updated your notebooks" he added and then said;
"You’ll find all the answers you’ll need in there"
Nodding a bit in appreciation, the brothers responded with grateful expressions;
"We appreciate it. Thank you"
"It was high time anyway. You’ve earned it" Xavier nodded and then, instantly, blinked out of existence, off to stop another forced fissure.
Gazing at the spot he was previously in, Aiden and Flynn felt the inquiring gazes of their close ones on them instead.
Sighing tiredly as they noticed their expectant gazes, both decided to explain…
…only to have Anna’s smartwatch interrupt their speech.
Apologizing for it, the Duchess was almost about to disregard the hologram message she had received when she noticed who the message was from.
"Frank?" she muttered out loud, wondering why their Butler who would rather call, sent a holo message instead.
"Come to think of it. Why hasn’t the back-up arrived all this time?" Ivelia laid out a question, one that caused everyone to realize it, a wary atmosphere setting in.
"Yeah. It’s a bit weird isn’t it?" Caroline added, a similar feel of wariness lacing her tone.
Aiden, Flynn and Ivar also felt the same way, only for that wariness to switch into one of immense panic when they saw a bloodied and bruised Frank from the Duchess’s smartwatch.
Anna instantly sucked in her breath when she saw this and so did the ladies.
Aiden, Flynn and Ivar, on the other hand, had a dark gaze immediately color their faces when they recognized the familiar area from the feed, their anger simmering like a kettle whose water had overheated.
Frank was heaving heavily, blood spurting out of his mouth as he rested his back on the walls of a dilapidated building whilst trying to speak;
"Ma’am… Young Masters… Obelisk… Briar…Abducted… Be… careful…"
Those were the words Frank had barely spoken, only for the feed to change to one of a fierce looking man with a man bun, his obsidian black irises staring right at the camera.

Even from the hologram, his eyes looked as dangerous as ever and his arms were tucked behinds his back confidently, a testament to just how terrifyingly strong he must’ve been to reduce Frank to such a lowly state.
’Rigurd Talos’ Aiden and Flynn inwardly commented with an even more darkened gaze.
"I only want one thing" the man with obvious ominous intent, let out his deep, chilly voice, a small growl present in his tone.
"Aiden and Flynn Belmont" he slowly declared.
"Come alone. Do not alert anyone" he added, his tone of choice authoritative.
And then, as if to ensure they would have no choice but to do exactly as he said, all six watched with bated breaths, their hearts rapidly beating as the camera switched over to a crying Briar who was trapped in what seemed to be a cage, created by ominous, onyx-black flames.
"Or she dies" he concluded, and instantly, the holo feed went blank.
