Watching as Lithel’s fear-stricken eyes went lifeless, Caroline launched a kick that sent her flying straight to one of the orcs whom was about to cleave off Amelia’s head.

-Bam-!!

Colliding brutally with the orc, and sending him flying backwards, Amelia whom had also been keeping tabs on said orc whilst fending off the other two’s attacks, dashed towards it.

Performing a swift twirl mid-dash, the lady tightly gripped and forcefully launched her spear like a javelin!

’{Dawnbreaker Art – First Form: Bloomburst}-!’

-Twoosh-!!!

Like an impact shot, its speed unholy and its force terrifying, Amelia’s spear, coated in a swirling, crimson hue of energy, pierced through the two creatures, leaving a gaping hole in both of their torsos as blood spewed out.

-Spurt-!!!

Just like that, one of the orcs was dead alongside an already dead vampire.

But that action of hers, left her wide open as the orcen leader amongst the three whom she had barely been able to keep up with, launched towards her with a battle cry!

"(Raaarrrgghh!)"

Leaving a small crater in the spot he had launched himself from, the last orc trailing slightly behind him, the orcen leader watched as an onslaught of golden arrows, suddenly populated his field of view.

The mana-infused arrows, caused the orc behind him to halt, deflecting them with a rapid swing of his axe.

-Pang-! Pang-!! Pang-!!!

Unwilling to halt in his own assault though, the orcen leader, Thorak, let out a hue of crimson red from his body with a roar, dissipating the onslaught of arrows in an instant.

-Fuammmm-!!!

As all of these happened in the fraction of a second, Thorak’s axe was already descending with a terrifying speed and force to split Amelia in a symmetrical half, only to watch as walls of thick, rosy vines, shot up from the ground to hold him in place.

’[Floral Series: Thornsnare]-!’ Caroline outstretched her hand and tightened her grip in a fluid continuous motion, further tightening her hold and squeezing the orc who realized he had been led into a trap.

At the same time, the vines which pierced Thorak’s tough, dark grey skin, immediately released poisonous toxins into his bloodstream, making him widen his eyes in horror.

Feeling the burst of wind that halted just an inch above her head, her hair violently fluttering backwards due to the aftereffect from Thorak’s axe almost cleaving her in half, Amelia’s palm was already raised as she casted a dangerous spell of her own.

’[Nova Series: Starburst]-!!’

Like a small twinkle, mirroring the explosion of a star from the night’s sky, a bright white orb of pure energy, released from her palm, expanding to completely obliterate Thorak’s head et torso in an instant!

-Thud-!

Watching as the lifeless body of the orcen leader crashed onto the ground with a strong thud, only half of its body left as the burnt flesh around it sizzled like meat on a barbecue, Amelia’s eyes darted over to the last orc whom was in a precarious situation of its own.

Ivelia, whom had previously directed her arrows towards the now dead Thorak, had already switched over to focusing on the last orc the moment Caroline’s vines had held him down in place.

As a result, the last orc, despite being stronger than Ivelia in every possible way, wasn’t able to close the gap between he and the orange-haired lady due to her relentless onslaught of attacks.

This was also why, his dark-grey skin was currently riddled with mana-infused, golden spectral arrows, an aftereffect of him being unable to deflect it all.

Having reduced the orc to its terrible state, Ivelia then snapped her fingers, releasing the second form of her weapon art.

’[Spectral Art – Second Form: Solar Discharge]’

Like a localized explosion, the areas in which the arrows pierced through the orc’s tough skin, suddenly exploded into chunks of meat, bones, guts and blood.

-Boom-! Boom-! Boom-!

With that, all the orcs assaulting the Grand Agrarian Institute were dead.

Prior to that happening, the elf, despite being the strongest amongst his comrades, was currently groaning in displeasure as he released a stream of fiery green flames mixed with hues of crimson.

-Fuaassshhh-!

Unfortunately for him though, he had met his match with Beatrice whom was also countering his fiery flames with her blazing inferno of azure flames, the streams of fire clashing at a midpoint.

Creating an almost beautiful sight, save for the destroyed structures around them, it started becoming increasingly clear whose stream of fire was winning.

"(Hahaha! Die human scum!)" the elf, after realizing he was pushing the red-haired lady back, gloated with a malicious grin.

However, unknown to him, Beatrice had purposely lowered her output, all in an effort to cause the elf to let down his guard!

Watching as her stream of fire was gradually getting pushed back, mere inches from getting consumed by Ulroth’s green flames, she instantly, twirled away from the spot, much to the confused elf’s expression.

Simultaneously, without a single movement wasted, Beatrice retrieved her rapier and lunged forwards whilst using her weapon art.

’{Sunburst Art – Second Form: Esoteric Flashblaze}-!’

-Boom-!

Before Ulroth could even react, he watched as a blazing ring of golden flames, emanated from the lady’s body, melting the ground within a certain range around her into magma and scorched earth.

’(No!)’ the elf swiftly casted a protective spell as an agglomeration of splintered rocks and gale encased him in its protective sphere!

However, as if he had only seen half of the weapon art’s release, Ulroth watched as Beatrice appeared right before him in the blink of an eye, her form a full golden dragon whose maws, chomped right through his head.

Lifelessly falling to the ground, the headless elf’s last thoughts were that the fabric warp shouldn’t have opened up a fissure here, right into the hands of the deadly, young ladies.

Letting out a turbid breath of air as she reassumed her human form, Beatrice turned to look around, watching just as Ivelia killed off the last orc with her {Solar Discharge}.

Around that exact same time, a beautiful lady with dark-blonde hair dressed in a battle suit, along with rankers from the Tower, suddenly arrived at the Agrarian Institute.

Judging from their battered appearance, it seemed like they themselves had just wrapped up a previous battle from another irregular fissure and had rushed here in hopes of reducing casualties.

"Oh great. We’re gonna get scolded for not following due protocols" Beatrice silently commented, watching as the Verdant Steward, along with the other Tower members looked around the destroyed surroundings.

Caroline whom had encased the old man they had saved from the very beginning in her vines, quickly tore it down, watching as the old man looked up at her with grateful eyes.

His ankle which had been previously fractured, had now healed up as the vines retracted after healing it.

This was a spell Caroline had picked up from her mum a month back.

Although it wasn’t even as potent as a mid-tier healing potion, it hung somewhere between mid-tier and low-tier.

That being said, it was still strong enough to heal someone back to proper conditions given due time.

Quickly, the lady directed the elderly man over to the rankers who ensured he was truly alright before letting him go on his way.

They even assigned a ranker to protect him till he got home, ensuring that he faced no issues on the way back.

As this happened though, Ivelia jumped down from the pillar she was on, moving over to the other young ladies whom had met up in a single spot.

"Think they’ll let us off easy this time" Caroline whispered to her fellow interning rankers.

"Me. Yes. You guys, mmm… not so much" Ivelia casually responded.

"Well, it is what it is" Beatrice shrugged, watching as the Verdant Steward marched in their direction with an annoyed expression on her face.

"Did you get the information, plants and ingredients you came here for though this time?" Amelia on the other hand, asked the orange-haired lady with a whisper of her own.

"You bet I did" Ivelia responded, glancing over to Alexia Crestfall who was inching closer by the second.

"Great! Now we can finally head back to Arcadia" the glee in Caroline’s voice was evident.

"Yeah. I mean, Solaris is nice and all, but I can’t, for the life of me, get used to the plethora of rules in this strict nation" Beatrice agreed with the ruby-eyed lady.

"Evacuation should’ve been your priority, not suppression!" Alexia’s annoyed voice, cut through their interactions, especially directing her angered gaze towards the Crown Princess of Arcadia, Caroline and Amelia.

As for Ivelia, she had a soft spot for the lady since she and her brother created the advanced-grade potion that restored the arm she had lost in a brutal fissure incident a few years back.

But without even making those thoughts known, Alexia continued speaking in an angered tone;

"You should’ve also informed The Tower the moment you realized the irregular fissure, not take matters into your own hands. You’re interning rankers for God’s sake!"

"What if you were unable to keep them at bay and instead, ended up being casualties yourself?! What would you have done then?!" she rhetorically questioned in annoyance.

"Also, do you have any idea, just how detrimental the relationship between our nations would have turned out?!"

"So tell me. Give me a good reason why you didn’t follow due protocols?!" Alexia posed a question to the ladies, hoping that they would see just how reckless they had been.

Honestly, all four knew that she was right.

Her reasoning was solid and considering she was also Verdant Steward, a governing body of Solaris’s government, she had every right to reprimand them even if they themselves were people with high authority.

In addition to that, they were in another nation and were required to do as they were told, even if it was not something they were used to.

As a wave of silence cascaded over all five individuals, Alexia’s jet-black eyes gazing at them with the aura of an elderly sister scolding her younger ones, a chilling wave of sinister energy suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
