"The combinations are endless…" Aiden stated, staring at the one hundred and something plus variations of directions they had written down.
"Yeah…" Flynn muttered out loud, a thoughtful expression on his face as he continued;
"But one thing’s for certain, the sequences, always start with the variation ’Up’."
Moving towards the board, Flynn circled that particular variation, to which Aiden nodded in response.
"Unfortunately, I doubt we’ll be able to fully decipher the string of variations considering the siren song always seems to come with different variations every time." Flynn added and once again, Aiden nodded, after which he then added a few seconds later;
"But the good thing is that we now at least understand what it means."
"Yeah. At the very least, we won’t be going into the Astral Plane unprepared." Flynn agreed, capping the marker as he placed it into his spatial bracelet.
Having done that, Aiden released a sigh of relief and then, proceeded to stretch like a lazy cat.
It had been two days since they had been holed up in their quarters, completely focused on deciphering the siren songs in their heads.
At first, when the sounds had started living rent free it their heads, it had been mildly annoying, occasionally ticking them off whenever it happened.
This was especially so, since, asides from knowing Amael had a hand in creating and infusing it into the orbs, they had no idea what it really meant or what they were going to with it.
But gradually, over the past few months, they had started to notice a pattern of sounds in which it came.
Now although the sounds would vary in their arrangement, they always had the same sort of tunes.
That was why, at some point, Flynn and Aiden, realized it was Morse Code, disguised into a siren song.
Due to that, the youths had been more kin to grasping if there was a hidden message in it.
However, since they had never really had the time to settle down and properly decipher it due to their rigorous schedule these past few months, they had put in on the backburner.
Now that they were chanced to decipher it though, they took their sweet time sorting it out.
"That’s one loose end tied up" Aiden spoke again after he had stretched to his heart’s content.
"Let’s contact home and tell them we’ll be arriving tomorrow. I’ve missed Mum’s homemade cooking!" he added enthusiastically, a warm smile gracing his face.
"So have I!" Flynn nodded in agreement with a similarly enthusiastic response.
"But, before we actually do head home, there’s one more loose end we’re yet to deal with" Flynn casually stated this time, moving about the room to pack his clothes into a suitcase, making it easier for him toss it all into his spatial bracelet in one fell swoop.
"Oh yeah!" Aiden clapped in realization and instantly, as if of a hive mind, both he and Flynn stated in unison;
"Apprehending Quinn Sirius"

Despite the looming invasion of the Demon King, the people of Arcanora, were once again thrown into a state of shocked disbelief.
Something groundbreaking had just being created!
A revolutionary potion, one that was capable of increasing mana core ranks, was now a reality!
The Core Advancement Potion as it was termed, created by Ivelia and Ivar Steelblade once again, of which the Tower was of great assistance to its creation, turned Arcanora over on its head for a few days as media companies struggled to get even more info about it.
That said, the citizens of Arcadia especially, were the proudest of this groundbreaking product.
But no, that was not all.
In an effort to further bolster the strength of the humans in preparation for the looming invasion, the Executives of the Tower, after being ’convinced’ by Julius and Leopold, along with King Arthur, passed on a shocking statement a few days after the potion was tested and was proven to have no side effects.
And that was to have every ranker (with the exemption of those from dark organizations), regardless of rank, given one singular bottle of the potion each.
Due to this, completely new buildings were built on many of The Tower’s grounds in the short span of a week as rankers swarmed to get their hands on the revolutionary potion.
That said, Ivelia and Ivar, in addition with the Tower’s Research department, released some very important information regarding the use of the potions that was broadcasted globally, just a day before the Tower started handing out free Core Advancement potions.
First off, the initial use of the potion would grant a ranker, an instant upgrade by two, three or four tiers, depending on their current core rankings.
Lower rankers (D to B), would get the most benefit (four to three tiers) while the higher rankers (A and above), would get less benefit (three to two tiers).
Still, it was a significant boost as some rankers would basically jump from one core rank to the next in an instant.
Secondly, and the most important, a tiny drop of blood from the user of the potion, was required to be added to said potion before they consumed it.
This was necessary, to ensure that the body wouldn’t see it as a foreign substance it needed to get rid of, ultimately preventing an implosion or destruction of a ranker’s the mana core.
Lastly, other subsequent uses of the potions won’t have the same effect as the first time, and will instead, have a much more reduced effect since it had been previously introduced into the bloodstream.
As a result, it could possibly only give a tier increase at most, until gradually, the effects would be very miniscule, akin to a few hours of typical mana core training.
Those three things, were basically the summary of the statements they had dropped.
But at the same time, these conditions, especially the second, was the foundation of the breakthrough the youths had realized in the laboratory.
Mana core ranks and individual body physiques were different and as a result, required a potion tailor-made, not to suit everyone as they had previously tried to do but instead, made to adapt to the various differences in each individual human.
Still, despite all that, rankers flocked to the markets once it also became available there, because unsurprisingly, getting another tier increase and a few hours of mana core training by simply drinking a potion, almost felt like a godsend.
With mostly Realm-Lore Elixirs (The company the Belmont’s partnered with) and the Tower, having a great share and supply of the potions, it didn’t take long for the potions to circulate through the markets at an alarming rate, despite the insatiable demands for it.
Still, Realm-Lore Elixirs, as per Leopold’s decision and also, due to the fact they had the greatest supply of it and the formula’s potion, were able to sell the potions at an affordable price, akin to the advanced grade healing potion for those who really needed it.
Just like that, Arcanora’s rankers and inhabitants, had gotten even more powerful, all thanks to Ivelia and Ivar’s efforts.
This, even made some rankers and a lot of other individuals believe that the two, were literally a beacon of hope for Arcanora’s future.
But if anyone were to ask the two individuals what they thought about being a beacon of hope for Arcanora, they would simply laugh it off and discard that praise.
Instead, they would give it all to Aiden and Flynn, because, although the unbelievable feats they had achieved, despite being hidden from the public, save for a select few, was more of a beacon of hope than they themselves could ever give them credit for.
After all, if not for them, they themselves probably wouldn’t even be alive today.

Having bid farewell to everyone at the Frontline; Xavier, The Valkyries and The Caeruleum Tribe as they called themselves; Aiden and Flynn made their way over to Frostfall, Qilos Rebuplic’s capital.
There, they would use a Spaceport that would instantly transport them to Arcadia.
That said, there was a lot of crying from the young kids whom had come to grow fond of the youths during their few months of stay at the small island, all of whom didn’t want them to leave.
But in response, Aiden and Flynn had promised they would return to visit in due time, one that made the children happy again.
After having calmed them down, the youths were finally able to leave, the children seeing them off with beaming smiles.
A few minutes after they had left though, Evie, currently in a room with Ashildr, spoke out curiously;
"Those two are up to something…"
’That they are…’ Ashildr inwardly chuckled.
"Why a Spaceport when they can literally blink over to Arcadia?" Evie questioned even further, her head slightly tilting.
"And why ask me to tell them to lea-" she halted her thoughts almost immediately, the wave of realization hitting her.

"Oh~. I see how it is!" she clapped gleefully, her mood practically soaring through the roof.
To this, Ashildr, who was mapping out war strategies on the map before her for the kind of terrain Xavier was planning to transform The Frontlines into, couldn’t help but chuckle out loud in response to Evie’s childlike glee.
