Emilia was surrounded by a golden halo. The skies completely ignored the glacier and the black flames with red streaks. It fully opened, revealing what is known as the void: a null place where nothing or something is incapable of existing, an empty place located just beneath the three dimensions, a place of complete darkness and absolute nothingness, where no universal law can exist...

"You can't do it!" Pride exploded in flames around her body. The sword in her hand grew exponentially, and with a slash, it tried in vain to close again the crack that opened to the void...

"Damn crazy bitch!" Envy also stirred fiercely. Her expression turned pale, and a light green energy swirled around the huge crack, which seemed to be growing every second.

"You cannot bring the Fallen!" Pride gritted her teeth... Right in front of the void's crack appeared an X formed by red flames. Quickly moving her hand, the cross traveled at the speed of light to completely break the crack...

Emilia remained indifferent as she watched the dark void before her. She could feel hundreds of eyes returning her gaze through absolute nothingness.

The cross violently collided with the crack. However, from it emerged a hand. It seemed to be a woman's: extremely white, as if it didn't have a drop of blood. The flaming cross evaporated into the air, and the hand returned into the darkness. Shortly after, another hand appeared. Unlike the previous porcelain hand, this one was terribly wrinkled and ash-colored. The hand desperately tried to escape, and from it more and more hands began to emerge, as if trying to flee...

Pride gritted her teeth as she watched hundreds of hands trying to escape with the sole purpose of devouring existence...

"You won't be able to release those things into the world," Envy looked with murderous eyes at the thousands of wrinkled ash-colored hands trying to tear her flesh apart. A great intention and pressure began to emanate from that crack: it was vengeance.

Emilia smiled coldly.

"Why do you reject your own people?" she tilted her head with curiosity. "Weren't you supposed to be on the same side back then?"

The Fallen, angelic once — angels, cherubs, even thrones — who had once served God, stabbed Him in the back by following Lucifer in a war that devastated both sides. God, in His final moments, tried to cast all the traitors into the abyss, but by fate only a quarter of the traitors were expelled. All of them were forgotten over time. Their names were forgotten, even their own existence. After all, nothing can come out of the abyss.

"Those things are no longer angels or demons," Pride clicked her tongue in disapproval. "And you know it better than anyone, Emilia!" Pride gripped the hilt of her sword tighter. "If you let them out, not only will we be in danger, but even all the humans and animals of this place!"

"You're wrong about one thing," Emilia shook her head. "Did you see the first hand that came out of the abyss? There are seven of us, but only six have been seen. Haven't you wondered where the sixth seraph is?" Emilia smiled brilliantly. Her cold expression broke completely, and an abnormal madness shone in her eyes. The crack expanded much more, and a heartbreaking scream came from the very will of the world...

"The sixth seraph, Seraphine's twin sister, is in the abyss, guarding the poor, wretched souls of the Fallen," Emilia raised one of her fingers. "They seek only one thing: divine forgiveness. Forgiveness that only she can grant them. But how can you forgive a traitor?" Emilia moved her eyes...

A huge sphere of golden light shone like the sun. It fiercely clashed with the dimension created by Emilia, melting it. It covered her completely. Golden drops fell, forming Avarice. The relaxed smile that had been on her face disappeared; a dark look appeared in her eyes, and her lips were twisted...

"To kill a traitor," Emilia smiled proudly.

"Puh…"

Next to Emilia, Elizabeth appeared and let out a groan of pain. She wiped the golden blood from her lips and looked at the crack that gave a small glimpse into the abyss. Slightly opening her mouth:

"You really did it..." she looked at Emilia with great surprise. She couldn't process how she had done something so reckless.

"It was either that or Cain stabbing you in the back," Emilia said coldly.

"So it's true..." Elizabeth stayed silent for a few moments. In her brief vision, she saw a deep pool of blood that painted the skies. She thought they were actually Pride's flames; they were somewhat similar. Elizabeth put on a mocking smile. "Heh, so that bloodsucking mosquito is already at that point of recovery," she said, putting her hands on her hips.

Avarice remained completely silent. Her mind raced at a thousand miles per hour, weighing the pros and cons of continuing. Seeing the hundreds of hands that, sensing her presence, became much more chaotic, she sighed. She raised her hands in surrender:

"You caught me!" the smile returned to her lips. "But a bit too late."

The moment she finished speaking, the skies split. Claws finished tearing apart the dimension Emilia had created. A stream of blood fell like a waterfall, shaking everything around. The smell of iron completely flooded the place. From the dark red blood emerged a young man nearly two meters tall, with black hair as well as black eyes. The young man wore a dark red suit. His gaze swept over the entire place before settling on Elizabeth. Smiling, two fangs appeared:

"Mosquito, huh? From what I see, you're not in the best condition either," he said coldly.

"The odds have changed!" Avarice applauded with satisfaction. "Although that thing behind you is annoying... Nothing can come out of the abyss, right?"

He adjusted his monocle while attentively observing Emilia's expression...

"Nothing can come out of the abyss, indeed," Emilia nodded calmly. She turned her gaze back to the huge crack. The wrinkled gray hands disappeared, and the porcelain hand reappeared, moving slowly upward. "But the rules change with the presence of a ten-winged seraph..."
