[Elemental Supreme]

Legendary: Greatly increases control of your own element. Gives you resistance to all elements and Divinities.

*Extra Note: Gods become Supreme or merge with Supremes upon reaching Stage-7. Then, the Universal Will combines their Concepts into pre-existing Universal Laws or create a new Universal Law for it.

*Extra Note continued: While you are an Elemental Supreme, you are still only Stage-4. As such, the Universal Will does not recognize your Element as a true element, and it will not convert it into a Universal Law.

*Extra Note continued: Due to above explained reasons, only you can wield your element.

Nameless Death frowned as he read the message.

He was happy to be the only user of his element, but from how the messages were phrased, it seemed there was a benefit to let others use your element.

Thinking again, there has to be a benefit. There was no way the Elemental Supremes would let others use their element otherwise.

After checking the title, Nameless Death focused on the new system screen.

[Please name your new element.]

"Darkness Firmament." He said without wasting a breath.

[Would you like to reconsider the name?]

"Just use the name I said."

[Last reminder, would you like to reconsider the name? Names cannot be changed later, so please make the decision carefully.]

The corner of Nameless Death's lips twitched.

He could feel that Universal Codex was calling the name he had chosen bad.

But that only made him want to use that name more.

"Darkness Firmament."

[….Name registered.]

Nameless Death snorted, and said, "Status. Show me only the details that changed."

Existence Level: Pseudo Stage-4 → Stage 4, Grade 5

Title: Elemental Supreme (New)

Core Rank: Pseudo Stage-4 (Mortal), Stage-4 Grade 5 (God)

*Extra Note: Two Core ranks as you have two Cores.

Elemental Rank: Mortal (Core 1), Stage-4 Grade-5 God (Core 2)

*Extra Note: Two Elemental ranks as you have two Cores.

Awakener Rank: Unawakened, Stage 1

Nameless Death checked the first half of the status and nodded to himself.

The Core rank made sense, and so did the Elemental ranks.

Currently, the growing Elemental Trees of Darkness, Death, Void, Shadow, Time, had reached his Core while the Seed of Darkness Firmament (his element was inside his Seed of Existence).

As for the Elemental Seeds and Trees of monster, they were inside the monster's Core.

"Awakener rank, so it really did have a Trait."

Nameless Death looked at other stats.

...

Stats:

Strength: Pseudo Stage-4 → Stage 4, Grade 5, Level 1

Dexterity: Pseudo Stage-4 → Stage 4, Grade 5, Level 1 freewēbnoveℓ.com

Constitution: Pseudo Stage-4 → Stage 4, Grade 5, Level 1

Luck: Fateless

*Extra Note: There is a huge gap between the people in the same level too. It is advised that the user does not think he is as strong as the strongest Level 1 monsters just because it shows Level 1 on his status page.

Affinity:

Core 1: Death (Adept, peak), Shadow (Adept, lowest), Darkness (Supreme, Peak), Void (Adept, Peak), Darkness Firmament (Pinnacle), Time (Adept, peak)

Core 2: Wind (Adept, lowest), Time (Stage 4, Grade 5), Harmony (Adept, low), Rage (Expert, mid), Fear (Expert, mid)

Nameless Death swept his gaze over his stats.

They were easy to understand.

The affinities, on the other hand, were interesting.

"I can bring those Elemental Seeds into my own Core, but let's have them stay there. The Elemental Seeds in my own Core will grow faster if they don't encounter opposing affinities."

There were many opposing affinities.

Hope, Despair.

Death, Life.

Having Elemental Seeds of the opposing affinities in Seed of Existence would slow the growth of Elemental Seeds.

Similarly, having same type of Elemental Seeds in the Seed of Existence brings out a resonance effect that helps the weaker Elemental Seeds grow faster if the other similar Elemental Trees are of the higher rank already.

Nameless Death had dark-type Elemental Seeds in his Seed of Existence, and he decided he would put only dark-type Elemental Affinities there.

"Rage and Fear are Emotion-type elements, while Time is Celestial-type. So let's keep them in Core 2."

Nameless Death felt weirded out how he did not have memories but he retained information.

He ignored the feeling and focused on Darkness Firmament.

"What does Pinnacle Mastery mean?"

[Pinnacle: You are the creator of the Element, and what you've created is a finished product. To evolve your Element now, you need your followers to cultivate your element and bring new understandings (Concepts) into it.]

Nameless Death frowned.

It sounded like he had reached the end of road with Darkness Firmament.

"Is there really no way to make it progress myself?

"Is my only choice reaching Stage-7, and turning my Element into a Universal Law so that others can use it, which then will help me evolve my element?"

Nameless Death thought about it carefully.

Ultimately, he clicked his tongue and focused on the other contents in the status screen.

He could only ignore the problem with Darkness Firmament for now.

Concept:

Core 1: Darkness (True Darkness, Legendary)

Core 2: Rage (Berserking Will, Common), Fear (Frenzied Instinct, Rare), Time (Time Dilation, Common)

"So Universal Codex can show rarity of Concepts too," he muttered.

Knowing what his own Concept did, he focused on the other Concepts he gained from the monster.

"Berserking Will."

He used the Concept.

Red wisps of energy materialized around him.

He could feel his emotions being twisted and surge in strength.

A deep sense of rage clouded his mind, and rationality slipped through his fingers.

He wanted to fight, butcher his enemies, and commit genocides.

"What kind of person you have to be to build a Concept like this—"

Nameless Death swallowed his words when a screen popped up.

Rage: (Expert, Mid → High → Peak)

The elemental mastery jumped two sub ranks just from one use.

It was like saying Nameless Death had talent for the Berserking Will Concept.

In other words, he was an angry guy who crashed out regularly.

"What the fuck is this? I'm quite a calm guy, fucker."

He clicked his tongue and used Frenzied Instinct Concept of Fear Element.

Irrational panic seeped into his mind.

It made his reaction speed and survival instincts soar dramatically. His judgment ability increased too.

However, when he increased the output of the Concept, his judgment ability fell sharply, making him prone to mistakes, hesitation, or fleeing from opponents.

In exchange, his survival instincts and reaction speed saw a rise.

"I see, so Berserking Will makes you angry and strong. But the angry part can be removed by using Frenzied Instinct, which improves judgment ability.

"The two Concepts synergize with each other. The negative parts get removed and only the positive parts remain."

It made Nameless Death realize why the monster had tried to flee.

It must've repeatedly increased the power of both of his Concepts to fight him.

The Frenzied Instincts made the judgment ability fall if it was used too much, which made the monster irrational, and he began to run away.

Nameless Death stopped using the Concepts and looked at the techniques he gained.

There were too many of them, and most were weak and useless.

"Show me techniques that are either Stage 1 or above."

The status screen changed again.

Spells and Techniques:

Predator's Claw (Stage 1, Supreme), Eater's Howl (Stage 1, Supreme), Abyssal Bone Overdrive (Stage 4, Apprentice)

Predator Claw used Rage element to create energy-based claws.

Eater Howl was a Fear element technique that targeted one's mind. It was an AOE attack that reduced mental resistance, and instilled panic.

They were at peak mastery (Supreme), but since they were only Stage 1, the monster hadn't used them in the battle.

The only technique it used was Abyssal Bone Overdrive.

It had active and passive effects.

Active effect increased strength and speed by 5 times, but the cost of energy was exponential, which made it useless for long drawn battles.

Passive effect strengthened the bone structure. Every time one's bones shattered, they would be shaped to resist the damage that destroyed them.

The technique was useful, but it was one of the weaker Stage-4 techniques.

Lastly, he checked the monster's trait.

Trait: Relentless Dominion (Relentless Dominion, Steadfast Realm, Dominion Threshold, Weight of Dominion, Crownless Domain)

He checked the abilities of the trait.

Relentless Dominion: In any prolonged battle, you gain a stacking resistance (up to 20%) against crowd control, soul attacks, and environmental debuffs.

Unlocks at Trait Awakening.

Steadfast Realm:

While standing still or holding ground in combat, you generate a subtle defensive field that slightly reduces incoming ranged and area attacks.

Allies within 10 meters gain minor resistance to fear or panic effects.

The longer you hold a position (up to 5 minutes), the harder it becomes for enemies to impose battlefield-altering effects in that area (e.g., gravity shifts, elemental storms).

*Unlocks at Awakened rank.

Dominion Threshold:

You can declare a "Threshold" during combat (radius ~15m). Within it:

- Your stamina and focus loss are halved.

- Concepts used within the Threshold take slightly longer to activate for enemies (minor delay).

Only one Threshold can exist at a time. Lasts up to 5 minutes.

*Unlocks at Mythic rank.

...

Weight of Dominion:

Trigger Condition: Kill multiple enemies within your "Threshold".

- Your presence within this Threshold becomes heavy, and enemies within it feel a passive pressure, which increases with each enemy you kill.

- You can now shift the Threshold to follow you slowly (if walking or hovering).

- Your recovery of energy improves slightly while inside the Threshold.

*Unlocks at Empyrean rank

Crownless Domain:

Trigger Condition: Defeat a Rare or higher rank Title-holder inside the Threshold.

- Threshold becomes semi-permanent in battle and can persist for 30 seconds after you leave it.

- Upon activation, your first Spell inside the Threshold will have increased intensity (e.g., more area, longer duration, stronger pull).

*Unlocks at Paragon rank

[*Extra Note: Traits merge with the person's existence when they become God, and no new Traits can be unlocked after that. In exchange, the traits are strengthened.]

Nameless Death read the Extra note first.

He nodded to himself, knowing what that meant.

Anyone could become a God whether they were at Unawakened rank, or Fabled rank.

The only condition to become a God was to surpass Supreme mastery, and reach Stage-1 mastery in any element.

Your rank would jump by three ranks when you became a God.

An Awakened would become a Stage-1 God.

A Mythic would become a Stage-2 God.

An Empyrean would become a Stage-3 God.

And so on.

The higher your mortal rank, the harder it was to become a God at that rank.

Normally, Awakeners and Demigods could only reach Stage 3 rank.

From Stage-4 Awakener rank, it was said to be impossible to become a God since at that rank you would become a Stage-7 God (Supreme) directly.

That meant you had to complete all advancement required from Stage-1 God to Stage-7 Gods at once.

In other words, almost everyone who was at Stage-4 was a God.

"The monster reached Godhood at Paragon rank, so it directly became a Stage-4 God.

"Most of its abilities are geared toward survival, or crowd combat.

"I was really lucky that none of its abilities worked against me, or else there is no doubt I couldn't have won against a Stage-4 Monster God while being a Pseudo Stage-4 unawakened mortal."

Only when he said it did Nameless Death realize what sort of insanity had he done.

Forget about being a God, he wasn't even an Awakener when he challenged the Monster God.

"Well, what is done, is done, I should focus on creating a plan to fight the Sanguiscreech Ants."

Nameless Death looked at the remaining time for the Quest and the berserker's arrival.

"Four hours," he muttered. "Dammit, I wasted too much time creating Darkness Firmament."

He had no other choice.

He bolted towards the entrance of burrow to the Sanguiscreech Ants' nest he had discovered.

Reaching his location, he noticed three ants guarding the entrance.

"Okay, I should go over everything before I fight just to make sure I'm not missing anything."

Sanguiscreech Ants live at the border of outer ring and the inner ring of the jungle.

They were individually strong and had thousands in numbers.

They had both strength and numbers which made them near invincible in the outer ring of the jungle.

However, the inner ring was different. There, even the weakest monster God was Stage-4 Grade-5 Level 6.

The gap between ranks increased with each Stage.

At Stage-4, the gap became so massive that it finally started to show effects.

To give an example, the gap between Level 5 and Level 6 was big enough that the Sanguiscreech Ants couldn't defeat a Level 6 enemy despite their numbers.

This had forced the Sanguiscreech Ants to stay in outer ring of the forest.

However, recently an unknown entity appeared in the inner ring and started to wreak havoc.

This entity had attacked the monsters that were manning the border of inner ring and outer ring.

With their enemies weakened, the Sanguiscreech Ants had been preparing to defeat them once and for all, then enter the inner ring.

"Luckily for me, whoever this unknown entity is, it killed the Level 5 warriors of Sanguiscreech Ants too and weakened the Level 4 ones. So I have a chance at victory."

Needless to say, Nameless Death was simply hyping himself.

Even with the strongest Sanguiscreech Ants dead or weakened, they still numbered in thousands, with the weakest being a Stage-4 Grade-5 Level 1 God.
