Professor Fenris continued his explanation,

"Now let’s talk about the power levels of supernatural tools."

There are 4 levels of power among the tools,

[1] Archon Grade

[2] Highlord Grade

[3] Overlord Grade

[4] Nexus Grade

Archon tools have four tiers, from tier 1 to tier 4.

Highlord tools have three tiers, from tier 1 to tier 3.

Overlord tools have two tiers, from tier 1 to tier 2.

Nexus tools do not have any tiers.

He also explained further that not only tools, relics, or artifacts are ranked in this manner, but all sorts of martial or magical techniques or arts are also ranked in this system, and the power of the tools at each level is equivalent to the level of the Seeker is -

Archon Tier 1 = 1st-Phase Seeker

Archon Tier 2 = 2nd-Phase Seeker

Archon Tier 3 = 3rd-Phase Seeker

Archon Tier 4 = 4th-Phase Seeker

Highlord Tier 1 = 5th-Phase Seeker

Highlord Tier 2 = 6th-Phase Seeker

Highlord Tier 3 = 7th-Phase Seeker

Overlord Tier 1 = 8th-Phase Seeker

Overlord Tier 2 = 9th-Phase Seeker

Nexus Tier = 10th-Phase Seeker

"No, they did not exterminate us in the past for fun or some silly reason like Hybrid creation, but because at one time, we were a threat to them. And a significant threat. If we are capable of being a threat to them, it means we can also match them, maybe not surpass them, but match their power with enough effort."

They seem to be constantly calling him bootlicker, simp of the Valkyrie and many more things like that. The first prince, the 2nd prince, and 3rd princess did not seem to care that Valkyrie had openly shown her killing intent to so many of the families that almost stand at the top of the three great kingdoms. More like no princess or princesses have any authority over her, that is.

Axel knew that underneath, Valkyrie was annoyed and even disgusted by all these antics. Forcing her to be their decorated and overglorified hero, which she never wanted, and being forcefully summoned to this world.

But he frowned, thinking about what the Valkyrie said to him moments ago, how she threatened him like that silently, he didn’t like it. So, why was he thinking about her constantly? Damn it. He cursed internally and got rid of all the thoughts lingering on the most disgustingly and devastatingly beautiful woman he had ever seen in his entire dog life.

Professor Fenris coughed slightly to garner everyone’s attention, "Now, let’s get to the main topic of the class, why weapons or magic artifacts are so important for every single seeker in general. Unless you are a magic branch specialist with both of your aspects in the magic branch."

"But even if both of your aspects are in the magic branch, learning proper close combat with a weapon will eliminate one of your weaknesses."

"As for Generalists, and Specialists on the warrior branches, I do not even need to stretch how important it is."

"And a fair warning, which you might already know, most of you at least. That is to pick one weapon, I mean a single type of weapon, which will accompany you throughout your whole journey as a Seeker, and something you will become an absolute master of at one point."

"Mages also have their meditation arts or spells designated for your specific aspects, which could be used when fighting a melee battle. You would need to learn about those in aspect-related lectures and then purchase those from the academy library using your academy points."

"For now, mage specialists just pick weapons that you think are suitable from the artifact section, and everyone else pick your relics or hybrid artifact weapons."

On the side of the combat training hall, alongside the wall, were rows and rows of countless weapons. Axel could see that they were of the lowest quality Archon grade tier 1 weapons. Surprisingly, he did not go towards the relic or hybrid artifact section, which most people did.

Instead, like a small section of people. He went towards the artifact section, which only housed weapons for mage-type aspects. Heinz became confused at that gesture and gave him a questioning look. But Axel simply signaled him to go about his way. Heinz shrugged and went towards the hybrid artifact section, which hosted the least amount of weapons, but it had more than enough in number to not become short in quantity for all those choosing that category of tools.

Many looked at him questioningly, especially those getting magic artifacts for having both aspects in the magic branch. He was now moderately well known among everyone in the gold section, for one, he was the second most handsome male among all the 1200 students, with his iconic deep blue eyes and blue hair. Some even thought he was more handsome than the 4th prince, there was also the fact that he was the most promising runecaster in the entire academy.

As for the fact about his runic eyes, it seems the academy was keeping it a secret for now, and last but not least, many simply knew that he was the grandson of the legendary runecaster Damien Nomrad. There was also the incident that happened today. Professor Fenris also looked at him tentatively.

Without paying them any attention, he kept observing the weapons using the knowledge he knew, eventually he picked one very old and rusty-looking sword engraved with runes. He simply picked up the sword and walked back, joining with everyone.

Professor asked him curiously, "I can see that it is a Runic artifact, but why not simply pick a hybrid artifact? You have the berserker aspect, and you do know that you cannot fight with the Runecaster aspect being active, it is not a battle-oriented aspect."

"It’s ok, this will do fine," stated Axel confidently.
