Fairy Tail Destiny-Chapter 113: Ch : The three who met
Chapter 113 - Ch 113 : The three who met
Wendy would never forget that day.
On July 7th, 777, the Dragon Grandine, who had been with her since she was little, disappeared like a whirlwind before Wendy's eyes.
She was left standing there alone, lost and confused.
Days passed, and Grandine never returned.
The girl, facing this situation for the first time, cried as she searched, but it was all in vain. "Grandine... wuwuwu..."
Wendy left her former 'home' with tears in her eyes, wandering through the unfamiliar forest.
The pillar she had relied on for so long had suddenly collapsed, and the impact on the young Wendy was something no one could understand.
She hoped it was just a nightmare, and maybe when she woke up, she would still hear that authoritative and gentle voice in her ears.
"Is something wrong?"
"Are you okay?"
Just when Wendy felt the most helpless, a gentle and calm voice, and a cool yet kind voice, both simultaneously reached Wendy's ears.
Wendy wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes, looked up, and saw a boy dressed in black clothes and white pants, with short blue hair and strange red patterns on his face.
He was holding a magical staff taller than himself, staring at her with curiosity.
But the owner of the other voice, Wendy could not find.
"I'm up here." The slightly hoarse but gentle voice came from above.
Wendy and the blue-haired boy both looked up, and sitting on the trunk of a large tree was a handsome golden-haired boy.
"She's gone... wuwu." After a brief moment of surprise, Wendy started crying again.
"Eh?" The golden-haired boy who had dropped down from the tree exchanged a puzzled glance with the blue-haired boy.
"Calm down, and tell us what happened," the golden-haired boy said, scratching his cheek, then gently patting Wendy's head as a gesture of comfort.
"Grandine... she's gone, wuwu."
Perhaps it was the warmth and kindness of the two boys, similar to Grandine's, that encouraged Wendy to start telling her story in a broken voice.
Gradually, with the comfort of the two boys, she calmed down.
"My name is Noel, Noel Rutherford. What about you?" The golden-haired boy said with a slight smile.
"Wendy... Wendy Marbell."
"Jellal Fernandes."
As if driven by an unknown fate, the boys and the girl met by chance.
In the next two months, the three decided to travel together.
After getting to know each other better, Wendy learned that Noel was a mage from a guild called "Fairy Tail" and that he was on a mission to find a medicinal herb.
Jellal, on the other hand, vaguely mentioned that he was a traveler who came from a distant homeland.
When the two heard that Wendy was a Dragon Slayer mage raised by a dragon named Grandine, they both showed surprised expressions.
"Grandine is a very, very big dragon~" Wendy said, stretching out her small arms and gesturing towards Noel and Jellal.
"A dragon, huh... I really want to meet one someday."
After listening to Wendy's story, both Noel and Jellal showed a hint of longing on their faces.
"Since Wendy was taught magic by a dragon, you must also have offensive magic, right?" Noel said.
"Eh?"
"You can try practicing, though I don't want Wendy to fight others. But having more power to protect yourself is still a good choice," Noel said, gently patting Wendy's head.
However, such days ended so suddenly.
"Is Noel leaving?" Wendy's voice trembled.
"Yeah, although I wish I could stay a little longer, I've already delayed for quite a while. If I don't go back now, the guildmaster and the others will start worrying," the golden-haired boy said with a bitter smile.
Wendy and Jellal fell silent.
They both knew that Noel had found the herbs needed for the task half a month ago, but he hadn't left because he was concerned about them.
They understood, and they also knew that delaying any further had already reached its limit.
"But... but I don't want to say goodbye to Noel," Wendy said softly.
"I'm really sorry, but don't worry, Wendy. As long as we hold each other in our hearts, no matter how far apart we are, we'll definitely meet again one day," Noel comforted, gently stroking Wendy's head, his voice soft.
"Take care," Jellal nodded.
He wasn't good at saying warm, affectionate words, so he could only offer that seemingly plain blessing.
"If you ever get into trouble, you can come find me at Fairy Tail," Noel said.
Although Wendy was extremely reluctant, she understood and could only wave goodbye to the golden-haired boy with tears in her eyes.
After that, only Wendy and Jellal remained in the team.
However, just two weeks later, even Jellal had to leave.
"No! Why is Jellal leaving too?" Wendy asked in confusion and fear.
"If you stay with me, you'll be in danger," Jellal said firmly.
"No! I want to go with you!" Wendy kept shaking her head.
"Beyond this forest, there's a guild. I'll leave you there for now..."
"No! Noel already left, and now you're leaving too, I don't want that!!" Wendy, who was usually very understanding, rare as it was, argued with Jellal this time, just so she wouldn't be left alone.
However, Jellal, who had already made up his mind, ultimately used magic to hypnotize Wendy, leaving her in the care of an elderly man, Roubaul, in a nearby village.
When Wendy woke up, she understood what had happened and quietly began to sob, "Noel... Jellal... please don't leave me here alone... sniff."
Wendy's tears left Roubaul, the elderly man with white hair, flustered, and he could only offer gentle words of comfort.
After crying for a while, Wendy ultimately accepted the reality.
She stayed in the guild called "Cait Shelter," became a mage, and later made a friend named Carla.
However, deep in Wendy's heart, the figures of the two young men remained deeply etched, never to be forgotten.
When she was sent on the mission to defeat the Oracion Seis, Wendy was initially very nervous, especially since she had arrived late.
But all her worries disappeared when she saw that familiar figure.
Although his hair color had changed, one of his eyes was covered with an eye patch, and his height had changed quite a bit, Wendy would never mistake him.
Because this person was the one she had missed day and night.
"Noel!!"
..............
"Does this mean that Noel lost his memory? Did he forget about Wendy?"
After hearing Noel's story about losing his memory, Wendy said with a hint of sadness.
Noel scratched his cheek, looking at Wendy's slightly dejected face, and apologized, "I'm sorry..."
"No, it's okay, it's not your fault. I'm just happy to see you again," Wendy said, showing a smile.
"Now, all the guilds are gathered," said Jura, his expression still unchanged as he spoke after Wendy and Noel had finished catching up.
"Are we really getting to the point this quickly?" Gray said, feeling speechless at Jura's rapid shift in mood.
Sherry, after giving Wendy a thorough look, spoke with some displeasure in her voice, "By the way... for such an important operation, they sent just a child? What is Cait Shelter thinking?"

"Ah, it's not just one person, you know, seductive onee-san," a somewhat proud voice replied, almost as if to counter Sherry's words.
Everyone turned their attention to the voice and saw a white cat dressed in fine clothes, speaking just like Happy, walking in with an arrogant expression.
"Cat?"
"Yeah!"
"Just like Happy!"
"It's talking!"
"Calling me seductive, that's too much!"
The surprised crowd spoke out one after another.
Seeing the white cat, Wendy was a little stunned. "Carla, did you come too?"
"Of course, how could I let you go alone? I can't be at ease," the white cat said, almost like a parent lecturing their child.
Suddenly, Noel felt something tugging at his leg.
Looking down, he saw Happy holding onto his pants, trying to get his attention.
"Noel, give my fish to that cat."
Noel blinked in confusion, a strange thought crossing his mind.
He quietly asked Happy, "Happy, did you fall in love with her at first sight?"
Upon hearing Noel's words, Happy fidgeted with his paws, looking a bit embarrassed, indirectly confirming Noel's guess.
"Well... I'm not good at fighting, but I can use a lot of support magic to help everyone. So please don't reject me." Wendy, feeling the gazes of so many people on her, hid behind Noel, nervously and shyly muttering.
Seeing Wendy's nervousness, Carla couldn't help but scold her, "It's because you're so timid that people look down on you."
"I'm sorry..."
"Stop apologizing right away!"
"I'm sorry..."
"There's no need to be that nervous, Wendy." Noticing Wendy's discomfort, Noel smiled gently.
"Everyone is just a bit surprised; it's not that they don't welcome you."
"Yeah, sorry for startled you a bit. Please cheer up, Wendy." Erza added kindly.
Seeing Erza, Wendy's face lit up with an adorable smile, and she whispered to Norl, "It's Big Sister Erza, the real person, Noel."
"She's better than I expected." Carla crossed her arms, showing a satisfied expression.
After the initial silence, everyone quickly became more lively.
Happy kept trying to impress Carla, though it seemed Carla wasn't interested.
Meanwhile, The Trimens started their usual antics, trying to entertain Wendy, while Ichiya and Jura were quietly chatting about something.
Natsu and Gray were exchanging complaints with each other.
"Alright, now that everyone's here, let's start discussing the battle plan against Oracion Seis. After all, they are one of the four pillars of the Balam Alliance, so we can't afford to be careless." As one of the two Saint Ten Mages present and one of the leaders of this operation, Noel clapped his hands twice, drawing everyone's attention.
Ichiya immediately ran to the front, struck a pose, and began, "I'll take over and explain. First, about the gathering place of the Oracion Seis..."
However, halfway through, Ichiya suddenly stopped, tossed out a quick remark, "I'll go to the restroom to check out the scent," and ran off.
"Hey, using 'scent' to describe going to the restroom?" Gray said, speechless.
Meanwhile, the members of the Blue Pegasus kept clapping, saying, "As expected of Ichiya-sama."
..........
A short while later, Ichiya returned and continued, "Head north from here, and you'll reach the dense and sprawling Worth Woodsea. The ancients sealed a powerful magic there, named Nirvana."
"Was that pose really necessary?" "Nirvana?" "I've never heard of that magic before."
"Noel ( Jura-san ), do you know about it?" Erza and Sherry turned and asked Noel and Jura.
"No, I've never heard of it either," Jura answered.
Noel shook his head, "I'm not sure either, but since neither Jura nor I have heard of it, it's probably an ancient magic that has been lost to time."
"Yes, as expected of Lord Noel. We only know that it's an ancient magic, a powerful destructive magic that the ancients had to seal. As for the exact nature of the magic, we don't know," the members of Blue Pegasus explained.
Natsu furrowed his brow. "Destructive magic?"
"I have a bad feeling about this," Lucy said, trembling with fear.
"Oracion Seis are gathering at Worth Woodsea is definitely to obtain Nirvana. To stop them, we must defeat the Oracion Seis," Ichiya and the other three members of Blue Pegasus struck a pose again.
"There are 13 of us, and two of us are Saint Ten Mages, while the enemy has only 6. But we can't underestimate them. These six are incredibly strong, after all, the Six member of Oracion Seis may not be as powerful as the Demon God's Soul, but they are still one of the four major forces of the Balam Alliance."
Next, Ichiya introduced the members of the Oracion Seis, and then he concluded, "In short, even though we have the advantage in combat power, we'll still go with the safest strategy. We'll locate their stronghold, and then leave the rest to our pride on the continent, the Pegasus, Christina, to destroy them completely."
"Is that a magic cannon ship?" Sherry asked in surprise.
Lucy, feeling some unease, said, "Speaking of which, is it really necessary to go that far against humans?"
"The opponents are not ordinary people. Listen carefully, even if a battle breaks out, don't face the enemy alone. There are 13 of us, and 6 of them. For each enemy, at least two people should team up," Jura said to everyone.
"Alright, I'm all fired up now!"
As soon as Jura finished speaking, Natsu's hands burst into flames, and excitedly, he smashed open the door and ran out, shouting, "Leave all 6 of them to me!"
Seeing this, the others could only helplessly follow after him, leaving only Noel, Ichiya, and Jura at the back.
"Well, the operation has started, so let's go as well. Noel-dono, Ichiya-dono," Jura said with a bitter smile.
"Mm, let's go," Noel replied.
