Fiancée Stolen by MC, I Trip Them up-Chapter 504 - 406: Archmage!
After the White Elephant shattered a peak of the Gods Mountain with one foot, the only one unaffected was the Blue Snake.
The Blue Snake seemed to have been aware of the White Elephant’s strength all along; its gaze remained fixed on the Divine Hall atop the restriction as the White Elephant broke through it.
"As expected, nothing appeared!"
The Blue Snake waited for a while but saw no appearance of the Law God from the Divine Hall, and suddenly it was invigorated.
When the other magical beasts heard what the Blue Snake said, they all came to their senses simultaneously.
The Gray Wolf could no longer concern itself with fear of the White Elephant and suddenly turned its head to look toward the Lifetime Mountain.
"It hasn’t appeared!" said the Gray Wolf excitedly, "Not a single Law God has come out; something has happened to Gods Mountain indeed."
The Black Eagle looked up at the mountain, flapping its wings excitedly.
"Who would have thought, who would have thought! Those Law Gods really have met with trouble, it’s simply unbelievable."
The only one who didn’t speak was the Golden Peacock.
Although it didn’t speak, its small mung bean eyes were also full of surprise.
Golden Peacock was extremely shocked in its heart: "Something really happened? It can’t be this accurate, can it? I was just saying it casually!"
At the same time, a hint of expectation arose in its heart.
If something truly happened to the Law Gods on the Gods Mountain, and it went up there to find a Rule Fragment, promoting itself to the position of Law God, it wouldn’t have to rely on those two anymore.
The Golden Peacock had been rampant in the Magic World for tens of thousands of years, and if not for the position of the Great Daoist Sage, how could it have subjected itself to others?
If it got the Rule Fragment of a Law God, not only would it not need those two, it might even retaliate.
Golden Peacock had sensed before that the person who wanted to be its master was actually only at the level of a Great Daoist Sage.
As long as it advanced to the rank of a Law God, it might have the strength to fight.
By then, who is the master might not be certain!
Thinking of this, the Golden Peacock hesitated no longer and, with a movement of its wings, instantly turned into a gust of wind heading toward the mountain.
The other magical beasts were caught off guard and immediately became furiously angry.
"Damn it!"
"Damn it!"
"Despicable!"
The Black Eagle reacted the fastest.
Seeing the Golden Peacock rushing up the mountain without a word, it cursed and then turned into a gale, chasing after it.
Although these magical beasts had similar strengths, there was a vast difference in speed.
The Black Eagle and the Golden Peacock were both birds naturally adept at flying; unleashing their full speed, they instantly left the other three magical beasts behind.
"Damn it!"
The Gray Wolf roared, furiously chasing after them.
The wolf’s speed was considered fast among magical beasts, but it still couldn’t match the two birds.
Just a few steps out, the Black Eagle had already reached the mountain.
As for the even faster Golden Peacock, its tail was nowhere to be seen by now.
The Gray Wolf was suddenly in a panic.
"Damn it!"
It’s one thing if there were no benefits on the mountain, but the current situation clearly indicated that something happened to those Law Gods.
Acting a moment earlier might mean collecting more treasures.
The Gray Wolf was ambitious, always wanting to claim the entirety of the Magic Continent.
To achieve all this, strength and wealth were required.
Without a doubt, the most valuable treasures on the entire Magic Continent were on the Gods Mountain.
Thinking of being late by just a step and having all the goods snatched by the Golden Peacock, its heart felt as if being cut by a knife, and it was filled with a gnawing hatred for the Golden Peacock.
"Damn plumed beast, if I catch you, I’ll tear you to shreds!"
The Gray Wolf cursed in its heart, accelerating by another notch.
As it was running, it suddenly felt a dark cloud floating overhead, and the sky suddenly darkened.
The Gray Wolf paused, instinctively looked up at the sky, then froze suddenly.
It was then it realized that what floated overhead wasn’t a cloud, but a gigantic White Elephant.
The White Elephant was over ten zhang tall in size, its massive body like a small mountain, feeling incredibly heavy with just a glance.
Yet, when it flew in mid-air, it was as light as a feather, seemingly weightless.
The Gray Wolf’s pupils shrank sharply: "Just how many tricks does this guy have hidden?"
No one answered its question.
Although the White Elephant was floating in the sky, its speed was not slow at all.
In the moment the Gray Wolf paused, the White Elephant had already caught up, almost on par with the Black Eagle, who had taken the lead.
The Blue Snake still hung on the White Elephant’s tusk.
It seemed extremely excited, its tail swaying incessantly in the air, creating a whooshing sound.
Seeing the White Elephant move away, the Gray Wolf suddenly had an epiphany, then reactively rushed toward the mountain top once again.
There were many treasures on the Gods’ Mountain, and the Golden Peacock wasn’t a particularly large magical beast.
Even if it stole, it couldn’t hide much.
But now the White Elephant was rushing up.
This colossal creature could swallow an entire palace in one bite.
Moreover, the Gray Wolf knew the White Elephant knew Spatial Magic.
If the White Elephant put all the mountain treasures in its spatial world, everyone else might cry their hearts out.
Thinking of this, the Gray Wolf didn’t hesitate any further, igniting its full potential, like a gray lightning bolt, shooting toward the mountain.
Soon, the Gray Wolf reached the mountain top.
As soon as it steadied itself, ready to seek the figures of the White Elephant and other magical beasts, suddenly it heard a loud noise from a palace ahead and to the side.
Then, a golden figure flew out of the palace.
The Gray Wolf paused, instinctively looking toward the golden figure.
Seeing it, it was greatly shocked.
The golden figure was none other than the Golden Peacock, the first to climb the mountain.
The Gray Wolf didn’t even have time to see who knocked the Golden Peacock away when violent magical fluctuations erupted from several other palaces.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
After three loud noises, the figures of the Black Eagle, Blue Snake, and White Elephant tumbled out of those three palaces.
Seeing this scene, the Gray Wolf’s eyebrows shot up, and its heart sank straight down.
This was the Gods Mountain, the residence of the gods’ palaces.
So, there was no doubt who injured these magical beasts.
Just as the Gray Wolf was thinking, a tall figure wearing Golden Battle Armor walked out from the palace the Golden Peacock flew out from.
The person’s figure was extremely tall, holding a huge battle-axe, with a face covered by a Golden Face Armor, making it hard to see the features, but his voice could be heard.
"We’ve been lying low for so many days, setting up an inescapable net, but who would’ve thought we’d catch just these few little fish, how disappointing!"
After the man in golden armor spoke, a hunched figure of a woman walked out from a black palace nearby, dressed in a black dress with a black cloak over it, speaking in a raspy and harsh voice.
"That person has never been wrong; since he said he’d seen those people appearing here, they will definitely come! Get rid of these guys first, then set up another trap, and just wait slowly."
The giant in the golden armor acknowledged with a sound and then looked toward the other palaces nearby.
"What are you still doing with the doors closed, get out quickly and help us repair the palaces!"
Upon hearing the man in golden armor, one after another, Law Gods of varying heights and builds, wearing various colored Magic Robes, walked out.
Seeing these Law Gods, the Gray Wolf’s legs gave out, unable to stand at all!
