Chapter 260 – Florida Man Registered His Teenage Daughter in Professional Martial Arts Tournament to Earn Money.
Airport, Orlando Realm
It had been a week since Filip and his crew had been staying in Leo's domain. Although they were scheduled to leave in 4 days, they extended their stay for a reason.
Filip, Andria, and three previous members already returned to his ship. A new team of five representatives replaced them and visited Leo's bookstore. Everybody also avoided the time chamber like a plague.
After taking turns and purchasing enough books, Filip and his crewmate decided to leave. They retrieved the rest of the soul stones from Leo and prepared to leave.
Leo stood on the airport runaway to send them off. Filip also extended his hand for a handshake.
"Thank you for everything, Sir Florida Man. We're indebted to you."
Leo glanced at Filip's hand. He calmly wore rubber gloves and shook Filip's hand.
"Please come again. Also, if possible, please tell the other earthlings that one of them is doing well on his own."
"I will. I'm sure everybody will be proud. Oh, by the way…"
Filip hesitated as he still had one doubt about Leo; He still hadn't learned the origins and the meaning of 'Florida'.
"Sir Florida Man. Could you tell me the meaning of 'Florida'?"
Leo shrugged, "It's a hometown of cultured people."
"A cultural place, I see."
Leo wryly smiled while he thought of stupid deeds that the local people had done in the past, such as breaking into a property and stealing valuables but forgetting his cell phone in the victim's house. This didn't include the daily news headlines in the local newspapers.
"Yes. A VERY cultural place for sure."
"I'm jealous. My home country has already forgotten about culture. They only pursue wealth and military might."
"…Just pass the sunshine law bill and your country will be very cultural."
"What's that?"
"Never mind."
Leo and Filip continued their small talk for a few minutes before the latter bid farewell and departed with his colleagues.
After Filip's group had left, Leo checked his current bank balance.
<Current Lifespan: 21,392,639 Years…>
Lifespan was no longer an issue anymore. Leo brightly grinned as he could splurge some to purchase top-graded motorhomes or RVs for the promising workers.
Moreover, it was about time for him to go back to the Fate Stadium. The mystic realm season was also on the schedule. Afterward, there was a marriage ceremony to worry about.
The schedule was packed. Leo deeply sighed as he would be busy again.
"Even after I've become a supreme expert, I still have to work… Anyway."
Leo returned to his domain. He planned to hold a meeting to select representatives for the next mystic realm expedition.
But as he left the shopping mall, a man from the Sixth Element Sect had been waiting for him outside.
Bao Xun politely bowed and greeted Leo.
"Greetings Lord Florida Man. I'm Bao Xun from the Sixth Element Sect. I have been waiting to meet you in person."
"…"
Leo sized up Bao Xun. He closed his eyes and stood still for five seconds. When Leo reopened his eyes, his demeanor toward Bao Xun changed. Instead of returning Bao Xun's greetings with respect, Leo snorted.
"What do you want?"
Bao Xun was taken aback. He thought that Leo was a reasonable man, not a rude or arrogant expert.
"T-This lowly mortal just wishes to learn from you."
"I don't accept disciples. If you wish to learn, go buy my books at the bookstore. I'm a busy man, so I'll take my leave now."
"W-Wait."
Leo didn't bother waiting for Bao Xun. He kicked the ground and vanished.
Bao Xun stood there, gazing at the empty air in front of him. He was confused as to why Leo avoided him.
"What did I do wrong?! Is he that arrogant? This is absurd!!"
.
.
WHOOSH
Leo reappeared on the parking lot building's rooftop. He let out a long sigh.
"Greedy bastard."
A minute earlier, Leo sank his consciousness to his dantian universe and ran a simulation combat mode against Bao Xun's shadow clones. He quickly defeated Bao Xun's clones 10,000 times and learned his characters.
Bao Xun was a master of assassination dao. His Qi was corrupted by yin Qi while his meridians and dantian were full of impurity due to the negative karma. This aroused Leo's suspicion.
Leo peeked deeper into Bao Xun's karma and learned of the ambition he had toward the Sixth Element Sect. It seemed that Bao Xun aspired to become the sect master and replace Tang Tian.
Although Leo never intended to intervene in the external affairs of other sects, he hated schemers and bootlickers the most. Bao Xun had some of their traits, which earned Leo's disgust.
"Instead of working hard and earning my recognition, he tries to take a shortcut to get ahead. He should have learned something from Tang Tian and others. Hah…"
Leo shook his head and proceeded to his bus. He needed to consult Esen regarding their marriage ceremony and the upcoming seasonal expedition.
.
.
Days passed by. It had been three months since the last seasonal mystic realm gates were opened. During this period, many events occurred, causing the majority of sects and clans to disband or dissolve.
The destruction of the Death Sword Sect, the Fatui Cult, and the Yan Clan caused a chain reaction on the mainland. Major cities and towns became lawless as cultivators no longer feared the law imposed by the royal family. Then, the repeated alien invasions terrorized the land, decreasing the local population by two-thirds.
Only one major organization survived the ordeal and stood strong – The Florida Domain. Although the Tang Clan, Amazonian Sanctuary, Sixth Element Sect, Life Sword Sect, and townsmen from nearby counties integrated into the domain.
As they gathered in one place, a new issue soon arose.
Leo stood on the mystic realm platform and adjusted its level and status.

The number of people who could join Leo's expedition rose to 10. Leo simply needed to select nine people to come with him.
Unfortunately, many representatives from various clans expressed their desire to take part in the expedition, especially the elders from the Life Sword Sect. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝓫𝓷𝓸𝒗𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝓶
Han Hao, Han Meng, Hua Jiashan, and Tiger Swordsman were the teams that aimed to join Leo even though they had another portal at their old sect. The Tang Clan, Amazonian Sanctuary, and Sixth Sword Sect were also the same. However, they chose not to go home and begged to join Leo instead.
This troubled him. Since so many people wished to participate, Leo asked Ivy for assistance.
Ivy immediately suggested an internal tournament to select the domain's representatives, to which Leo agreed. An odd tournament was abruptly initiated.
The tournament lasted three days. During this time, Tang Xuan and Tang Tian never came out of their seclusion. Gao Yan and Jin Yong were also injured, so they didn't participate. Esen, Ivy, Marc, and Beatrice weren't interested in the expedition, so they forfeited their rights to join.
In the end, it became a fight between the elders of the Life Sword Sect, the Tang Clan, and the Sixth Element Sect. After the dust settled, an unlikely winner emerged.
The winner was the underdog, who was also the mascot of Leo's domain.
On the training field's arena, the final round of the tournament had been concluded. Two fighters were on the platform, but one was on his knees. The victor stood triumphant, but she seemed unfazed by the workout.
The referee was none other than Leo. He deeply sighed while he announced the result.
"WINNER BY SUBMISSION, CAT!!"
The young dark elf pouted and looked around. She was dying to get some food.
"Nom-Nom Meow?" (Can I go eat now?)
Leo rolled his eyes and tossed a piece of mad cow's meat into her mouth. Cat transformed her head into a chomper plant and swallowed the large chunk of one-ton shoulder meat whole.
After feeding the winner, Leo gazed at the second place. He bitterly laughed at the dark horse.
"I thought you would have won there, Ricardo."
Ricardo in his human form mumbled in embarrassment.
"Smash…" (I thought my cultivation base was superior to hers and this would have been an easy win. I guess I was conceit.)
"It's fine. It's just that Cat is kinda… unique."
Although Cat had recently ascended and become an immortal, she inherited some of Leo's original power, which gave her an edge over the other contestants.
Leo glanced at Cat who already left the arena and was in the middle of sprinting toward the nearest granary for more food. He noticed how her three dao avatars hurried and followed after their master.
One was the spirit of a dryad woman. Another one was a man-eating chomper plant. As for the last one, it was a man with Leo's face.
One of Cat's daos was an overpowered guy!
Leo massaged his forehead. He had a feeling that Cat should be added to the main combat force soon.
