Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 251: My two prisoners...
Theo’s POV:
Cynthia was furious at me even though I managed to send off the troops from the island without having to battle with them. But I could care less about her now—as she is not even on my side.
I ignored her completely and went to the dungeon of the Sapphire castle, where I had my two important prisoners. The lame prince was laying down on the stony ground of the dungeon.
He was wearing the same robe that he wore on the day of battle. His golden coloured robe and armour were now condensed with mud and dirt. The once handsome prince is now a pauper! And this pauper seriously needs a bath. I had to hold my breath as the toxic smell from his cell was unable to take in.
He didn’t notice my presence at first. Once he saw me, he jolted back to his feet and his gaze toughened up.
"Silver Shadow... you can’t trap me in this dungeon forever! My father won’t let you get away with this—"
Sometimes I get saddened just by looking at him. This man is more than a thousand years old, still he relies on his father for everything!
"I am sorry to break this out to you, Prince...." I grunted. "Even your father won’t be able to save you from here. The only one who can rescue you is Dawn—but unfortunately even she doesn’t seem to care much about you. So get ready to spend your eternity here—"
After that, I walked away from his cell. Poor Darius was now banging the rods of the cell with his fist. He is already rotting down here, and now he is going to hurt his hands too! Anyway, it is his choice to be a complete idiot; who am I to stop him?
I went to the edge of the dungeon, which was darker than the rest of the regions. Just a single fire torch was lit up on the corner of the stony wall. I didn’t want the lovely Lilin to sleep on the cold surface like Darius. So I made her lie down on the mattress.
I thought that Lilin was asleep—as the Unicorn’s blood is supposed to keep in slumber for at least two days. But she fluttered her eyelashes open and gave me a mini heart attack.
"Lilin, my darling," I breathed out and tried to bring my pulse back to normal. "I never knew that you were awake—"
"I woke up yesterday night itself," she said and got up from the mattress.
I was puzzled. Even after she woke up, she didn’t try to attack me or run away from here?!
She placed her bare feet on the cold surface and stepped closer to me. The faint yellow light from the single fire torch that was behind her was not enough to show off her facial expression to me.
"You must be thinking why I am not attacking you yet, isn’t it?" she asked me and confused me even more.
"Yes, my darling! Why are you not attacking me? Is it because you are..." I paused and smiled at her. " You are still in love with me, aren’t you?"
"Nonsense," she shouted out. "You betrayed me multiple times, and you expect that I would still be in love with you?"
"Oh, dear! It is disappointing to know that you are over me already," I mocked her.
She shook her head in disbelief. "I didn’t fight with you because I know that there won’t be a victor when two Anti-Angels fight with each other—"
"Interesting! Then tell me why you didn’t escape from here?"
"How can I leave when you are going to kill my ex-lover and burn down his land? I won’t let you do that!"
I was in a normal mode until she reminded me about that creature of lust. After that, my temper started souring up.
"Your ex-lover instructed his men to harm my love! I will definitely have to burn their lands, or else they might try to do something like this again—"
"No, they won’t," she argued. "I promise you that Aaron will never repeat his mistakes again. So can you just forgive him?"
"Oh, honey," I sighed out. "You know that it is impossible for me to forgive someone. And you think that I will forgive a man who tried to hurt my love? Never—"
"So you are seriously going to burn Ashland? But not all of them tried to hurt Celestia. It was just Aaron, and you are so unfair to punish an entire Kingdom for that!"
"And you get to talk about what is fair?" I chuckled slightly. "You had me chained in a cavern when my love was getting burned in the Holy fire. You stopped me from saving the love of my life! Did you think about fairness at that moment? No, you didn’t—"
She looked away from me as she got consumed by the guilt.
"And just like that, you are going to watch your lover getting burned down by my wrath," I added.
"No......" she screamed out. "Theodore, please let him go! Please!!! I am begging you—"
"Again, Lilin! Did you listen to me when I pleaded with you to release me? No, you didn’t—"
"Okay then!" she gritted her teeth. " I really didn’t want to battle with you, but you gave me no other choice. I am going to leave now—but if you dare to show up in Ashland, then you will have to face my wrath too—"
I immediately held her hand even before she could disintegrate from the spot. "Lilin, dear! I never gave you permission to leave this land. You are still my prisoner, honey—"
She tried to free her hand from my grip, but I was stronger than her. "Theodore, let... me... go... now."
"Why would I let you go, honey? You are going to be here until your lover, and the Ashland turns into ashes—"
Then I opened my sheath and took out a tiny needle that was presoaked in Unicorn’s blood. I injected the needle in her arm and made her scream out loud.
