Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 295: A man’s desire
Edwin’s POV:
"But... but... by hurting your daughter are you trying to discipline her?" I asked while trembling internally.
The King’s blue eyes glittered in amusement. "Exactly, boy! I am trying to discipline her here. Just tell me how my naive daughter will understand that she should not give in to her inner womanly desire?! She will never stop desiring that trickster until she is disciplined in some way. And tell me how can I make her hate men?! She will hate men only when she is wronged by them physically. Once she is abused physically, then she will totally get disgusted by the sensual pleasures—and she will finally focus on serving the people in this realm—"
The King beamed as if he had said a very noble thing while I was trying hard to not throw up before them. So is this the true face of Oberon?! Is he actually a psychopath in the mask of a noble man?!
"Now tell me, Edwin," he went on. "Since you love her, you will be fine with taking her body too! You will finally get to fulfill your thirst for her—and in the meantime, you will be eradicating the thirst of the Dawn entirely for good. I want you to wreck her so badly that she will never ever desire for another man again—"
How can I tell him that I am actually in love with Celestia and I have never even thought about it that way?! I can never do that to her or I won’t even let anyone else harm her that way. But this man is the King and I am a servant. I am supposed to follow everything that he says! What am I going to do now?! Then a good idea popped up in my mind.
"Your majesty, I don’t think that I can do this because I can’t touch the Dawn. No one else can touch the Dawn so I don’t think anyone will be able to do that—"
The King shook his head. "Not for so long! I have found a way to break off that spell. And you are only going to touch her after that—"
"But how?" I asked in surprise.
"You will see that soon," he answered and disappointed me. "For now I want your approval. Are you agreeing to this or not?"
I can’t say no to this. If I do, then I am pretty sure that the King would make someone else do this deed. And I can’t let this happen to Celestia. I should protect her from this man. So it is better if I just agree to do this for now and find a solution for this later. It was kinda strange when I realized that I would have to protect Celestia from her own father!
I took a deep breath and said, "Your highness, I agree to the deal. I will do my best in taming the Dawn."
An evil grin formed on his lips. "I know that you will agree to this! After all, you desire her so much, don’t you?"
I just nodded blanky without giving him a reply. Maybe Silver Shadow is not a Villain at all. No matter how cruel he is, he would never let anything bad happen to Celestia. He was the one who saved Celestia from the Incubus, while this man is keen on harming his own daughter!
"Fine!" the Fae King said. "Now I am going to give you another task."
I shuddered internally. What task is he going to give me next? Should I have to kill myself?!
"This is not a task for you. It is going to be an opportunity—"
"An opportunity?!"
"Yes," he nodded. "You are going to be the lucky one to witness the beginning of the destruction era with your own eyes—"
"Destruction era?" I almost screamed. "What is a destruction era?"
"You will see that tomorrow," he just chucked. "And you can leave the chamber for now. I need to have a word with my friend—"

Once the Fae King dismissed the traumatized Edwin from his chamber, he turned to the beautiful Serpent girl who was beaming at him. He liked her so much. Not many girls had succeeded in winning his heart—but this girl had done the impossible. He knew how dangerous she was. She had killed countless people with her venom. She could easily destroy him too. But it didn’t bother him at all.
All he wanted to do was have her at least for a night—but this girl is very stone-hearted. She had rejected his offer every time! Yet, the Fae King knew that she would have to give in to him eventually. No woman had succeeded in resisting him so far.
He had even managed to seduce the stubborn Siren girl Sapphire. Oberon’s senses got elated just by thinking about her. He would never forget the one incredible night he had with her. It was the best sex he had ever had and the worst mistake he had ever made. Yet, he can’t forget that wonderful time with that Siren girl. And he thought that he would have the same experience with this Serpent girl. If only she would offer herself to him!
"Your highness," she addressed him. "Are you sure that we can trust him?"
"Yes, we can," Oberon said. "He is the most loyal servant!"
"But he loves Celestia! And he might betray us to save her—"
"No, he won’t!"
"How can you be so sure?!"
Oberon smirked. "Why do you think that I am offering Celestia to him?"
"Because you want to tame your daughter?"
"Not exactly! I am securing his loyalty to me by giving him what he really wants—"
The Serpent girl was impressed by his answer while the King beamed at her. Little did he know that not all men desire the same thing as him.
"I am really impressed by you," the girl said and moved near the King. She then wrapped her arm around his neck and looked up at his blue eyes. The King couldn’t believe what was happening! Finally, he is getting the meal that he wished to eat for so long!
