Purple said, “It’s safer for us to avoid the Howard Family. Damian might be using Mr. Ghost Hayes to lure you out. If we can find him, good; if not, it doesn’t much affect us…”

Alexander smiled casually.

Purple pinched him again, “Stop fooling around! I’m being serious here! Damian might be waiting for you to show up. You’re not allowed to wander off by yourself or act on your own during this time, and you’re not allowed to have Zack Wallace stir up trouble with the Howards. “How do you know?” Purple asked, surprised, and recalling the grudges between Alexander and Damian, she couldn’t help but ask, “Have you recovered your memory?”

Alexander shook his head: “Zack told me about Damian’s situation no fewer than eight times. My ears are practically calloused from it. I don’t need my memories back to guess what he’s up to.”

“So, what is Damian trying to do?” Purple was puzzled, “Mr. Ghost Hayes only knows some rituals, and Damian is living just fine…”

“Probably not that fine,” Alexander smiled, “Waking up from a vegetative state, wanting to live like a normal person, is very difficult.”

In movies and TV series, people awake from vegetative states and live like normal people—eating, drinking, shopping—but that’s just impossible in reality.

Only severe brain injuries can result in a vegetative state, and with such a crucial part sustaining damage, how could one wake up without any issues?
