Chapter 327: Yuri’s Reaction

Yuri did not sleep properly that night.

Not because she was partying.

Not because she was excited.

Because she was scared.

The album had dropped and Dayo did not promote it the way people usually did. No countdown. No long captions. No interviews. No fifteen posts a day. Just a simple announcement and silence.

And the post was a day before the album was released she was scared cause this was the first song she would be involved in.

Yuri kept refreshing Melon like her life depended on it.

At first, the numbers loaded slowly, then the page hung, then her phone said network error, and she nearly threw it away out of frustration.

She told herself to calm down.

It was her first real feature.

Her first time being attached to something that big.

And the fear was simple and ugly.

What if it flops.

What if people hate her voice.

What if she becomes the weak link everyone blames.

Her friend, Hana, had been trying to distract her all evening, dragging her from one conversation to another, but Yuri’s smile was fake and thin.

Even when she laughed, her heart still shook.

By the time she finally got home, it was late.

She kicked off her shoes, dropped her bag, and sat on the edge of her bed like she had been running.

She told herself, one last refresh.

Just one.

The page loaded.

And her brain went blank for a second.

The album was everywhere.

Not just charting.

Dominating.

Tracks were climbing in real time. Her name was on the credits. Her name was sitting beside Dayo’s like it belonged there.

Yuri’s mouth opened but no sound came out.

Then she screamed.

A sharp, high sound that scared even her.

Hana rushed in from the living room. "What happened"

Yuri couldn’t even answer. She just shoved her phone forward with shaking hands.

Hana read for two seconds, then her eyes widened.

"What the hell"

Yuri nodded like she was begging the world to confirm it was real.

Hana started laughing. "I told you. I told you. That man is not normal."

Yuri stared down at the screen again. The comments were already flooding in.

People were quoting her lines.

People were typing her name.

People were asking who she was.

She scrolled and her breathing got heavier.

Then she saw it.

Her own profile.

Her own page.

Followers jumping like it was a broken counter.

Messages stacked so fast she could not even open them.

Mentions everywhere.

Someone had clipped her verse already. Someone had posted it. People were using it as sound.

Yuri covered her mouth with her palm.

Her eyes burned.

She started crying before she even understood why.

Hana sat beside her and pulled her into a hug.

"You did it," Hana whispered.

Yuri shook her head. "No. He did it. He carried all of us."

Hana pulled back. "Stop that. You sang. You showed up. You did your part."

Yuri looked back at the phone again, then whispered, "I am not invisible."

Hana smiled. "Not anymore."

Yuri stayed awake until morning, not because she wanted to, but because her mind refused to stop.

The next day, she dressed carefully.

She wore something simple, but neat. She tied her hair back. She carried a gift bag with both hands like it was fragile.

The bag was not expensive.

It was personal.

A small handwritten note.

A simple bracelet she had bought weeks ago but never found the courage to give him.

She took a deep breath before entering the building.

The moment she stepped inside, she felt the difference.

People recognized her.

Not everyone.

But enough.

A few staff glanced at her twice. A few whispered. A few smiled politely like they already knew who she was.

Her heart raced again.

Then someone guided her to Dayo’s office.

When the door opened, she saw him.

Dayo was on the phone, standing by the window, calm as always.

Min Jae was inside too, leaning against the couch with his arms folded, smirking at something on his phone.

Jang Wook sat at the table with a laptop open, eyes sharp, fingers moving like he was already ten steps ahead.

Yuri froze at the doorway.

Dayo turned and saw her.

He ended the call quickly and walked toward her.

"Yuri," he said.

Just her name. Simple. Warm.

And it nearly broke her.

Yuri bowed quickly. "Thank you. I just... I needed to come."

Min Jae laughed softly from the couch. "She looks like she is about to cry again."

Yuri shot him a weak glare. "I am not crying."

Jang Wook did not look up, but his voice carried calm amusement. "You cried last night."

Yuri blinked. "How do you know"

Min Jae raised his phone. "Because your face was all over the fan clips. You were trending with your own crying screenshots."

Yuri’s cheeks burned.

Dayo smiled, took the gift bag gently from her hands, then gestured for her to sit.

"Calm down," he said. "You did well."

Yuri sat slowly, still holding her breath like she was scared the moment would disappear if she breathed too hard.

She finally let out the words.

"I was scared," she admitted. "You did not even promote it properly. I thought maybe it would flop."

Dayo’s eyes softened. "Promotion is good, but it is not always what makes people stay. If the music hits, it hits."

Yuri nodded slowly, still overwhelmed.

Then she looked down. "My pages... they are blowing up. I do not know how to handle it."

Min-Jae finally looked up. "We handle it. We already have a team schedule for you."

Yuri blinked. "Schedule"

Min Jae grinned. "Welcome to the new life."

Yuri took a breath, then stared at Dayo again. "I really cannot thank you enough."

Dayo shook his head. "You earned your moment. Do not make it smaller than it is."

Yuri swallowed hard.

She felt proud.

And terrified.

At the same time.

Before she could say anything else, Dayo’s phone rang again.

He glanced at the caller ID and sighed like the universe was not allowing him rest.

He picked up.

"Valery."

The voice on the other side came fast, half laughing, half annoyed.

"Dayo you are killing me."

Dayo leaned back against the edge of the table, calm. "What did I do again"

"You dropped an album in Korea like it was nothing," Valery said. "I listened to it, and I am not even joking, it is insane."

Min Jae muttered under his breath, "Of course it is."

Valery continued, "I know you can speak Korean, but the way you sang, the way you flowed, the pronunciation, the confidence. People here are shocked. Even your own staff here are asking if you are secretly Korean."

Dayo smiled slightly. "That is good. How are things on your side"

Valery paused, then said, "Movie is still moving well. We are finalizing the next promotion push, but I need to ask. Are you trying to start another wave again without warning anybody"

Dayo’s voice stayed smooth. "We move when the door is open. That is all."

Valery sighed. "Fine. I will update you on the United States numbers soon. Give me a bit. Today is chaotic."

"No problem," Dayo replied. "Keep me posted."

He ended the call and looked back at the room.

Yuri was still sitting there, listening like she was trying to memorize every word.

Min Jae looked amused, like he enjoyed watching the world react to Dayo.

Jang Wook was already scrolling through a document, business mode again.

Dayo sat down finally.

"Alright," he said. "We need to talk about what comes next."

Yuri straightened immediately. She knew this meeting was not just for them.

It was for her too.

Jang Wook spoke first, practical as always. "The album is hot. The movie is still hot. If we move correctly, we can stack both without burning out the audience."

Min Jae nodded. "A quick run. Nothing too big. Just enough to feed the fans and keep the wave alive."

Yuri looked between them. "A run"

Dayo glanced at her. "A mini tour."

Her eyes widened . "Tour"

She never imagine herself touring after all it took time and effort to tour. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Min Jae grinned. "Do not worry. You are not doing a hundred shows. Just a few dates. Controlled. Clean."

Jang Wook slid the laptop slightly so they could all see.

"Korea first," he said. "Short. Five to seven days. One main show in Seoul, then one symbolic stop in Busan. Maybe one more city if the schedule allows."

Yuri’s heart started racing again.

She wanted to look confident.

But the truth was, she had never imagined herself standing on stage beside someone like Dayo this soon.

Dayo watched her expression and spoke gently.

"You can do it," he said. "You already did the hardest part. You delivered when it mattered."

Yuri nodded slowly. "I am ready."

Min Jae raised an eyebrow. "Look at that. She is brave now."

Yuri rolled her eyes. "I was always brave."

Min Jae laughed.

Jang Wook continued, "We also use the tour to push the movie. Fans who come for the album will remember the film again. Fans who came for the film will give the album a chance. We make it one ecosystem."

Dayo nodded once. "We keep it simple. We keep it fast. We do not stretch it too long."

Yuri finally asked the question sitting in her chest.

"And after Korea"

Jang Wook answered, "Two countries max. Japan and China, or Japan and another premium location. Short. Ten days total if we add Asia."

Min Jae leaned forward. "But Korea first. That is where the fire is burning right now."

Dayo’s gaze settled. Calm. Focused.

"Good," he said. "Then that is the plan. Korea showcase run. Tight dates. High energy. No unnecessary noise."

Yuri looked down at her hands.

This was happening.

Her life had shifted overnight.

She lifted her head again.

"If we do this," she said softly, "I will not disappoint you."

Dayo smiled. "That is all I need."

Jang Wook closed the laptop. "Then we start preparing immediately."

Min Jae stretched like he was ready for war. "This is going to be fun."

Yuri took a deep breath.

Fear was still there.

But now, it had something else beside it.

Excitement.

And purpose.

The meeting ended with Dayo standing up, steady as always.

"Rest today," he said. "We move soon."

And Yuri finally understood something she had been too scared to believe.

This was not just a feature.

This was her entry.

And it had already begun.
