"I know you meant well. Tu Zhu’s strength is impressive, and mating with him would have more pros than cons. Just as it was about to engulf them, Sang Luo flipped over, swiftly conjuring a Thunder Ball in her hand and striking the dark shadow.

WHOOSH— The tentacle-like shadow instantly receded like a tidal wave. Seizing the opportunity, she pressed her attack, hurling another Thunder Ball toward the door.

With a bloodcurdling scream, the fake Beastman collapsed in the doorway, transforming into a giant, pitch-black centipede!

The commotion brought other Beastmen rushing over from nearby. Thinking a pregnant female had been harmed, they had already alerted the Clan Leader and several Elders.

They saw the corpse of a low-rank Insect Beast in the doorway, the Power of thunder and lightning still crackling within its wounds.

Then, all eyes fell on Sang Luo as she stepped out.

"Our tribe has a few females with high Fertility who’ve mated with High Rank Beastmen and gained a portion of their mate’s Talent Power, but very few can use it this well!" ’She’s practically on par with a real High Rank Beastman!’

Duoji’s face went pale. "Luoluo, you saved my life and my child’s!" Being quick-witted, she instantly understood. Sang Luo must have realized something was wrong long ago, which was why she had insisted on staying the night.

Pamir was overcome with fear and concern for her. He resigned from his post in the Hunting Team, vowing to stay by Duoji’s side for the time being.

The Clan Leader and the Elders were furious. A member of the Insect Clan had infiltrated the Thousand Elephant Tribe! They ordered a thorough investigation.
