Game in Marvel-Chapter 190
Chapter 190: 190
"Is it done?"
"Eredin’s in chains," Liam said flatly.
Steve stared. "You okay?"
Liam didn’t answer.
Triss stood up and walked toward him, her voice trembling. "Liam... Ciri—"
"I know," he cut in.
She flinched at his tone. The room tensed.
Tony crossed his arms.
"We’re all hurting, man. You’re not the only one who cared."
This sent a silence across the room with small swirling sounds coming out of medical room as Vesemir was being tended to. The death of Elie had hit him hard and everyone could tell that Liam had taken a great leap in his ability to manipulate mana, but nobody had the mood to speak about it.
Vesemir was badly hurt and Ciri’s power had gone haywire. Triss and others after returning knew where Ciri was and they left immediately for the Sanctum Santorum. Geralt didn’t have that high of a patience like Liam, nor did the others.

Three Days Later
Somewhere in Upstate New York – Liam’s Farmhouse
The sky was clear. A breeze rolled gently over the grasslands surrounding the farmhouse Liam had recently purchased—an old colonial-style house with white walls, creaking porches, and wide, open land as far as the eye could see. It was peaceful here. Too peaceful. Just the way Liam liked.
Liam stood in the middle of the field behind the house, a single slab of polished blackstone lying at his feet. The others gathered quietly in a semicircle behind him
The tombstone had only a few words carved onto it, glowing faintly with runes that shimmered like tearstains under the sunlight.
Here Lies ElieBeloved Friend, Loyal Heart, Eternal Flame
Beneath it, no body. Just soil. Just memory.
Liam stared at it, fingers still brushing over the fresh etchings, a hint of golden energy lingering in his hand. Even magic couldn’t bring back what he’d lost.
"I couldn’t save her," he whispered—not to anyone in particular.
"She saved you," Yennefer said softly. "She was brave until the end."
Ciri stood to the side, wrapped in a long coat, her platinum hair tied back. Her presence was calm now. The Ancient One was finally able to calm her down but she did say that her power might have an affect in the multiverse.
"I’m sorry I couldn’t... I wasn’t strong enough to protect her." Ciri’s eyes were a bit watery. For her so many people were hurt. Even now, Vesemir was absent. He was still in coma and the main problem stemmed from the fact that he couldn’t just normal blood after losing so much blood.
He would take time to recover and only he could do so, thanks to his witcher blood.
From the porch, Yinsen gave a sad smile.
"In my ancestral place, we honor the lost by building something in their memory. Something that lasts."
"I will. A sanctuary. One day." Liam placed his hand on the tombstone again and whispered a small incantation. From the earth, blooming slowly, came a ring of flowers—golden lilies, blue roses, and bright sun-hued tulips. All infused with magic. Ever-blooming.
Everyone stayed there for a while longer, watching the petals move with the wind. No one rushed to leave. Because sometimes, even in a world of monsters, magic, and mayhem, the smallest life left the biggest mark.

Later That Evening – Inside the Farmhouse Living Room
The sun had dipped below the horizon, casting a warm amber hue across the windows. Inside, the fireplace crackled softly. A simple dinner had been laid out. Liam had hand made the food, with the help of Ciri and Triss. Triss loved cooking unlike Yen and thus she helped the duo. Of course, the cooking was done in silence.
Vesemir had been moved to this place just like others and in the afternoon he actually woke up. This again proved how powerful the bodies of witchers were. But there was a downside. He had lost his one leg as they couldn’t be fixed since his part got necrotic thanks to the frost attack. Everyone were very unhappy about it but Tony had promised that he would be make the best prosthetic leg got Vesemor made of Vibranium, much more powerful than his other current leg.
"You should rest." Ciri stepped in and sat at the edge of his bed, placing a hand gently over his.
"I’ve rested enough," Vesemir rasped. "Time we all said what we’ve been thinking."
"We’re tired," he said. "All of us. How many wars? How many near-deaths? We keep fighting, like it’s the only thing we’re good at. But maybe... maybe it’s time we stop." Vesemir continued.
"I’ve been thinking the same. This world’s strange, sure, but it’s also... calm. No Wild Hunt. No Kings ordering executions. Just... normal people trying to live." Geralt said as he took a chug of the wine.
"Well, some normal people," Lambert muttered, as he looked at Tony and Yinsen cleaning the dishes.
"I’m with Vesemir," said Eskel. "This fight... it’s not ours anymore. Not like it used to be."
"We’ve always talked about what life after the war might look like. Maybe this is it. A chance to live without looking over our shoulders." Yennefer added.
"And I wouldn’t mind getting my own tower again. In this world, I could have wi-fi and a library." Keira gave a small smile. By now, she had already learnt some buzzwords and had long decided to move here.
"Not a bad deal," Triss added with a gentle laugh.
All eyes turned to Liam, who hadn’t said a word.
He took a deep breath, then met their gazes one by one.
"I won’t ask you to stay in my world," he said softly. "But if you choose to, you won’t be alone. This land... it’s more chaotic, yeah. But it’s also full of opportunity. Of peace. If you want to stay, I’ll help you find a life here."
Geralt stood up and looked out the window toward the field where Elie’s tombstone stood.
"I’ve always followed the Path," he said. "But maybe it’s time I choose my own."
