Game Invasion Era: Rise from Binding the Goblin King!-Chapter 129: Obtaining the Crafted Relic, the Third Layer of the Obsidian Shrine
"Two classes?" Orion glanced at Ares in the distance and asked quietly, "Do you think that guy could kill the boss of the second layer?"
Mira thought for a moment, then shook her head. "Probably not. The Golden Flame Dragon is strong, but it’s not a match for so many Obsidian Wraiths."
She had seen the Golden Flame Dragon’s power. If it was the Obsidian Wraiths from the first layer, maybe it could handle them. But the ones in the second layer were level 50, and there were over a thousand of them. Definitely not a match.
"That’s good. Go back and wait," Orion said without thinking more. He went to the shrine exit and waited quietly for George to appear.
...
At the same time, inside the shrine, a few figures flashed around. Powerful skills were used one after another, blasting a huge Obsidian Wraith with everything they had.
The boss of the second layer, a 50-level Obsidian Wraith with a stage of SSR.
The Obsidian Wraith boss roared loudly, but it had no way to fight back. It was completely beaten by Constantine and the others.
Soon, its HP was gone. The huge Obsidian Wraith crashed to the ground with a loud noise.

[Dropped: Crafted Relic x2, Obsidian Shard x20]
The message flashed. George was happy. The boss of the Obsidian Wraith had indeed dropped the Crafted Relic.
But besides the Crafted Relic and the Obsidian Shards, there were no other materials. Not even any weapons or armor.
George had killed thousands of Obsidian Wraiths, but only got Obsidian Shards. It seemed these monsters didn’t drop weapons or armor.
His main goal was to get the Crafted Relic, so he didn’t care.
George picked up the two black stones the size of fists and looked them over curiously.
[Crafted Relic: SSS-tier item, filled with divine power, specific effects unknown]
No explanation of what it did.
"Eliex, is this it?" George asked curiously.
"Yes," Eliex nodded. "Your Majesty, the materials are all here. I can start making the attribute fusion pill after we return."
"Good." George happily took it. He cleaned up the battlefield and even took the body of the Obsidian Wraith boss.
This was the second layer of the Obsidian Shrine. Was there a third layer?
It was hard to get in here. George wasn’t in a hurry to leave. He said, "Let’s look around and see if there are any other passages."
"Yes." The others agreed and started searching in the open plain.
"Master, there’s a passage here. Do you think it leads to the third layer of the shrine?" Elise called from far away.
George and the others flew over quickly.
On the grassy ground, a deep and dark passage was hidden.
"It should be. Constantine, can you get through?" George looked at Constantine, whose body was as big as a mountain. This small cave wouldn’t fit.
"No problem," Constantine said. His body glowed and quickly shrank in size.
"Can you change size too?" George was surprised.
He knew the Golden Flame Dragon could change size, but he didn’t expect Constantine could too.
"Your Majesty, you’re too small-minded. I’m a False God-level powerhouse. Changing size isn’t hard," Constantine said, annoyed.
"Why do you always stay as big as a mountain?" George asked, confused. In his opinion, being that big was inconvenient. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
"Power," Constantine said simply.
Elise and the others snorted in response.
George said, "Try to be smaller in front of me from now on."
"Why?" Constantine asked, confused.
"I don’t want to look up at you," George said, frowning as he looked at the huge thing still over three meters tall.
Constantine scratched his head. He realized it was a bit rude to always look down on his master.
"Your Majesty, I’ll go ahead and scout," he said, then stepped into the deep tunnel.
George and the others followed closely.
The tunnel was deep but not complicated. Just keep moving forward, and there were no monsters around.
Soon, a light appeared in the distance—the exit of the passage.
Constantine sped up.
The view suddenly opened up. Just like the first and second layers of the shrine, this was also a plain. But it looked more barren, covered in weeds and rocks. Not far away, a group of Obsidian Wraiths were wandering around.
Level 55 Obsidian Wraiths.
Sure enough, their level had gone up, and there were over two thousand of them.
But they were still easy to deal with.
"Quick work," George ordered. His group immediately rushed forward.
Constantine went first. He quickly grew bigger, as tall as a mountain. The Obsidian Wraiths looked like kids next to him.
Boom!
His war hammer hit, and one Obsidian Wraith exploded in pieces. Instant kill.

[Dropped: Obsidian Shard x4]
...
The messages kept coming. George leaned back on a big rock, relaxed. Elise and Lilia stood quietly beside him, not really into fighting.
Boom, boom...
The sounds of explosions kept going. More and more Obsidian Wraiths were killed. Soon, they attracted the boss of this area.
A 55-level Obsidian Wraith, with a stage of SSR.
"This one’s mine," Eliex said, eyes on the boss.
"Okay, the next boss is mine," Constantine didn’t even argue. He turned and killed the other Obsidian Wraiths.
"Huh?" George blinked, surprised. "Since when did this guy get so easy to get along with?"
"Because he’s got a taste of the bait," Elise explained. "Eliex said he’d help make an artifact-grade war hammer. The guy got bought."
"Artifact-grade war hammer?" George was surprised, but he thought about Eliex’s skills. Making one wasn’t that hard.
Last time, the guy used ten SS-tier boss corpses and a sword core to make a Semi-Relic. It was a one-time use, and it broke after they opened the hidden shrine.
George had a lot of materials on him, plus that black divine bone. Making an artifact-grade weapon wasn’t impossible.
"Can he actually make a God-Making weapon?" Lilia hadn’t been with Eliex for long, and she didn’t know his skills. Hearing he could make a God-Making weapon, she got a little excited.
Even Elise looked a bit jealous.
George knew what the two were thinking. He nodded and said, "I’ll let him make one for you two later."
"Master, I want a longbow. I feel like I’m about to awaken a new ability," Elise said, looking hopeful.
Last time, after fusing the Elven Legacy, she reached SSS stage and had a feeling she was starting to get the talents of an Archer.
"Can you get a second class?" George asked, surprised. He had never seen a boss with two classes before.
"Yes," Elise nodded. "But this isn’t really a second class. Elves are naturally connected to nature. They already have control over elements and bow skills."
"Angels are the real natural gifts," Lilia said, not happy with what she heard.
Elise gave her a look, but she had no way to argue.
The angel race had many divine-level strong people, but the elf race only had the first elven queen become a god. After that, there were no more divine-level warriors.
George ignored the two girls arguing and cleaned up the battlefield, gathering the loot.
In just a short time, hundreds of Obsidian Wraiths were killed, and a lot of Obsidian Shards dropped.
George had asked Eliex before. These Obsidian Shards were also good materials for making weapons and armor.
"Damn it, this guy is tough. Constantine, you take him," a voice came from far away, angry.
He had underestimated the power of the 55-level Obsidian Wraith boss. It wasn’t his match, but it was hard to kill in a short time.
"Okay, watch me," Constantine said excitedly, flew up into the air, and charged toward the boss.
"Roar!"
The Obsidian Wraith boss roared and rushed forward to meet him.
Boom boom!
Two huge monsters fought instantly.
The Obsidian Wraith boss was strong, but it still couldn’t match Constantine. It was beaten mercilessly.
"This guy is so brutal. When will I reach the False God stage?" Eliex watched and felt a bit jealous.
Though he was upset, he had to admit that Constantine was way stronger than him.
"Hmph, your power is nothing. Die!" Constantine had had enough. He roared, grabbed his war hammer, his muscles bulged, and he hit down with all his strength.
Boom!
A loud explosion shook the ground. A deep pit appeared, and the Obsidian Wraith boss lost all its HP and died in a burst of blood.
[Killed Obsidian Wraith Boss, Experience + 250,000]
[Dropped: Crafted Relic x4]
The message flashed. This time, it dropped four Crafted Relics directly.
George was surprised. He thought the second layer boss dropping two Crafted Relics was just luck. Now it looked like they were stacking.
Four Crafted Relics in the third layer. Would the fourth layer drop eight?
But was there even a fourth layer?
The Obsidian Shrine had a level limit. Only adventurers under level 50 could enter. These Obsidian Wraiths were already level 55, way beyond normal adventurers.
"Search for a way down to the next layer," George ordered the others. He cleaned up the battlefield, taking all the Obsidian Shards and the boss’s body.
"Your Majesty, we found another passage," Eliex called from a pile of rocks far away. He waved to the others.
There was definitely a fourth layer. How many layers did this Obsidian Shrine even have?
George ran over to check. He hesitated whether to go in.
According to the pattern of the previous layers, the next layer’s Obsidian Wraiths would be level 60.
A regular 60-level monster was easy for Constantine and the others to handle, but a 60-level boss might be tough.
They should go in first and check. If it was too hard, they could kill the regular Obsidian Wraiths first.
George made up his mind and said, "Constantine, lead the way."
"Yes." Constantine immediately shrank in size and walked into the deep passage.
The passage was still long and dark, just like before.
