Game Invasion Era: Rise from Binding the Goblin King!-Chapter 162: Taming Wayne, The Disaster Strikes
Wayne stared at George for a long time, then sighed reluctantly. "Fine, I’ll do it."
He really had no other choice. And he had nowhere else to go.
Most importantly, he couldn’t figure out George. Maybe he could take a chance. At worst, he’d just die.
"Sign the contract."
George didn’t waste time. He immediately made a contract with Wayne.
[Successfully Tamed Wayne, the Bloodthirsty Felborn King. You have gained Strength Reciprocation. Four basic stats +10,000]
[Your pet has gained Strength Reciprocation]
[Blood King Constantine’s stats have increased. Four basic stats +10,000. Skill level +1]
...
[Obsidian Wraith has broken through to SSS tier. Promoted to False God. Gained a bit of Fundamental Power]
[You have gained Strength Reciprocation. Fundamental Power improved. Four basic stats +10,000]
[Shieldback Dragon Turtle has broken through to SSS tier. Promoted to False God. Gained The Celestial Serpent’s Power and The Power of the Dragon Turtle]
[You have gained Strength Reciprocation. Four basic stats +10,000]
The notification flashed. George’s pets all got another round of Strength Reciprocation. Their power had grown a lot. And the Obsidian Wraith and the Shieldback Dragon Turtle both broke through to False God stage.
"Obsidian Wraith has Fundamental Power?"
George was surprised. That was a real bonus. He had actually doubted whether the Obsidian Wraith was worth training. But now, the guy had Fundamental Power and had become his strongest ally. He could even kill gods now.
That was a real bonus.
"This is the power of a master?" Wayne was shocked. After swearing loyalty to George, his wounds healed and his power had improved a lot. He’d be back to his peak in no time.
"Do you know what the Oathweaver is?" George asked curiously.
He had heard the name many times, but he still didn’t know what made the Oathweaver special.
Wayne shook his head and asked, "Doesn’t your lord know?"
"I only know it can help you boost your power and stage," George said. But this was probably a system reward.
He looked at his Frost Keeper stats. It had broken through to SSS tier and had gotten a huge boost.
Someone was coming?
George was confused. He felt someone entering the Underworld Sanctum. It was Lily and Elise.
Elise had come back from The Veilwood?
And Lily wasn’t in the Abyss Sanctum?
A bad feeling suddenly came over George. He grabbed Wayne and easily passed through space, appearing in front of the two girls.
"George!"
"Master!"
The two girls were scared when they saw George suddenly appear. Then they smiled and greeted him.
"Why are you here?" George asked curiously.
The girls’ happy expressions disappeared. Their faces turned serious.
Lily spoke. "George, something’s wrong. The Abyss Sanctum is in chaos. Four space gates have opened. Monsters from everywhere are coming to Earth. A lot of countries have already fallen. The Human Federation is in its worst crisis ever..."
"Monsters are here so fast?" George wasn’t surprised, but he wasn’t ready.
He needed to unite the resistance forces from The Chaos Battlefield, and he needed to control Earth’s Will.
He guessed that Constantine and the others were already gathering people in The Chaos Battlefield.
George looked at Wayne and asked, "Wayne, can you open the connection between The Chaos Battlefield, Earth, and the Abyss Sanctum?"
Lily and Elise had already noticed Wayne. They were curious but didn’t ask much.
"Need a seed from an ancient Bloodvine tree."
Wayne looked around at the swirling Bloodmist and said, "Lord, there’s a Bloodvine ancient tree seed here, but I can’t kill it."
"Leave it to me," George said. His Intellect spread out, and soon he locked onto the core of the Bloodmist - a huge, old Bloodvine tree.
He moved his mind, and his body vanished into thin air.
"Master?" Elise looked worried.
"Don’t worry, the lord won’t be in danger," Wayne said calmly to comfort her.
George had just killed a Demon King easily. A Bloodvine tree was nothing to him.
"You’re the Felborn?" Elise looked at the False God, her face full of hostility.
The Felborn and the demon race had once been allies, and they had done a lot of damage to the Elf race. If Elise didn’t know that Wayne had already been tamed by the master, she would have attacked.
"You’re the Elf Queen!"
Wayne also noticed Elise’s strange behavior and looked shocked. "No way. The Elf Queen’s legacy was already cut off. There shouldn’t be a new Elf Queen."
"Scared now?" Elise laughed coldly. "You should be lucky you joined the master. Otherwise, you’d be dead right now."
"Elise, is he a bad guy?" Lily tugged at Elise’s skirt and looked at Wayne curiously.
"Definitely not a good guy. Stay away from him in the future," Elise warned.
Wayne frowned and let out a cold snort. He didn’t want to talk to the two girls.
Lily was curious about his identity. His long red hair and strong aura made it clear he wasn’t human.
"Elise, is the master okay?" Lily was worried after George had been gone for so long.
Before Elise could answer, the Bloodmist around them started to move and quickly disappear into the ground.
At that moment, George appeared again, holding a piece of red, dry wood in his hand.
The two girls sighed in relief and rushed over to him.
"Bloodmist is gone. Let’s go back," George said. He moved his mind and led the group out of the Underworld Sanctum, back to Earth.
The scenery changed quickly. A loud explosion kept happening. There were also monster roars and human battle cries in the background.
George appeared in front of a broken house. He looked around and couldn’t calm down.
At that moment, deep cracks appeared on the ground. The sky also had cracks in space, and it looked like it was about to break. In the distance, there were several space gates, continuously letting monsters come through.
He suddenly remembered the apocalyptic scene he had seen in the Half-Orc territory.
Countless monsters were coming in a terrifying flood. Human armies were swallowed and drowned. There were screams and cries from humans.
"This is the Sovereign City?" George said coldly, his body full of cold killing intent, and his powerful Strength surging inside him.
"Yeah!"
But right after that, a strong Strength came toward him and forced his own powerful Strength down.
Again, it was the Earth’s Will!
George’s anger boiled. The Earth was facing a total disaster. Humans and animals were dying, and this Earth’s Will was still targeting him.
[Detected a target that fits the Taming conditions]
[Identity unknown, level unknown, stage unknown...]
[Target location locked. Should I teleport?] 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
At that moment, the notification flashed.
George knew the system had detected the Earth’s Will. This time, he had to capture this guy.
But he had more important things to deal with.
"Wayne." George looked at Wayne and pulled out a red blood seed. "This is a seed from an ancient Bloodvine tree. I need you to open the connection between The Chaos Battlefield, Earth, and the Abyss Sanctum."
Wayne took the seed and said, "Master, I need to go into The Chaos Battlefield first. Also, the Abyss Sanctum is too big. Opening a channel there won’t help much."
"It’s fine. Just open the channels between the two places. I’ll take you to The Chaos Battlefield. Elise, you come too. Constantine and Melina have gathered a lot of forces. I need you to contact them and come through the space gate. Get to Earth and stop the monster flood." George explained his plan and led the group through the ruins to the Temple Guild headquarters.
Only the teleportation array at the headquarters could get them into The Chaos Battlefield.
Hope the array wasn’t destroyed. Once the gate was open, they wouldn’t need the array anymore.
"Master, I’ll stay here. I’ve become the Elf Queen now. My strength is almost equal to a god. I can help you. Let Eliex go instead. He’s the weakest now." Elise said confidently.
"You’re the Elf Queen?" George finally noticed her change. Her level had reached 100, and she had become the Elf Queen.
Also, there were elves in the monster rebellion army. Those elves were definitely brought by Elise from The Veilwood.
"Okay, I’ll leave this to Eliex. Go get him." George ordered.
"Understood." Elise nodded and hurried off.
Soon, George and the others arrived at the Temple Guild headquarters. It had already been reduced to ruins, but the teleportation array in the underground chamber was still intact.
Eliex arrived in a hurry.
George gave the two a quick talk and activated the teleportation array, sending them into The Chaos Battlefield to open the gate.
Then, George took Lily to the temporary command post and found James.
"George, you’re back!"
James sighed in relief when he saw George safe. "The Fireseed Project is ready. Now, lead one thousand human elites into The Chaos Battlefield and keep the last bit of Fireseed."
Space gates had opened. Countless monsters were invading. With the current strength of humans, they couldn’t fight back. In less than a day, billions of humans had died, and more than half the countries had fallen, turning into hell on earth.
"No, we still have hope." George shook his head. His Fundamental Power had improved multiple times. He clearly felt that Earth’s Will was still strong, but it let the monsters run wild and kill people. It had clearly betrayed them.
He had to capture Earth’s Will. Maybe with its strength, he could stop the monster invasion.
James frowned, "I don’t want you to take the risk."
"I won’t leave Earth. If you’re not sure, let the one thousand elites go first. There’s a backup plan I left there. They won’t hurt human adventurers." George said firmly. He had already made the worst plans and was ready to die with Earth.
