"Jealousy and envy have always driven people throughout history, but this was a double-edged sword with no hilt; you never know when it will hurt you." Maegor's thoughts regarding Aegon.

-----------

On the training grounds, at the Imperial Palace.

Jaehaerys, Aemon, Maegor, Aegon, and Baelon could be seen lying on the ground, staring at the sky with empty, lifeless expressions. Their faces displayed various bruises, from purple to red, small and large.

Aegon, in particular, looked like a pig with a face swollen from so much beating.

"Brothers, it's been a while since we've seen the sky with such clarity." Aemon, with bleeding lips and a black eye, spoke in a tired, yet almost cheerful tone.

"Did Alysanne hit you so hard you went crazy?" Jaehaerys asked in a surprised tone. Seeing Aemon's state, the man looked like a philosopher reflecting on life after a great desolation.

"I'm not crazy, just lighter than ever." Aemon retorted his brother's words with a peaceful tone.

Maegor, Aegon, Baelon, and Jaehaerys moved away from Aemon, as if they feared the condition was contagious. "Our older sister hit his head too hard; he must be crazy." Jaehaerys muttered to his brothers with a look full of pity.

"He probably turned into a masochist." Maegor commented with a dry, lifeless laugh. Getting beaten by Alysanne was a great wound to his pride. "Besides, he has twenty-five sons and daughters; imagine how many fetishes he has in bed?"

Everyone agreed with Maegor's words. Aemon had worked hard to increase the numbers of House Targaryen; there was obviously some strange fetish behind it.

Aemon's face was grim. What was wrong with liking sex? He simply didn't like to ejaculate outside; he preferred inside. Was there something wrong with that!? However, in his brothers' words, it had turned into a strange fetish.

"Just shut up." Aemon said with a tone tinged with annoyance.

"This reminds me of when we were kids. Alysanne liked to beat us to show her physical superiority." Jaehaerys, lying on the ground with his clothes covered in dust, said with a laugh, remembering when they were just innocent children. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

"Baelon didn't experience that. He was the youngest, so Alysanne spared him from that torture." Maegor said with a laugh, remembering Baelon's look of disbelief when he heard he was going to train with Alysanne.

The other brothers laughed; even Aegon laughed. They looked like children again, without any conspiracy, without any fighting, just brothers facing the same fate.

Aegon liked this feeling. Deep down, he missed these moments. Unfortunately, his ambition spoke louder than anything else. He knew this was a rare moment between brothers, one that might never be repeated again.

"You should have warned me, and I would have tried to run away with you." Baelon said with an indignant tone upon hearing his older brothers' laughter. He couldn't believe he had been beaten by Alysanne, whom he believed to be the epitome of elegance and grace. The woman practically turned into a super-powerful female titan.

"We told you, but you didn't believe us." Jaehaerys said with a mocking tone. Seeing Baelon's bruised face made him feel that his own injuries weren't so painful. They had failed in their escape attempts; the hangars were closed, and they couldn't get away.

He knew it was his father trying to compensate Alysanne for losing so badly in the Imperial Senate.

"However, even though we got a beating, I've never been so happy to see Alysanne lose in the Imperial Senate." Maegor said with a cheerful laugh. The mere memory of Alysanne's face upon hearing their father's judgment made him feel extremely happy.

"Yeah, it was so refreshing." Aegon replied with a big smile on his lips.

"Are you two fools, or do you really think Alysanne lost?" Jaehaerys commented with a touch of sarcasm. "Our father just didn't want Alysanne to become a spoiled girl who never lost anything in life; in other words, he's training her."

Maegor was indifferent, as he didn't care about the throne, but Aegon showed a grim expression, though he quickly hid it well.

"I don't understand you, Aegon." Jaehaerys looked at Aegon with a deep gaze. "Our father has never shown any indication that he would place one of his sons as heir. Why do you insist on trying to take something that never belonged to you?"

Silence hung in the air as Aegon's ambitions were revealed before everyone. Not that it was a secret, but everyone treated it as a rebellious phase of Aegon's. However, even a thousand years later, this ambition had only grown, which began to worry them.

"I am his firstborn son." Aegon said with a calm tone. "The Throne is mine by right of my birth. There has never been a woman on the throne, and those who dared to try almost destroyed House Targaryen." Aegon spoke with a calm and indifferent tone.

"What foolishness. This is no longer the world of Planetos stagnant in time. Our father changed the world, and with that change, our view of the world also changed. What someone has between their legs does not determine how competent they will be." Jaehaerys spoke with a serious tone.

"Aegon II, Aegon III, Aegon IV, Baelor I, Aerys II." Maegor also commented. "They were terrible kings; they practically made House Targaryen suffer for hundreds of years."

The reason Aegon III was mentioned was because he was the one who killed the last dragon of House Targaryen, Morning.

"But Dad is immortal. Do we really need to have this conversation?" Baelon, who was the youngest, asked with a confused tone. In his eyes, there was no point in discussing something like this. His father was an immortal god; it was pure stupidity to fight for a throne they would never sit on.

"The cold, lifeless throne is more attractive than one's own family." Aemon commented sarcastically, not hiding the mockery in his words. In his eyes, Aegon was a clown putting on a circus to attract attention.

Attention that, curiously, he always received from Aenar. Aegon had more time with his father than any other son or daughter. But it wasn't love that moved Aegon, but the feeling of accomplishment and seeing pride in his father's eyes.

Faced with his brothers' words, Aegon remained silent. Were his actions useless? Was everything he sacrificed useless? He sacrificed his own wife to a Goddess of Chaos, even sleeping with her. All of this was the sacrifice he thought necessary, but it became something useless and unnecessary in the eyes of his brothers (Even though they didn't know about his crimes).

"Do you dare to say you never dreamed of becoming emperor?" Aegon finally spoke, his words causing everyone to fall silent.

Just as a soldier always dreamed of becoming a Primarch, a prince who never dreamed of becoming Emperor failed as a prince.

"That was when we were children and teenagers, influenced by rumors and flattery." Aemon broke the silence between them. "Our father had a conversation with me and explained things well. After that conversation, I never dreamed of being our father's heir again."

"The same happened to me." Jaehaerys said with a smile.

"Me too." Maegor also nodded his head.

"I had the same conversation with our father." Baelon said with a smile.

Aenar never negotiated with his sons and daughters. He explained from the beginning that there was only one heir in his life, and that was Alysanne and no one else. He explained that it wasn't that they would be terrible emperors, but because the Known Universe needed someone like Alysanne, someone who could not be influenced by the forces of chaos.

Aenar explained everything, how the Gods of Chaos work and how dangerous they are to people's minds. Alysanne was someone immune to this influence and capable of making important decisions in a cold and indifferent manner.

At that moment, everyone understood that it wasn't that they were bad, but simply that Alysanne was the perfect Heir in case something happened to Aenar or he was forced to sleep for a long time. In this universe where the Gods of Chaos were so powerful, Aenar could not afford to put someone in his place who was susceptible to the influence of the Gods of Chaos.

That's why Aenar's children accepted their roles very well. They could be generals or anything else, but they could never sit on the Ruby Throne.

"And you accepted his words, without questioning or even thinking they were lies just to end your ambitions?" Aegon couldn't help but say with a touch of sarcasm and mockery.

Aemon, Jaehaerys, Maegor, and Baelon frowned at the same time.

"Aegon, watch your words." Aemon spoke with a cold tone. "Dare to insult our father as a liar again, and I will beat you so hard that Aunt Daenerys won't recognize you."

"Yes, watch your words. Don't dishonor our father with your envy and jealousy." Maegor said with an indifferent tone.

Jaehaerys just gave Aegon the middle finger.

Faced with the hostile looks of his brothers, Aegon stood up, snorted disdainfully, and left the training ground.

"Now I understand why Alysanne focused more on Aegon. This guy needs to be beaten more to wake up." Baelon said with a fierce tone.

"Let's go take a bath. We won't talk about this fool anymore." Maegor stood up and said with an indifferent tone. Everyone nodded their heads and followed Maegor.
