Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!-Chapter 258 Ruo’er’s Misunderstanding!
Hearing Noah's confirmation, the old man snapped out of his daze and coughed to calm himself.
"I wanted to ask, did Xin Yan really break through without going through a tribulation?"
In reality, he wanted to ask how Xin Yan was able to break through without any tribulation. He was sure that she broke through, and that too without any injuries.
What he did not know was how that was even possible…
He had never heard of anything that could make the tribulation stop or not appear in the first place and also breakthrough at the same time.
But when he saw what Noah just did to his granddaughter, he decided against asking that question.
Ming Ye's question caused his granddaughter's eyes to widen.
She never expected that something like that was even possible. Then she once again remembered the haggard appearance of the black-haired woman before she left.
Noah, on the other hand, was surprised for a different reason. He was surprised that the old man was able to tell she broke through even with his seal active.
But after thinking deeply about it, he understood that he must have sensed the remnant fluctuations of Dao and the law on her body from her breakthrough.
Everyone in the Soul Phase is supposed to cultivate at least one law to break through.
Without cultivating any law, the breakthrough to the next major realm cannot be achieved.
What he did not know was that he also sensed the laws stirring in the surroundings.
These kinds of movements can only be seen at the time of a breakthrough or some fortunate event.
"She did break through, but she did go through a tribulation."
Noah's confirmation caused Ruo'er's mind to shake violently. She could not help but feel terrible about how she assumed Xin Yan to be a bad mother.
She felt ashamed of herself and laid on the ground emotionlessly. Seeing her like that, Noah released her restraints silently before continuing his conversation.
"So it was indeed true." Ming Ye nodded to himself before changing the topic. "As for your question, we are going to the parent Empire of this one."
He also did not explain the details of their plans to him.
Noah understood which empire he was talking about.
On the Red Fire Continent, three empires have the right to be called the major empires.
These major empires have subsequent empires and kingdoms under them that help them manage the mortal Kingdoms.
They just overlook these small empires and collect resources and taxes from these places.
"We are leaving for the same place soon, do you want a ride along?" Noah asked politely before turning his attention towards Ruo'er who did not say anything hearing his response.
"Xin Yan would love to get to know you. She has faith in Long Tian's promise and believes that he found a way to eventually come back to her." Noah stood up before walking towards the gate. "I am sure that you also have many things you want to ask her; this is a good time for you to talk to her." Read new adventures at novelbuddy.com
Leaving those words behind, Noah walked out of the room to take a walk in the beautiful valley of the sect.
He looked up to see the moon high up in the sky.
"Sigh~" Noah sighed, recalling all the events he had been through after his transmutation.
Unknowingly, a whole year went by since that time. In the entire year, even when he tried to, he could not get proper rest.
The silence of the night did not seem as pleasant as it appeared to him. The loneliness in his heart was not as easy as any other pain to bear.
Any sane man would become manic if they were subjected to such a state. Maybe even Noah was not as sane as he appeared.
"Did you finish talking with the snotty brat?" As Noah was about to drift into his lonely dark world, a warm voice brought colors to his world, eradicating the darkness.
Noah turned around to come face to face with his savior. He saw her, a green-haired woman floating in the air. Looking deep into his eyes with love and warmth plain as day in her eyes. The moonlight shining in her sparkly golden eyes was enough to take someone's breath away.
*Ba-dump!*
Just the genuine smile on her face was enough to wash away the pain of the loneliness he was feeling. Her smile aroused a smile from him.
Even though it was not as genuine as hers, he tried his best to offer her a fraction of the warmth she was offering him.
"It went fine. Did you make sure Xin Yan was… well herself?" Noah paused, trying to find the proper words to address the woman. Xin Yan's lips twitched in annoyance.
Noah even saw a brief coldness appearing in her eyes.
"She is the same." Elysia scoffed before adding, "She just became more annoying than usual."
Elysia looked at Noah with a pout before looking away.
"It's all your fault."
Noah rolled his eyes, hearing her mutter under her breath.
"Just sort out whatever happened between the two of you. Don't drag me into useless stuff. I am too old for this shit." He sighed before he started walking on the pathway along the edge of a pond that reflected the moon's radiance.
Elysia floated behind him, grumbling about his unfair attitude. Seeing Noah walking away while ignoring her words, she jumped on his back, causing him to stumble a little before he balanced himself.
"I love you, Noah~" leaning her head on his shoulder, she whispered in his ears, causing Noah to pause all of a sudden.
"I know~"
"~Hehehe, I love you.~"
Elysia became stunned for a second hearing the warmth in his words. She did not mind the words he spoke, but the way he spoke caused her to feel happy all of a sudden. She started giggling and repeating her confession to him.
