A surge of energy emanated from the talisman, creating a protective barrier around Inspector Zhao.

The charred, black hand that had been choking him recoiled as if it had been burned by an invisible fire.

The eerie laughter of the possessed Mu Jie turned into agonized screeches.

The car, which had been swerving dangerously, steadied as Inspector Zhao regained control of the vehicle.

He called out tentatively,

Mu Jie stared blankly at Inspector Zhao and just when Inspector Zhao thought that he was still possessed, Mu Jie asked in a stiff tone,

He remembered how he felt tired and closed his eyes and when he opened his eyes again, they were completely black and he started looking into the rearview mirror of the car.

Inspector Zhao who just happened to look at him was scared.

At first Mu Jie was still confused but when he saw himself smiling so sinisterly he was shocked and a voice inside him told him that he was going to die for sure.

Inspector Zhao saw Mu Jie’s scared expression and said cautiously,

"Young Master Mu, should I call that Celestial Master?"

Even though Inspector Zhao didn’t want Yu Holea to gain fame, he still wanted his life.

Mu Jie instantly agreed and told the address to Inspector Zhao who started driving the car in the opposite direction.

Inspector Zhao turned to leave but at the thought of how he would be alone, till the time he drove to his house, he shivered a little.

"If you stay with me for the next 4 hours I will pay you double."

Even though he trusted Celestial Master Rong, he trusted on yellow talismans in Inspector Zhao’s hand more.

Celestial Master Rong rubbed the prayer beads in his hand and asked,

"Did he step into it? What happened after?"

Inspector Zhao paled a little and told Celestial Master Rong everything he saw and finally stopped at the part where Mu Jie whispered something.

"What did he whisper?"

Inspector Zhao was about to say something when a monk suddenly barged in and said in an anxious tone,

"Celestial Master Rong, bad news, all the lights in the prayer room have gone out and some strange noises are echoing in the entire temple."

Celestial Master Rong frowned and asked,

"Did someone open the forbidden room?"

The monk shook his head and Celestial Master Rong stood up.

He started walking toward the prayer room and said to Mu Jie,

"Stay here."

Mu Jie nodded.

Just when Celestial Master Rong left, Yu Holea’s phone call came and Inspector Zhao instantly picked up.

Yu Holea’s calm voice sounded,

"Hello, who is this ?"

Yu Holea didn’t dare to ignore a call that comes at night especially when her clients belong to the type that might be haunted at night.

Inspector Zhao was delighted to hear Yu Holea’s voice and said,

"Hello, it’s me, Inspector Zhao! I need your help."

Yu Holea was about to hang up when she heard Inspector Zhao’s name but when she heard the fear in his voice she stopped and asked,

"What happened?"

Inspector Zhao told her what happened to him till now and then said,

"If you can come now, he will definitely pay you well!"

Mu Jie nodded and said,

"I can pay you 10 million! Just come fast."

Yu Holea felt that she wasn’t missing out and hence she agreed.

She asked about their current location and set out.

Inspector Zhao and Mu Jie’s hanging heart finally relaxed.

With 2 experts together with them, they don’t need to worry about anything.

After 20 minutes Celestial Master Rong returned with his head lowered, however, his aura was somewhat gloomy.
