Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All-Chapter 757: Trap
Chapter 757: Chapter 757: Trap
Yu Shuchang stood still. His eyes stared at Sheng Yin like he didn’t understand what he just heard.
"You... like me?" he asked, his voice low and unsure.
Sheng Yin smiled and took a small step closer. "Yes," she said softly, "I think I do."
Yu Shuchang looked at her for a long time. His heart was beating super fast. He never expected to hear this from her—not like this.
"You’re not joking, right?" he asked carefully. "You really mean it?"
Sheng Yin nodded and looked down, pretending to be shy.
"I’m not joking. I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, and I feel safe when I’m with you."
Yu Shuchang’s expression changed. The coldness in his eyes slowly faded. His lips parted, but he didn’t know what to say.
"I... I’ve always liked you," he admitted after a while. "But I didn’t want to scare you away."
Sheng Yin smiled again and reached out to hold his hand. Her fingers were soft and warm.
"I’m not scared," she whispered. "I want to be with you. But... only if you trust me."
Yu Shuchang looked at their hands together. His chest felt warm, like something heavy was slowly lifting off.
"I trust you," he said gently.
Sheng Yin blinked, her eyes a little watery now.
"Then drink the milk."
Yu Shuchang’s eyes turned cold. "Is it drugged?"
Sheng Yin shook her head, and to prove herself, she even took a sip.
Yu Shuchang’s eyes softened; he took the cup from her hand and placed it on the desk.
"Alright, I believe you. Let’s sleep."
Sheng Yin panicked, but she didn’t give up.
"Shuchang, please," Sheng Yin’s voice trembled, her fingers clutching the fabric of his shirt as she pressed herself against him.
The study was dimly lit, the air thick with the scent of parchment and ink, but all Yu Shuchang could focus on was the warmth of her body against his, the desperation in her eyes.
He hesitated, his hands hovering above her shoulders.
"Sheng Yin, we just confessed our feelings to each other. Shouldn’t we... take this slowly?"
His voice was strained, torn between the logical part of his brain and the primal urge that was threatening to overtake him.
She shook her head, her dark hair cascading over her shoulders like a waterfall.
"I can’t," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"I need this. I need you." Her lips brushed against his ear as she spoke, sending shivers down his spine.
Yu Shuchang’s resolve crumbled.
He couldn’t deny the way his body reacted to her, the way his heart raced as she leaned in closer.
His hands finally settled on her waist, pulling her even closer until there was no space left between them.
He could feel the rapid rise and fall of her chest against his own, the way her breath hitched when his fingers dug into her skin.
"Sheng Yin," he murmured, his voice low and husky. "Are you sure?"
Sheng Yin bites her lips.
Even if they go all the way, she wasn’t at a loss anyway...
She had loved him for the past two lifetimes.
By the time he would come to his senses and realize his feelings for Susan, she won’t be at a loss!
"I won’t regret this." She said softly.
Those words were all it took.
Yu Shuchang’s self-control shattered as he captured her lips in a searing kiss.
It was hungry, desperate, as if they had been starved of each other for years.
Sheng Yin’s hands tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as she deepened the kiss, her tongue sliding against his with a fervor that left him breathless.
He backed her up against the desk, the papers and books scattering to the floor as he lifted her onto it.
His hands roamed over her body, exploring every curve, every dip, as if trying to memorize her.
Sheng Yin’s breathy moans filled the room, driving him wild with desire.
Just as he was about to lose himself completely, she pushed him back, her chest heaving as she looked up at him with wide eyes.
"Not here," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Let’s go to the bedroom."
Yu Shuchang nodded, his mind hazy with lust.
He scooped her up in his arms, carrying her through the halls of his estate to his bedroom.
The moment they crossed the threshold, he kicked the door shut and laid her down on the bed, his body hovering over hers.
"Do you really want this?" he asked again, his voice rough with need.
Sheng Yin’s answer was to grab the front of his shirt and pull him down into another heated kiss.
Her hands fumbled with the buttons, desperate to feel his skin against hers.
When she finally succeeded, she ran her fingers over his chest, tracing the lines of his muscles as if she were committing them to memory.
Yu Shuchang’s hands weren’t idle either.
He tugged at the ties of her robe, slowly revealing the smooth skin beneath.
His breath hitched when he finally saw her, her body trembling under his gaze.
She was beautiful, more than he could’ve ever imagined.
"You’re perfect," he whispered, his voice filled with awe.
"Yu Shuchang," she moaned, her voice trembling with need. "Please..."
He could feel her urgency, the way her body trembled beneath him, begging for more.
But as much as he wanted to give in, to take her fully, he held back.
He wanted their first time to be unforgettable, something she would cherish forever.
Instead, he focused on pleasing her, his lips and hands working in tandem to bring her to the edge and back again.
Sheng Yin’s cries filled the room, each one sending a jolt of pleasure through him.
He could feel her body tightening around his fingers, her climax building as he brought her closer and closer to the brink.
When she finally came undone, her body convulsing with pleasure, Yu Shuchang held her close, whispering soothing words in her ear as she came down from her high.
"How do you feel?" he asked softly, brushing a strand of hair from her face.
Sheng Yin looked up at him, her eyes glazed with pleasure but also something else—guilt? Regret?
He couldn’t quite place it, but there was a sadness in her eyes that made his heart ache.
Feeling thirsty, he reluctantly pulled away from her to grab the bottle of water on the nightstand.
He unscrewed the cap and took a long sip, the cool liquid soothing his parched throat.
But as soon as the water hit his stomach, he felt a wave of dizziness wash over him.
His vision blurred, the room spinning around him as he stumbled back, clutching his head.
"What... What’s happening?" he slurred, his voice thick with confusion.
Sheng Yin’s face appeared in his blurry vision, her expression filled with regret.
"I’m sorry, Yu Shuchang," she whispered, her voice trembling.
His heart sank as realization dawned on him. This was a trap.
"You... You drugged me," he managed to say, his voice barely above a whisper.
She nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I didn’t want to, but... I had no choice."
Yu Shuchang’s vision darkened, his body growing heavier with each passing second.
He tried to stay upright, but his legs gave out, sending him crashing to the floor.
The last thing he saw before everything went black was Sheng Yin’s apologetic smile, her whispered words echoing in his mind.
"I’m so sorry."
’Sheng Yin, once I wake up...just see how I will deal with you...’ He thought and fell asleep.
Sheng Yin heaved a sigh of relief and packed everything, with trembling body.
That was how she was able to make it to the wedding.
Yu Shuchang won’t be able to wake up for the next 24 hours.
She would expose the Sheng family and Qi Bailu, and once done, she would explain everything to him, too.
Surely he won’t be angry anymore, right?
Sheng Yin could only hope so.
Right then, the big doors at the back opened, and the Sheng Family walked in.
Sheng Yin’s parents were smiling proudly, waving at people.
Some guests clapped politely. They had no idea what was about to happen.
The officiator began the speech.
After ending it, he said,
"I ask you each now to repeat the marriage vows."
Qi Bailu smiled and said,
"I, Qi Bailu, take you, Sheng Yin, to be my wife..."
But before he could finish, Sheng Yin raised her hand and stopped him.
"Wait," she said loudly.
Everyone turned to look at her, surprised.
Sheng Yin stepped forward and looked around the room. Her eyes were sharp, her voice clear.
"I have something to say before I say any vows."
Qi Bailu’s smile started to fade. "Yin, what are you doing?" he whispered.
Sheng Yin ignored him and turned to the crowd.
"I can’t marry him because...he loved my younger sister, Sheng Xin, not me."
