Chapter 863: Chapter 863: Twins

But instead of calming the storm, this added more fuel.

People began saying:

"These directors must be paid off!"

"She probably gave them gifts or money!"

"Why else would they defend her like this?"

That’s when Yu Holea had enough.

She opened her Weibo, took a deep breath, and typed a post herself.

It was long.

And it was powerful.

Yu Holea then released an official statement saying that she was going to celebrate her first movie, Scream Behind Silence, for its 4 anniversary since that movie had been released and many people had loved it.

She was proud to announce something even more surprising: she was the director of that movie.

The internet froze.

Everyone on Weibo stared at the statement, reading it again and again, almost like they thought it might disappear.

"Wait... what?"

"Yu Holea? The actress? She directed that?"

People were shocked. That movie had been one of the best horror films ever made, and it had always been credited to a mysterious director named "Y-H." No one had ever seen that person in public. Now, they realized... it had been Yu Holea all along.

More and more people started asking:

"Is this real?"

"How can someone be an actress, a doctor, a businesswoman, and a director?"

It didn’t make sense to them. How could one person do so much? How did she have time to act, direct, study science, practice medicine, build businesses, and still look flawless on screen?

Yu Holea replied simply:

"I just work a bit harder than others. And those sleepless nights... have finally paid off."

Everyone fell silent.

Parents who used to tell their kids, "Don’t follow celebrities," suddenly said, "If you want an idol, choose Yu Holea."

Why? Because she wasn’t just beautiful and rich. She was talented, smart, hardworking, and respectful. She was good at acting, dancing, directing, medicine, talismans, and even cosmology.

And on top of all that, she had built her own empire and married the perfect husband.

People online joked:

"Is she secretly five people pretending to be one?"

"Can she please leave some talent for the rest of us?"

From that day on, Yu Holea wasn’t just a national star. She became a national idol.

And then... she went international.

Two Years Later

By now, Yu Holea was a global name. Everyone in the world knew who she was. She won awards overseas, did interviews in different languages, and appeared on international magazine covers.

But even with all the fame and success, something inside her felt... off.

She realized there was a part of her life that needed work, her relationship with Qiao Jun.

Sometimes, when they argued, she would get too angry too fast. She forgave others easily but was too strict with Qiao Jun. At first, she told herself it was because they were close. But deep down, she knew it wasn’t fair.

So, she apologized to him.

And more than that, she changed.

She started talking to him better, understanding his feelings, and learning how to trust more. Qiao Jun noticed the difference right away. He felt so happy that she was opening up to him. Their bond grew stronger than ever.

They were still young, only 26, and had a lot of time ahead.

Qiao Jun’s family started asking about kids, but he calmly handled it. He told them, "Yu Holea just entered the international market. Let’s give her space."

He never pressured her. He never made her feel bad.

Yu Holea felt truly lucky. Qiao Jun never let her take birth control pills because he knew they weren’t healthy. Instead, he always used protection, even if it was uncomfortable, just to keep her safe.

That small act touched her heart deeply.

Just how many husbands would do that? How many would care more about their wife’s health than their own comfort?

She felt so grateful to him.

Two years later.

At 28, Yu Holea expressed her desire to become a mother, and Qiao Jun was delighted. He put in ’extra’ efforts, making Yu Holea so tired that sometimes she wanted to beat him up.

The Qiao Family, who used to see every 2 days a week, now couldn’t even meet her in a week. They would be lucky if they spot her twice a month.

They cursed Qiao Jun; however, they couldn’t do much. That kid, after their first night, learned his lesson and directly shifted away from the Qiao Mansion, hogging Yu Holea for himself.

Since he could handle his business remotely, he sticks around Yu Holea like glue and follows her everywhere.

Qiao Li was the most furious one, but she was busy with her own problem and hence couldn’t voice out her anger.

Yu Holea, on the other hand, was focusing on having a baby. After being with Qiao Jun so long, she started to yearn for one too.

That’s when it happened.

Yu Holea missed her period.

At first, she didn’t panic. But then she double-checked. She tested herself.

The result?

Positive.

Her eyes widened. She checked her pulse again, just to be sure, thanks to her medical skills, and what she found made her heart race.

She was pregnant. With twins.

She stood in the bathroom, hands over her mouth, trying not to scream. Her hands were shaking, and her eyes were teary. She couldn’t believe it.

Her heart was bursting with happiness, but she didn’t know how to tell Qiao Jun. She wanted it to be special.

..................

The evening sun was just starting to go down, painting the sky with soft orange and purple colors. The whole city looked peaceful, but inside one beautiful rooftop garden, something magical was about to happen.

Yu Holea stood in the middle of the venue she had secretly booked and decorated. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Twinkling fairy lights hung from the trees, white curtains swayed gently in the breeze, and soft music played in the background.

There was a small table in the center with a white cake, two glasses of juice, and one big box wrapped in golden paper.

Yu Holea looked around nervously. Everything was perfect, but her heart wouldn’t stop beating fast. Her hands trembled just a little. After all, this was going to be one of the most important moments of her life.

She gently placed her hand on her tummy and whispered, "You’re going to meet your daddy soon. I hope he’s as happy as I am."

Just then, she heard the familiar sound of footsteps.

Qiao Jun entered, looking a bit confused but smiling when he saw her. "What’s all this?" he asked, walking toward her.

Yu Holea smiled and said, "Just something special... Come sit with me."

Qiao Jun sat down, still glancing around. "Did I forget our anniversary or something?"

Yu Holea laughed softly. "No, silly. You’d never forget that."

He raised an eyebrow playfully. "Then what is it?"

She handed him the golden box. "Open this."

Qiao Jun looked curious. He slowly untied the ribbon and opened the box.

Qiao Jun stared at the pregnancy test in his hands, his eyes wide, frozen in place.

He looked at the two bold lines again... then up at Yu Holea... then back at the test.

His lips parted, but no words came out. He was too shocked to speak. For a full minute, the whole room felt silent, like time had stopped.

Yu Holea watched him nervously. Her fingers were curled tightly together. Her heart was pounding fast. She bit her bottom lip.

Did... did he not want it?

Was he upset?

But just when she was about to panic, Qiao Jun finally looked at her properly.

And his eyes, his eyes were full of something she hadn’t seen in a long time.

Tears.

Real tears.

He slowly walked toward her, carefully placing the box on the table beside him, like it was the most precious thing in the world.

"You... you’re serious?" he asked softly, his voice trembling.

Yu Holea nodded. "I checked twice. I also checked my pulse. And I even went to the clinic this morning. It’s real."

Qiao Jun’s lips curled into the biggest smile she had ever seen on his face.

"Holea... I’m going to be a dad?" he asked again, like he couldn’t believe it.

Yu Holea giggled through her own happy tears. "Yes. But that’s not all."

He blinked. "Not all?"

She held up two fingers and whispered, "Twins."

Qiao Jun’s mouth dropped open. "TWINS?!"

She nodded again.

And in the next second, Qiao Jun pulled her into a tight hug. He held her so close, as if he never wanted to let her go.

"I...oh my god... I don’t know what to say!" he laughed, his voice choked with emotion. "This is the best day of my life!"

He gently pulled back and cupped her face. "Are you okay? Are you feeling sick? Tired? Hungry? I should’ve brought food... wait, I’ll order something. Or cook! Or..."

"Jun!" she giggled, touching his chest. "I’m okay. I just wanted to tell you first. Before anyone else."

He stared at her lovingly and shook his head with a wide grin. "You’re amazing. You’ve always been amazing. Thank you..."
