Global Catastrophe: I Became the World Tree-Chapter 412 - 260 Haven and Blessed Land_1
Chapter 412: Chapter 260 Haven and Blessed Land_1
The army of Dragon Hall, grand and mighty, made its way toward the Ancient Ruins. Every Mutated Being in their path promptly cleared the way, daring not to show the slightest intent to contend.
In such a scenario, the elite squads that followed from various cities also benefited.
Otherwise, they would have to face off against those Mutated Beings just like them, embroiled in battle even before entering the ruins.
The team advanced rapidly, reaching the entrance of the ruins in less than 5 minutes.
"We don’t know what the situation inside is like, everyone, take care," Ye Feng, controlling a Mutated Parrot, said to Zhang Ji and the others.
Then, without reducing his momentum, he led the grand Animal Army towards the grand gates of the Ancient Ruins.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!
The moment they rushed into the gates, they were teleported away.
Seeing this, Zhang Ji and the rest didn’t hesitate to follow suit.
In the blink of an eye, the vast team had vanished.
...
Ye Feng, possessing the Mutated Parrot, only felt a spinning sensation. However, it didn’t last long and soon subsided.
When he reappeared, he was standing on a soft patch of grass.
He ruffled the grass with his claws and let out a sigh of relief.
The things he had been concerned about hadn’t occurred: first, his Avatar Status hadn’t been canceled, and second, the Attribute Transferability of the Mutated Parrot was still intact.
He had truly been worried that his abilities might be nullified by the spatial separation, requiring his true form to rush over immediately.
Now, he wasn’t sure if it was because of the system’s sufficient power, or because the space’s sealing capability was weaker.
But regardless, as long as he could still use these abilities, there was no need to rush and put his true form in danger; it was better first to understand the situation here.
As Ye Feng pondered, he scanned his surroundings and soon, he was slightly taken aback.
Bizarrely, there were no members of Dragon Hall nearby.
"Were we forcibly separated upon teleportation?" he mused.
Ye Feng’s brows furrowed slightly, definitively an unfavorable turn of events.
Soon he made more discoveries. He was in a dense forest, but the trees here weren’t any that he recognized, seemingly not native to Earth.
"Could these all be plants from the Ancient Times? And the Spiritual Energy here is so dense! At least ten times greater than outside."
Ye Feng observed his surroundings, and quickly, he focused on the direction of 3 o’clock.
There was a Unicorn Insect, which judging by its aura, seemed to be at the Early Stage of the Third Order.
Insects reaching the Third Order were quite rare.
Of course, what truly caught his interest was that in front of the creature, there was a fruit tree only one meter tall, bearing three bright-red fruits.
At that moment, the Unicorn Insect was vigorously gnawing at one of the fruits.
This scene might not look out of the ordinary, but as the Unicorn Insect consumed the fruit, its aura was rapidly improving.
After consuming the whole fruit, it seemed to be on the verge of breaking through to the Mid-Stage Third Order.
"Even though it’s just a Mutated Insect, a small fruit like this has such a strong effect," Ye Feng’s face showed surprise.
Because within his field of vision, there were two more similar trees, also bearing fruits of different shapes. Could these fruits have the same effect?
If so, how many such fruits might there be in this forest?
With this thought, Ye Feng couldn’t help but get excited; this was truly a Haven and Blessed Land!
Whoosh!
With a flicker of his form, he casually swatted the Unicorn Insect away.
Then, extending his beak, he directly swallowed the remaining two fruits.
Soon he felt as the fruits were digested, a wave of incredibly pure energy rapidly spread throughout his body.
"A single fruit can at least be compared to a Spirit Fruit, and more importantly, the pure energy contained within is digested very swiftly, taking hardly any time, and it even aids in breaking through bottlenecks."
"This means that any being here can break through rapidly."
Thrill could barely be concealed in Ye Feng’s eyes. For a Fifth Order Beast like the Mutated Parrot, breaking through a Minor Boundary now would typically require around 100,000 points of Spiritual Energy.
Converted into these fruits, it would only take about 1,000 to break through a Minor Boundary.
After calculating this, Ye Feng’s breathing grew somewhat erratic.
He had the Mutated Parrot sweep through the surroundings, gathering all the fruits he could find—15 in total—and swallowed them all.
"No, this rate of collecting fruits is too slow, and most will probably be eaten by the numerous Mutated Insects. I must assemble the army of Dragon Hall for a strategic sweep."
With that thought, he immediately flew high into the sky, then began to survey the distance.
He quickly noticed, not far in the sky, was a Mutated Sparrow, and even further off, a Mutated Bat.
And even though the dense forest veiled the ground below, he could still make out the silhouettes of some enormous beings, like Mutated Elephants and Mutated Rhinos.
Seeing these, Ye Feng felt a bit more at ease, he could now be fairly certain that even if they were separated during teleportation, they were at least within the same area.
