It didn’t take a genius to figure out how far York could go with the protection of Divine Favor and Demon Beasts.

Thus, the joy of this blessing in disguise sent many into a state of ecstasy.

The prospect of earning a Dragon’s Merit constantly flickered in their minds.

Therefore, under the suppression of absolute Power, while some may have harbored dissent, most didn’t dare act on it.
