Global Game: Ten Billion Spirit Energy Coins From The Start-Chapter 728 - : 725, Defame Blue Star_1
Chapter 728: 725, Defame Blue Star_1
ps: Apologies, I’ve been busy for the Lunar New Year, so I didn’t have time to revise this chapter before posting. If you’re seeing this line, please refresh after half an hour, I’d have revised by then.
As the Blue Star humans began sending their prisoners into the Giant Skrull Base one by one, the group known as A Thousand Cups Unintoxicated finally gained their freedom.
They were escorted out of the base by the Enskuru people, untouched by spiritual energy restrictions. Seeing the Blue Star monks outside the base, the trio of A Thousand Cups Unintoxicated were moved to tears.
“Boss Ke, and all the elders, we’ve disappointed your expectations by being captured by the Skuru,” said A Thousand Cups Unintoxicated as they exited the base, addressing the sky above and the monks.
“It’s alright, A Thousand Cups Unintoxicated. It’s been hard for all of us, especially for you being transported to such a place, where escape would’ve been impossible.”
Su Yu flew over to the trio of A Thousand Cups Unintoxicated and examined them: “You three haven’t been hurt too badly right? The Skuru didn’t torture you, did they?”
...
” We were probably captured for too short a time to be tortured,” A Thousand Cups Unintoxicated replied awkwardly.

But he also felt regret, “It’s a shame that we did nothing these seven days and didn’t bring back any resources. It was such a waste.”
“Cheer up, the fact that you came back is more than enough!,” Su Yu chuckled at A Thousand Cups Unintoxicated and the others. “Welcome back to Blue Star!”
…
Upon the return of the three Blue Star gamers, a cleric with a specialization in healing came over to check them.
After the check-up, as there were no safety concerns within their bodies, they were sent back to play the game. They couldn’t afford to waste any more time after the loss of seven days.
On the second day of their return, under the convening of chairman Hu Jing, a grand celebration was held at the headquarters of the joint government.
This celebration was broadcasted across the entire net, chairman Hu Jing intended to boost the morale of the entire nation through this celebration.
At 10 AM, all 15 gamers who had once traveled to the Skru Star arrived at the grand hall of the joint government headquarters.
Hu Jing, the chairman, gave them a grand commendation for their accomplishments!
Of course, many of their achievements couldn’t be detailed, for instance, Sky Dragon’s meeting with Cindy Doppler was information that certainly couldn’t be shared with the public.
Chairman Hu Jing only verbally praised them and promised to increase their cultivation resources.
If there were opportunities to go to the Skru Star in the future, these 15 gamers would be given priority.
…
While the Blue Star was celebrating, the Skrull Star had a criticism and self-criticism meeting.
Lan Bo was currently both glad and worried.
After his return to the Skru Star, he was relieved that King Manina seemed to have forgotten about him and hadn’t dispatched anyone to bother him, such as throwing him back into the prison for torture.
However, he was worried about what he was currently doing, as it left a bad taste in his mouth.
Following their entry into the Spring Eye of Mount Fuji, Commander Langqi learned that their prisoners hadn’t been tortured or mistreated by the Blue Star humans.
But how could this be acceptable?
The Skuru Expeditionary Army simply couldn’t show the friendly side of the Blue Star humans to their people. They had to portray the Blue Star humans as demons who tortured their prisoners ruthlessly and cruelly, to incite a collective indignation among their people.
Hence, Lan Bo along with some strong individuals of the fifth or sixth rank, drew many injuries on their bodies to inform the people of the cruelty of the Blue Star humans through media.
Moreover, Lan Bo was the best interviewee for the media.
He was covered in countless wounds and scars.
All he needed to do was reveal those scars to sufficiently illustrate the brutal savagery of the Blue Star humans.
The next morning after his return to the Skru Star, he attended the famous Skru Star media program “Sound of the Sun” under the arrangement of his younger brother Langqi.
All the lines he was to say had been prepared, consisting mainly of derogatory remarks about the Blue Star humans.
Lan Bo didn’t want to slander the Blue Star, as the Blue Star humans had treated him well, and even helped heal his injuries.
He wanted to share what he had seen on the Blue Star, to tell everyone that the humans of Blue Star were friendly and not as terrifying as they were made out to be.
But that was impossible.
He had no choice but to defame the Blue Star humans in his speech. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to appear on the show.
In the studio of Sound of the Sun, the hostess looked at Lan Bo elegantly and said, “Your Excellency Lan Bo, you were a prisoner of the Blue Star people for over a month, I believe that period of time must have been extremely difficult for you?”
“Sigh, indeed, that was an unforgettable experience in my life, one that feels like a nightmare when I recall it now.”
Lan Bo, going along with the script prepared by the organizers beforehand said without emotion: “I was really tortured severely on the Blue Star.
On the day I was captured, my memories were forcefully probed causing damage to my memory that hasn’t fully recovered to this day.
Then, I was constantly beaten up. The head drill instructor of the Blue Star prison camp is a downright thug! During that month on Blue Star, I suffered more than 30 beatings from him, each leaving me bruised and bloody, and these scars on my body attest to that.”
Lan Bo lifted his shirt, revealing his scars to the camera.
The scars on his body were quite a sight, everywhere you looked. Many of the scars were scorched black and impossible to remove. It was clear just how much torments he had endured.
Of course, these scars were the handiwork of the organization Glare, but now everything was being attributed to the Blue Star people.
“This is simply horrifying!” The host looked at Lan Bo’s scars, her eyes blazing with anger: “This is barbaric, it’s cruel! This isn’t how a civilized society should behave! Such a primitive and backward species should be annihilated!”
“You’re right,” Lan Bo replied expressionlessly.
“The audience viewing this broadcast should have seen by now, haven’t they?” The host turned towards the screen and said bitterly: “Since the beginning of this war, we haven’t tortured any prisoners from Blue Star, yet look at how the Blue Star people brutally treated our soldiers.
Moreover, this isn’t an isolated instance, let us have a look.”
The interview then turned to a clip.
In the clip, the Skru soldiers were either missing an arm or leg, covered in blood, or left gasping for their last breath.
But without exception, they all were recounting the brutalities of the Blue Star humans, describing their hardships in the prisoner camp.
Then the clip cut back to the studio.
Looking at the vacant-eyed Lan Bo, the hostess asked: “Your Excellency Lan Bo, is there anything you’d like to say to our audience?”
“Yes,” Lan Bo replied dully nodding his head, “I feel everyone must unite and annihilate this evil species known as the Blue Star humans. Let the flowers of democracy and freedom bloom over the evil land of Blue Star!”
Although Lan Bo spoke as such, he had no choice. He couldn’t say anything positive about the humans of Blue Star on this program, after all, this was pre-recorded, not a live broadcast. If he had said something good, it simply wouldn’t have been aired, so he had to read as per script.
Meanwhile, he thought to himself: “I should find some opportunities in the future. I must reveal the truth about the prison camp.”
