Global Survival: I Have Endless Skeletons-Chapter 184: The Hollow Trust Covered In Blood.
"Ahhh! Ahhh!"
Terrified screams filled the air as chaos erupted inside the Hollow Trust headquarters.
Employees and gang members alike ran wildly through the corridors, desperately trying to escape the building.
Their faces were filled with dread, their eyes wide with horror as if they had just witnessed their worst nightmare come to life.
Inside the lobby, two hooded figures moved silently through the hall.
Every person who crossed their path died.
Blood splattered across the marble floor.
Severed limbs and shattered bodies lay scattered everywhere. The once orderly lobby had turned into a horrifying slaughterhouse.
Some people tried to fight back.
They grabbed knives, pistols, and even wooden chairs in desperate attempts to defend themselves.
But it was useless.
The two hooded figures moved like death itself.
Their attacks were swift and merciless.
With every swing of their weapons, another body fell to the ground.
Soon, the thick stench of blood filled the entire building.
On the fifth floor, Alfred and Bernard suddenly rose from their seats when they heard the commotion coming from below.
Their conversation came to an abrupt halt.
"What is going on?" Alfred asked, frowning deeply.
The distant screams echoed through the corridor, sending chills down his spine.
Bernard walked toward the office door and slowly opened it.
"We won’t know until we find out," he replied.
The two men stepped outside their office.
At that moment, they saw a young woman running desperately down the hallway toward the emergency stairs.
Her face was pale, and tears streamed down her cheeks.
"Hey! Stop!" Bernard shouted as he grabbed her arm.
The woman almost lashed out in anger at being stopped, but when she realized who was holding her, her expression immediately changed.
Recognizing them as her superiors, she forced herself to calm down.
"Tell us what is happening," Bernard demanded.
The woman swallowed nervously before answering.
"Two unknown figure are attacking the building," she said quickly. "They’re killing everyone in their path."
"What?" Alfred exclaimed.
"All our security guards are dead," she continued, her voice trembling. "They didn’t stand a chance against them."
Alfred and Bernard exchanged confused glances.
Why would two unknown men suddenly storm their headquarters and begin slaughtering their people?
They could not understand the situation.
But before they could ask any further questions, the woman had already pulled away and continued running toward the stairs.
She clearly had no intention of staying in the building any longer.
"What should we do?" Bernard asked nervously.
His confidence had completely disappeared.
If even their armed security guards could not stop those attackers, then the two of them had absolutely no chance.
"Call the police immediately," Alfred said.
He quickly pulled out his communicator and contacted the city police department.
After briefly explaining the situation, he ended the call.
The two men stood frozen in the corridor.
Their faces turned pale when the distant screams suddenly grew louder.
Closer.
Much closer.
Bernard swallowed hard.
"We need to inform the boss," he said with a trembling voice. "This situation is getting out of control."
"I agree," Alfred replied. "But first, we need to get out of this building."
Despite their ruthless behavior toward ordinary civilians, Alfred and Bernard were nothing more than cowards.
They enjoyed bullying the weak.
But when faced with overwhelming power, they would instantly submit like frightened dogs.
And now, with death knocking on their door...
Their only thought was escape.
The two men hurried toward the elevator.
But when they reached it, their hearts sank.
The elevator wasn’t working.
The entire building had lost power.
"T-This..." Alfred stuttered.
His hands began trembling uncontrollably.
"The stairs!" Bernard shouted.
Without hesitation, he ran toward the stairwell.
When they arrived, they discovered dozens of employees already crowding the stairs.
Everyone was pushing and shoving each other in desperation, racing toward the exit.
"Move! Move!"
"Get out of my way!"
"Let me through!"
Panic had completely taken over.
"Ahhhh! Ahhhh!"
Suddenly, horrifying screams erupted from the lower floors.
The sound was so terrible that it made everyone freeze.
"They’re coming!" someone shouted in terror.
"Back! Back! They’re here!"
The crowd immediately turned and began running back up the stairs in a chaotic stampede.
People tripped and fell.
Others stepped over them without hesitation.
Everyone was desperately trying to escape death.
Then...
From the lower steps, two hooded figures slowly appeared.
They climbed the stairs calmly, step by step.
Each step they took echoed heavily through the stairwell.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
Their movements were unhurried.
Yet every step brought them closer to their prey.
Soon, they reached the fifth floor.
Without hesitation, they began moving from one office to another.
Bang!
A single strike shattered a locked door.
Inside the room, a terrified woman screamed and fell to her knees.
"P-Please... don’t kill me!"
Her plea was cut short.
An axe descended mercilessly.
Bang!
Her body split into two pieces.
Blood splashed across the walls.
Without even glancing back, the hooded figure left the room and moved to the next office.
More screams followed.
The air quickly filled with the metallic smell of blood.
Corpses littered the floor.
Blood stained the walls and ceiling.
The entire floor had turned into a slaughterhouse.
Inside Alfred and Bernard’s office, the two men hid under a large wooden desk.
Their bodies trembled violently.
Since joining the Hollow Trust, they had done countless terrible things.
They had extorted money from helpless families.
They had destroyed homes.
They had threatened and beaten innocent people.
But never in their lives had they felt fear like this.
"What is taking the police so long?" Alfred whispered angrily.
For the first time in his life, he found himself desperately hoping the police would arrive quickly.
Bernard remained silent.
He was too terrified to even speak.
Inside his mind, he silently prayed.
Please... please don’t come into this room...
Ignore this office...
Unfortunately...
His prayers were not answered.
Bang!
The office door exploded inward.
The two men hugged themselves tightly under the desk.
"It’s over... it’s over..." Bernard cried softly, tears forming in his eyes.
Heavy footsteps echoed inside the room.
Thud.
Thud.
Each step made their hearts pound harder.
Their muscles stiffened.
Cold sweat drenched their backs.
They even held their breath, afraid that the sound of breathing might reveal their hiding place.
Then, they saw a pair of boots stop directly in front of the desk.
At that moment, the room felt unbearably small.
It was as if the walls were closing in around them.
Then a calm voice spoke.
"Will you come out... or do you want to be dragged out?"
The voice stunned them.
Alfred and Bernard stared at each other in shock.
"I won’t ask twice."
"A-Ah! Yes!"
The two men quickly crawled out from under the desk.
Their bodies trembled as they slowly raised their heads.
When they saw the young man standing before them, their hearts nearly stopped.
Silver hair.
Deep blue eyes.
"You...!" Alfred gasped.
Shock filled his face.
How is this possible?! both men screamed in their minds.
Why is he alive?
Why wasn’t he killed in the Abyss?
And how did he manage to return to the surface?
Countless questions flooded their minds.
Never in their wildest dreams had they imagined that Thoren would return alive.
Thoren watched them quietly for a moment.
He observed the mixture of fear, confusion, and disbelief flashing across their faces.
Then he chuckled softly.
"I believe we have a lot to discuss," he said calmly.
He paused before continuing.
"But first... I need to make sure you understand the situation."
Thoren slowly turned his head toward the hooded figures standing beside him.
His voice became cold.
"Break their arms and legs."
The undead servants moved instantly.
Their movements were precise and merciless.
"Noooooooo!"
Alfred and Bernard screamed in terror.
A moment later, the office echoed with the horrifying sounds of bones breaking.
