Kyle left the village elders startled.

For some reason, they had expected him to deny the claims of an unknown god existing.

The claims of him being the apostle of this unknown god.

To them, the gods were merely a myth, a myth created for those who wished to believe there’s something beyond their understanding.

But instead Kyle confirmed the rumors to be true, not even showing any signs of nervousness.

Seeing the shock displayed on their faces, Kyle couldn’t help but smile, "It seems my revelation is quite shocking"

"Was it shocking that the gods truly exist?" Kyle asked.

One of the village elders cleared his throat, his eyes clearly observed Kyle, "Mr. Traveler, how certain are your claims?"

"Are you simply trying to hide your overwhelming strength under the pretense of serving a god?" The elder questioned.

Everyone had their gaze glued to Kyle, no one spoke, not attempting to disturb Kyle’s next words.

Kyle softly exhaled "Well I expected such, it’s not easy for one to accept the existence of mighty gods"

"But since my god is quite benevolent, he won’t punish you for denying his existence" Kyle’s lips curled into a faint smile.

It would be a lie if he said he wasn’t enjoying all of this.

Lying to mortals, deceiving them with his crafty tongue.

’Is this how it feels to be a god?’ Kyle lingered for a moment before speaking again.

"Since you deny the existence of my god, and are not his followers, I have no reason to explain the existence of my deity’s authority"

"As his apostle, his blessings flows through my veins, his name will soon be known across the continents" Kyle grinned, his arms folded.

There was momentarily silence in the throne room, all the village elders were too stunned to speak.

In the end, the sexy village elder was the one who broke the silence, all attention drifted towards her.

Her lustful eyes fell upon Kyle once again, "In that case, allow me to apologise on behalf of my brothers who stood against the representative of a divine god"

"Please forgive them" Kyle’s shrugged, he waved his hand "That isn’t an issue" He paused for a second, "There’s no need to punish mere mortals for their ignorance to the Divine world"

"And besides my god is a merciful one" Kyle added. The village chief nodded with a smile.

"I’m happy to know that, to conclude today’s meeting, Traveler Kyle will be forgiven for his crimes" Her voice reverberated through the air.

At first Kyle was shocked, he had totally forgotten that this seductive woman was in fact the ruler of this village.

She continued "But that doesn’t mean he won’t be punished for the sin of hurting one of our own"

Her lips curled into a faint grin, she bit her lips, Kyle caught a glimpse of it, his heart skipped a beat, ’This whore’ Kyle mumbled.

"But I’ll be the one who decides the punishment of this gentleman, in other not to incur the wrath of a god upon our realm"

"We must not pursue this case any further" She concluded, to his suprise, not a single village elder stood against the declaration of their chief.

It seems even though they want to reprimand Kyle for his lustful actions, they feared who he served.

Fighting against powerful mortals could be dangerous but against a divine god?

One whose existence is unknown.

Even they knew their own limitations.

Kyle smiled in satisfaction, he nodded, "The village chief is wise, thank you for your understanding" He bowed his head.

The village chief nodded, "Please brother Cory, escort our traveler guest back to his room" She waved her hand.

Cory nodded, he signalled Kyle that it was time to leave the throne room, Kyle obeyed.

Both figures left the throne room.

Leaving the village chief to discuss with her elders.

Stepping out of the village chief’s palace, Kyle caught the glares of numerous soldiers fixed on him.

There were a few who wanted to confirm the fate of this handsome and strong but mysterious Traveler.

One rumored to be the apostle of an unknown god.

It would have been a lie if they weren’t shocked to see Kyle walking out of the palace unbothered.

Still escorted by the powerful, handsome Jade Knight, Cory Renova.

Sounds of whispers and mumurs echoed through the air, many of the men present were degrading the Traveler but none dared to block his path.

Why?

Because Cory Renova was the one escorting him, the powers of a Jade Knight couldn’t be underestimated.

Within a few minutes, Kyle returned back to his room, he who held the keys to his room, unlocked the door.

And both figures walked into the room.

Kyle glanced at Cory with a curious look on his face, "You should have already completed your task by escorting me back to my room"

"Why are you still here? Cory" Kyle asked.

Cory took a deep breath, "I want to know about this unknown god of yours" He admitted with a sigh.

"If there’s a chance by following him, that I would be blessed by his wondrous powers, I would serve him with my life" Cory stated.

Kyle’s eyes gleamed, a lopsided grin appeared on his lips, He took a deep breath, "Its quite unfortunate that my god can’t make you an apostle"

"A deity needs only one apostle, but if you choose to serve him willingly, he will mark you as a dedicated follower"

Kyle didn’t know if what he spoke was the truth.

If a god could have more than one apostle but he’s still a newborn god, there are many things he’s yet to know.

Cory’s eyes flickered with determination "And by becoming his dedicated follower, would I receive his blessing?" He asked.

Kyle nodded, "Yes, all who follows my god will receive his blessing but those marked by his divinity will be connected to his godliness"

Cory’s heart skipped a beat, overwhelmed with joy, "Make me a dedicated follower, I want to follow your god" Cory fell on his knees.

Although Kyle’s expression remained indifferent, his heart was overwhelmed with joy.

His luck truly was on a whole different level.

By achieving his first dedicated follower, he might actually figure out what it actually means to become a god. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

He glanced at Cory for a few minutes before speaking, "My god is pleased with your servitude and he has given me the permission to initiate the divine marking"

He paused for a second, "But before we proceed, you must first understand the truth about my god, his personification, his existence"

"The god I serve is Crimson, the God of Lust" Kyle declared. Cory’s eyes widened in shock.

"The...the God of Lust?" He was stupefied but Kyle took a step forward, not bothered by the flustered emotions of Cory.

He stretched forth his hand, he could feel it.

He knew the next step would burn his Cosmic Essence.

And to his suprise, the Pandora Box manifested it.

A transparent cyan panel appeared before his eyes.
