[Master of the Western Continents Minhyuk. Amidst the concern of many, he gained support from the people of the Luvien Empire.]
[What is the reason why the Supreme embraced the Luvien Empire? Is it because of his wide and never-ending generosity, or is it because the food in the Luvien Empire tasted the best?]

Of course, the articles that were posted were mostly about Minhyuk, but there were also articles about the others.

***
Hongdae, the street of youth.
There was a kind of food that could attract the attention of many youths as they strolled the lively streets of Hongdae. It was a very delicious snack that was best eaten on a cold day.
A couple wearing hats and covering most of their faces with scarves stood in front of a snack bar on this cold day. The man ate three fish cake skewers in a row before putting down the stick.
“Kghhk! It’s really delicious! As expected, fish cakes sold on the street are the best~!” The man chuckled as he drank the soup in the paper cup.
The woman looked at him in confusion and asked, “You’re just eating three skewers? No, wait. Don’t you usually eat four skewers of fish cakes when we stroll the streets? Minhyuk, you’ll lose weight if you do that?”
“I’m full.”
“You’re full?” The woman asked, surprised when he said that he was full. However, there was a small smile on her face.
The man could only laugh. He was a bit embarrassed when he said those words, too.
After paying for the fish cake, the two walked away. The couple was, of course, Minhyuk and Genie, or Jihye. They walked affectionately until they reached their car.
“Alright. Then, shall we connect to Athenae first?” Minhyuk asked.
Jihye nodded in agreement. “It’s today, right? The day Minhyuk’s going to treat everyone to a meal!”
“Yep, that’s right. I have always wished that a day like this would come in my life. I’m glad I can treat everyone to a meal even though it’s inside the game.” Minhyuk smiled.
“Are you not nervous about tonight?”
“Nervous? Why would I feel nervous?”
“As expected of my boyfriend! You really have nerves of steel! If it were me, I wouldn't be able to speak because I’m too nervous.” Jihye trembled; the thought alone was enough to leave her scared.
The two, who went back to Minhyuk’s house, accessed Athenae together.
***
Once he connected to Athenae, Minhyuk began to cook. He cooked a variety of dishes himself and ensured that each dish had generous servings. He had made plenty enough to fill the long table.
After he finished serving the dishes, Minhyuk saw guests appear one after another. Among the guests that he invited, three people appeared much earlier than he expected.
“Ah, president! Thank you for coming.”
“It’s an invitation from the Pillar of the Gourmands, of course, I will come.”
It was none other than President Kang Taehoon. He stepped forward and shook hands with Minhyuk. There was also Team Leader Park Minggyu and Lee Minhwa standing right next to him.
“I heard that the two of you are dating? Aren’t office romances banned?”
“Ahem.”
“Ho... Hoho...”
Team Leader Park and Lee Minhwa looked flustered and awkward as they tried to read President Kang Taehoon’s expression. Right on time, the door opened, and countless other guests poured in, saving the two from further embarrassment.
Ben, Black Dragon, Elpis, Gorfido, Elizabeth, Rundalk, Brod, Locke, Khan, Genie, Conir, Herakel, Philos, and many more entered the room. There was also Arlene, Philip, Bender, and the other Transcendentals, all the way to Athenae. Everyone in his family tree was invited. But they weren’t the only ones. Minhyuk seemed to have sent invitations to hundreds of people.
Of course, standing right next to Minhyuk was Beanie.
“Oink! (I’m hungry, oink!)”
Everyone stared at the table of food with expressions filled with excitement and anticipation.
Minhyuk sat in the middle of the long table and said, “Well then, let’s dig in?”
Their meal finally began.
President Kang Taehoon, Team Leader Park Minggyu, and Lee Minhwa were finally able to try Minhyuk’s cooking for the first time.
“Wow... This flavor...”
“It’s really delicious.”
“I can’t believe I’m eating a meal prepared by the Pillar of the Gourmands!”
That wasn’t all.
“Hoho. Your Majesty’s cooking is delicious as always. Once the meal is over, I will treat everyone here to a cup of coffee!”
“Ooooooooh!”
They all chatted leisurely and joked around with each other.
“Hoho. Speaking of, there was this one time when His Majesty ate 250 chickens in one go! Can you imagine how shocked this old man was back then?”
“Hahahahaha!”
“Fufufufu!”
At that moment, Minhyuk, who was eating the delicious food beside them, gently placed his fork down on his plate. Everyone turned to look at him. Black Dragon, also known as Kang Minhoo—Minhyuk’s father—smiled softly from right next to him.
Then, Minhyuk expressed his heartfelt and honest feelings. He said, “I’m full.”
A small smile bloomed on the faces of everyone present when they heard him say those words. All of them wanted to hear those words from him.
Eating beside them with a smile on his face, saying, “I’m full,” and knowing when was the right time to put down his utensils, these were ordinary daily routines for others. But that was not the case for him before. Now, it had slowly integrated into his daily routine again!
“Hoho, Your Majesty. We will still have some cake and coffee for dessert, hmm? Are you not going to eat dessert?”
“Ah! Even if I’m completely cured, I still have to eat that. You all know that there’s a special stomach reserved for desserts!”
“Hahahahahahahaha!”
A loud and friendly laughter erupted from the table. Minhyuk stared at them one by one. These were the people who were dear and precious to him, the ones he was grateful to. After all, their existence was truly the greatest help in Minhyuk’s road to a complete cure.
At that moment, Obren spoke as he cut his steak with his knife.
[Idiot. You’re going to that place today, right? But that doesn’t mean that you’re going to neglect this place, no?]
Obren seemed worried that the times that he would see Minhyuk would be greatly reduced after this day. But it was not just him. Even Ben, who had been smiling happily, stopped laughing.
“Oiiiiiink...”
Beanie, who had been happily eating his food, looked down sadly while he chewed the food in his mouth. Everyone present looked at Minhyuk with a sad expression on their faces.
Minhyuk had already achieved everything that he wanted. He had overcome his rare disease, eating addiction, and even became the Master of the Western Continents. He had already achieved everything that there was to achieve in this place. Perhaps that was the reason why Obren asked like that. Most of the people present were NPCs who were worried about the same thing that Obren was worried about.
Minhyuk looked at all of them silently. Each and every single one of these people was dear and precious to him. In fact, it was not even an exaggeration to say that they were the ones who made him who he was now. If these people weren’t here, then Minhyuk could confidently say that he wouldn’t be able to smile and laugh like this.
“Of course not. For me, this place is my other world.”
This was the world that created who he was now.
[Stupid.]
“Hohohoho. What a relief.”
“Conir! Conir feels very happy!”
“Herakel feels good!”
Athenae, the world in which these people existed. This was another world where Minhyuk wished to live forever with them. He would not neglect this world. He would not reduce the times he accessed the game. Just like always, he would live happily with them and continue to eat delicious dishes.
***
Hundreds of reporters were lined up in front of the Ilhwa Group’s headquarters located in Gangnam. They were all waiting for someone.
“It’s today, right?”
“Yes, this is a historic moment.”
“Kghhk. My god. Ilhwa Group will definitely grow into an even bigger and better group.”
“That’s natural! It’s a matter of fact.”
At that moment, several black cars stopped in front of the headquarters, and several sturdy, tough men in suits got out and stood in line.
Minhyuk, with his hair brushed up handsomely and set with pomade, stood tall at 185 centimeters in a gray suit as he stepped out of the Rolls-Royce in the middle of the line of cars.
Cameras flashed nonstop as he walked toward the entrance of the headquarters, where a line of people were bowing politely and waiting for him. Under their guidance, Minhyuk stepped into the elevator and disappeared from the reporters' view.
***
At the same time.
Dozens of Ilhwa Group executives sat in one of the company’s conference rooms and stared at the closed door. A hint of anxiety and panic appeared on their faces when they heard the sound of someone approaching.
Thud, thud, thud!
The sound of footsteps echoed in their ears as dozens of people got closer and closer to the conference room. Finally, someone opened the door. The first person to enter was a bodyguard wearing a black suit.
Dozens of bodyguards stepped inside the conference room. They stood in line with their backs against one side of the room. And finally...
Thud, thud, thud.
The sound of someone gulping dryly echoed in the otherwise silent room as they listened to the gradually approaching footsteps.
Secretary Park Munsoo, who sat among the executives, unknowingly stood up from his seat.
Thud, thud, thud.
The owner of the footsteps finally appeared and stepped through the doors. Unlike the bodyguards, he was wearing a neatly pressed gray suit and had a confident look on his face.
He stepped inside without bowing to anyone. He did not even greet anyone first. He just walked toward the seat at the center of the room and exuded a charisma that no one present could rival.
Thud, thud, thud.
The executives who stood at the top of the Korean business community stared at the young man, observing as he looked around and adjusted his tie. They had no choice but to stare at him.
This was someone who had overcome a deadly disease, a talent that far surpassed anyone, and would lead the Ilhwa Group to even greater heights. He was someone whom the world was currently and would always pay attention to.
The man brushed the plaque placed in the middle of the table and finally sat down. He stared at the executives lined up on both sides of the long table and, with both confidence and ease, he said, “I’m Ilhwa Group’s successor, Kang Minhyuk.”
<Gourmet Gaming> End.

Translator’s Note
Hello everyone! This is CC!
This marks the end of Gourmet Gaming. It has been a very filling journey (definitely gained a few pounds while translating this novel)!
There have been plenty of funny moments, sad moments, and very questionable moments (I’m looking at you, sea honey) in this novel. But I hope that we all take into consideration that this novel is a work of fiction. Sometimes, let’s just... let the logic go. Lol.
Of course, there were many touching moments in the novel too! I often find myself crying when I was translating those parts, even though I have already read it before. It’s just that... someone’s been chopping onions beside me! There are also exciting parts that made my heart beat fast and frustrating parts that left me grabbing my hair in frustration.
But the best part is and will always be the food! Have you tried them? Or learned how to cook some dishes? We have some people who have shared recipes in the comments and I’m pretty sure those are good recipes. If not, then I hope that you try cooking them, or at least try some of the food mentioned in the novel. I guarantee that they’re delicious. I swear by the fat in my belly!
Of course, this novel will not be completed without the help of Cosy, Kun, Penguin and LD. They have been a great help and have been a huge boost to this novel.
I hope that you all enjoyed this novel by Writer Park Mingyu as much as I did. And I hope to see you soon!
Hope you all have great and filling meals every day!
Love,
CC.
