Guide to raise my cutie husbands-Chapter 1835: Taking down the master (2)
"See if I don’t tear you apart!" Madam Gong roared as she moved her hand and caused the villagers to stand in a formation as they attacked Yu Dong like rampaging beasts.
Yu Dong leapt back and brandished the sword in her hand as she fought with the villagers. Who knows what this woman did to them, these villagers who were afraid of pain just now—were fighting as if they could not feel any pain at all? freёnovelkiss.com
This woman was indeed quite capable, as she could control so many people at once. But even if this woman was capable, she was nowhere near as capable as Yu Dong.
With her feet moving as fast as possible, Yu Dong cut through the formation quickly; it was as if she was wielding a hot knife and cutting through butter.
When Madam Gong saw Yu Dong was charging towards her without caring about the life and death of the villager. That was when she realised that the woman in front of her was considerably different than the ones she had faced before. Her eyes flickered as she took out a talisman and hurled it at Yu Dong.
Wu Junfen, who noticed it, immediately sent another talisman, which caused the talisman that Madam Gong hurled at Yu Dong to explode.
Though she was really fast, Yu Dong still ended up getting injured on her right arm. She looked at the slash on her arm and gritted her teeth before turning to look at Madam Gong.
"You will pay for this." And this time around she didn’t wait for Madam Gong to attack her; she used her spiritual energy to cut through the woman’s calf.
"Argh!"
Madam Gong screamed as she looked down and was shocked when she saw an old, dry root sticking out of her flesh. She raised her head and looked at Yu Dong in shock. This woman—she had powers as well?
Though Madam Gong was scared, she was also filled with greed. If she could kill Yu Dong, then the pill that she could refine from her blood and flesh was obviously really good. Her greed governed her rationality and instead of running away, she turned on her feet and charged at Yu Dong.
The sooner she could kill her, the sooner she would get her hands on this woman’s blood!
Yu Dong narrowed her eyes; she raised her hand and delivered a strike at Madam Gong without wasting another second.
Madam Gong was forced to retreat as she tried to find a way to get her hands on Yu Dong. However, Yu Dong had no intention of letting this woman off so easily. She stabbed the woman on her vital points with her sword and the dried-up roots and plants.
Madam Gong struggled vigorously but no matter what she did, she could not get away from Yu Dong.
Taking advantage of this, Yu Dong sneered and then stabbed the woman right in the heart. The sound of blood splattering all over the ground echoed in Yu Dong’s ears as she sighed as she pulled the sword out of the bosom of the woman.
She watched as the body of the woman swayed and then turned to look at the villagers who paused in their attack before falling on the ground.
"Are they dead?" Yu Dong asked.
Wu Junfen crouched down and then studied the breathing of the villagers and nodded before saying, "They are dead. Their breathing is faint and it won’t take long for them to stop breathing completely."
Though Wu Junfen could save these villagers, she believed that they deserved death. After all, the things that they have done were not human at all!
"Are you alright?" She asked Yu Dong, who looked at the gash on her arm and nodded. "I am fine."
As she spoke, she took out a bag of water and poured it on her arm and cleaned it. Once she was done cleaning, she efficiently wiped an ointment on her wound and then said to Wu Junfen, "Thank you for helping me just now. I would have been gravely injured if not for you."
"Humph, who asked you to be so careless?" Wu Junfen was really angry. When she thought about how Madam Gong actually sent such a powerful talisman to her granddaughter, she wished she could skin that woman alive.
If she hadn’t saved Yu Dong just now, she would have lost more than just an arm!
"Watch out!" Wu Junfen had just turned to look at Yu Dong when she saw the corpse of Madam Gong get up from the ground and attack Yu Dong again.
Yu Dong dodged to one side as she looked at the corpse that was moving on its own. She narrowed her eyes and then raised the hilt of the sword to attack it but before she could, the corpse pirouetted in the air and then attacked her like a bullet shot out of the gun.
Seeing this, Yu Dong jumped to the left and the corpse landed on its four. It clicked its teeth before charging right back at Yu Dong. However, this time around, as it attacked, Wu Junfen narrowed her eyes and hurled a set of talismans at the woman.
Madam Gong’s corpse was pushed back but it was nowhere near enough to stop her.
"Fall back," Wu Junfen told Yu Dong, who nodded and stepped away from the corpse that snarled at them and then jumped in the air once again.
Wu Junfen unsheathed her sword and swung at the corpse before searching for the Gu worm that was controlling the corpse.
Her eyes moved to the head and to the heart and when it came to a rest at the abdomen of the corpse, she didn’t think twice before raising the sword in her hand and stabbing forward.
The sword pierced the belly of the corpse and this time around, rotten black blood gushed out with a slimy worm that resembled the carefully raised Gu worm.
