Harry Potter: The Legend of Nero Ravenclaw-Chapter 101: The Truth About Muzen
Chapter 101 - 101: The Truth About Muzen
Muzen's voice was steady as he continued his tale, his eyes carrying the weight of a truth long hidden from the world.
"As I faced myself during my countless meditations, I became obsessed with finding a solution to the unbalance within me.
I spent weeks scouring every text I could find.
Ancient scrolls, forbidden tomes, records of lost civilizations, even Muggle philosophy.
Anything that could provide insight into my growing predicament.
Time was pressing, and I knew that if I did nothing, the principles inside me would tear me apart."
He sighed, the memory clearly weighing on him.
"I had accepted that a part of me was attuned to Void and Muga, one side of existence, the absence of self, the dissolution of all things.
But another part of me craved Muso, the Peerless State, the absolute dominance over one's domain.
And within that craving, I sensed the stirrings of another principle, one I could not yet grasp, but that opposed Void at its very core.
My soul, my very existence, was splitting down the middle. If I did not act, my essence would collapse upon itself."
A long pause stretched between them before Muzen spoke again, his voice quieter now.
"I resolved to do the unthinkable: I would split myself into two."
Nero's breath caught. "Split yourself?"
Muzen nodded. "A single body cannot contain two extremely conflicting absolute principles, unless special circumstances.
But that was not my case.
If I wished to embody both paths without destruction, I needed to separate them completely.
Two bodies, two minds, two souls.
Each one the incarnation of the principle they embodied."
"The ritual took months to prepare.
I had to acquire the rarest of materials: an ancient Philosopher's Stone, celestial iron harvested from meteors, the blood of a yokai lord who had mastered astral separation.
Each component served a purpose: stabilizing the split, ensuring my soul could be divided while still retaining cohesion, and forging a vessel for the part of me that would separate."
He gestured, as if recalling the exact moment of the ritual.
"The process was delicate. To sever a soul is no simple feat.
First, I inscribed a vast array, an intricate mandala that spanned the floor of an entire mountain shrine, drawn in liquid silver infused with magical energy.

At its center, two empty shells, bodies forged from flesh and alchemy, prepared to house the parts of my soul.
One of these forms would take in the Void and Muga, embracing the Absence of Self.
The other would inherit Muso and the yet-unknown principle, taking in the will of Peerless Domination."
He clenched his fist. "Then came the most painful part. The moment of separation."
Nero's imagination painted a vivid picture.
A chamber of ancient stone, silver lines glowing as magic surged through them.
A lone man kneeling at its center, surrounded by bodies that had never lived.
"I began the incantation.
Magic surged through my core, my soul unraveling like strands of silk.
Have you ever experienced being torn apart from within?
It is not pain. It is beyond pain. It is the unraveling of existence itself."
His hands trembled slightly before he steadied them.
"I felt my consciousness split.
I could no longer perceive the world as one being.
One half of me surrendered to Muga, to Void, dissolving into the great emptiness.
The other half seized Muso, claiming its dominance over all it beheld. And then..."
He closed his eyes.
"We awoke."
A voice interrupted the silence.
"This was the best solution we could devise at that time."
Nero's head snapped toward the entrance.
A figure stepped forward, one who looked exactly like Muzen, yet carried an entirely different presence.
His hair, unlike Muzen's, was a deep shade of crimson, flowing past his shoulders like liquid fire.
His expression bore none of Muzen's calm detachment.
This man radiated presence: absolute confidence, an undeniable aura of control.
Nero instinctively tensed, as if standing before a force of nature.
The newcomer walked past Nero, standing beside Muzen. He pointed toward him.
"He is the incarnation of Muga. The embodiment of Void." His voice was smooth, yet commanding. "I call him Mu, for he represents emptiness."
Muzen, no, Mu gave a slow nod, his expression unchanging.
The red-haired man then turned to face Nero fully, his golden eyes sharp. "And I..." He placed a hand over his own chest. "I am the incarnation of Muso."
Nero felt the weight behind those words, a force that seemed to assert itself over the very space around him.
"I embody Peerlessness, but not just Muso. The Principle that opposes Void, Cosmos."
Mu, now fully established as the incarnation of Muga and Void, remained silent as his counterpart continued.
"I call myself Zen, to represent completeness."
Nero's mind reeled. Void and Cosmos... Muga and Muso.
Two halves of a being that had once been whole.
Zen's gaze bore into Nero's own. "The outside world believes we are one person. And thus, we have continued to call ourselves Muzen."
A deep silence settled between them, the weight of the revelation settling into Nero's mind.
Two men, yet one. Two existences, yet intertwined.
One, the Absence of Self, embracing nothingness.
The other, the Unrivaled State, standing above all.
Together, they had forged a legend.
