Heaven, Earth, Me-Chapter 1500. A Sacred Mountain.
Morning light poured down the window, gentle rays of light hitting the curtains and falling onto the sleeping beauty on the bed. The woman, as if tickled by the sunrays, moved slightly, rustling the sheets around her.
After humming a bit, she slowly moved her body, propping herself up with dazed and watery eyes. "Morning already?"
The sunrays fell on her extremely long blonde hair, her watery blue eyes shining with innocence and purity.
As she asked, a tall woman with curves, red hair, and green eyes, manifested in the air lying on her side. "Woke up already? Quite early for you, right?"
The woman on the bed puffed her cheeks. "You are teasing me again, Mirrory!"
Mirrory chuckled. "This time, at least, you only slept for a month, Angel."
Angel blinked her dazed eyes and murmured. "A month..."
Her blue eyes, as she woke up, slowly changed as she gained a faintly cold look. "Did it take that long for me to recover?"
Mirrory sighed, her green eyes looking a bit helpless. "You used my strength to annihilate that sect. What do you think? There were a few people who were stronger than you. Of course, it took some burden on your body."
Angel nodded, her expression becoming somewhat indifferent. "Bothersome people. Didn’t I tell them I was already in a relationship? They even tried to pressure me to join them. Destroying them is what they deserve. After all, Yasenia always said that you can’t leave threats alive for too long." 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
Mirrory didn’t answer. The last few decades had not been kind to Angel, and while she had the strength to protect herself, the process had sliced away most of the previous naivety she still retained while under Yasenia’s wings.
Angel moved out of her comfortable bed, waving her hand to cover her curvy body with a plain white robe. Her golden hair flowed down to her calves, and her blue eyes reflected the sun rays beautifully.
"Where are we going today?"
Mirrory landed on the ground, speaking faintly. "We must go to the Sacred Mountain to get that treasure, remember?"
Angel nodded. "I do. The [Holy Dragon Blood Drop], right?"
Mirrory smiled. "Yes. However, are you sure you want to go? You are not in any sect. So, as a rogue cultivator, you will naturally face fierce opposition."
Angel stepped out of the balcony, her foot forming a transparent, iridescent glass platform under her naked little feet. "Of course, we are going. That drop will allow the fading Blood Essence in me to gain some vitality, right?"
"It will." Mirrory nodded. "With that drop, your constitution will also get strengthened. Now that we’ve managed to upgrade all three cultivation path techniques to Immortal-level techniques, you will be able to digest it perfectly fine."
Angel nodded, and a second later, the platform boomed forward. Her body was like a streak of light, covering thousands of kilometers each passing second.
Mirrory easily caught up, landing on Angel’s platform as they flew together.
It didn’t take long before Angel arrived at the base of the Sacred Mountain. Currently, the mountain was enveloped in a barrier, with many forces gathered all around.
The second Angel appeared many eyes moved over. Clearly, she was quite renowned.
"Is that the Blood Crystal Witch?"
"Yes. Don’t let yourself be deceived by her appearance. If you anger her, you won’t be able to resist."
"That fierce?"
"A month ago, she personally went and exterminated the [Blue Ocean Wave Sect]. The Sect Master of that sect was seemingly smitten by her beauty and tried to court her too aggressively."
"No way. Just for that, she annihilated the sect?"
"Of course not, the trigger was that the Sect Master insulted her mysterious lover. No one knows if he or she exists, but all who had mocked her for it had not had a good end."
As those people spoke, Angel’s indifferent blue eyes moved over. "What do you mean you don’t know if she exists or not? Are you implying something?"
The man who spoke instantly paled, quickly forcing a smile as he shook his head. "Of course not, Lady Blood Crystal Witch, I am sure that your lover is perfectly healthy."
"Lies." Angel smiled faintly. "I hate people who lie the most."
Two giant crystal maws opened wide around him, clamping down before anyone could react.
CRUNCH!
The transparent crystal maws were instantly stained red, quite accurately showing everyone why she gained her nickname.
A woman with flowing black hair and dark eyes flew over, her eyes cold and her voice pressuring. "Blood Crystal Witch, we are not here to cause indiscriminate slaughter."
Angel looked over and smiled faintly. "Then, I suggest those who don’t want to die keep their mouths in check. You can eat indiscriminately, but you can’t say whatever you please, right?"
The woman looked at Angel for a few seconds and then snorted. While she didn’t like Angel, she was quite afraid of her. In the past, a Level 5 Transcendence Realm cultivator tried to attack her when she was just a Level 2 Transcendence Cultivator.
The result was an absolute slaughter of the other party. While it was somewhat close at first, once the battle dragged on for five minutes, Angel’s counteroffensive completely slaughtered the other side.
Mirrory was not surprised at the time. After all, as a Saint Inheritor, Mirrory was teaching her top notch cultivation methods, guiding her to consume many heavenly treasures, and even helped her find a Glass and Light Natural Treasure. To say that she was armed to the teeth was an understatement.
Angel ignored everyone and looked at the barrier. Her blue eyes flashed with profound energy, her [Truth Intent Domain] colliding with the weakening barrier.
Most people frowned, looking over.
After a few minutes, Angel’s lips arched faintly. "Found you."
She stepped forward, a dozen formations manifesting around her, made entirely out of glass. Then, with a simple wave of her hand, multicolored auroras bombarded a single point.
BOOM!
The barrier around the Sacred Mountain opened wide, and Angel stepped forward, quickly disappearing into the mountain.
The black-haired woman stood there stiffly, her eyes widening. "W-What? How? Wasn’t the formation here a powerful Supreme Grade Natural Formation?"
Before anyone could react, the barrier healed itself, quickly recovering and closing the hole Angel had created.
Everyone looked at each other, and they quickly began bombarding the same spot Angel struck. The formation wobbled dangerously.
Angel ignored the commotion behind her and looked around, her blue eyes analytical. "Hm... Where do you think it is?"
Mirrory looked around and smiled. "Didn’t you tell me not to hand-feed you everything? This is a good time to try to search it yourself."
Angel pouted slightly, her soft cheeks puffing for a moment. Then, she sighed. "Alright, I’ll search for it myself. [Truth Intent Domain]."
In a single instant, a large part of the mountain fell under her powerful domain. This fluctuation alerted many ferocious beasts lingering in the Sacred Mountain.
ROAR!
Ignoring the earthshaking beastly roars, Angel quickly found some truth strands that guided her to a nearby powerful treasure. With a single step, she crossed the distance quickly, arriving in front of a wide-open cave.
"Hm... This doesn’t look like the place where the [Holy Dragon Blood Drop] would be hidden."
Her head tilted to the side adorably, her finger gently tapping her soft cheeks. "Well, a treasure is a treasure. Let’s see what’s inside."
Angel was not reckless, though. She landed at the entrance of the cave, and then poured her spiritual sense inside. Her blue eyes analyzed the entrance as well, and after a while, a flash of understanding flashed in her eyes. "Oh? There is a trapping formation? No. Is it more of a trial formation? This Sacred Mountain is quite special. Probably a mix of natural and handmade."
Mirrory nodded. "An expert seems to have used this mountain in the past as training grounds. Now, abandoned, it only retains the passive functionality."
"Expert... My level or yours?"
"Yours, of course." Mirrory chuckled. "You’d have to possess heaven-defying luck to find something done by a true godly expert in this low-tier Heaven."
Angel blinked and smirked. "Oh, the grand Mirrory was found in a low-level Heaven. Who knew, you were not a good treasure? Found in a lowly Heavenly Layer by me."
Mirrory flicked the girl’s forehead. "Teasing me now, Angel? You’ve become quite brave."
Angel chuckled while rubbing her forehead. Then, she looked inside the cave and jumped.
Light flashed behind her for a second, sealing the entrance. Then, from the depths of the giant cave, a deep and resounding roar burst with brutal ferocity.
Angel looked in the distance with her Spiritual Sense, seeing the giant creature rushing her way. "That’s... how was it called? Ah, [Demon Claw Dark Dragon], right?"
Mirrory nodded. "A quite low-level species of the Demon world. Well, for this Heavenly Layer, it is quite formidable."
The dragon was several kilometers long. However, as it arrived and saw two women standing in front of it, even the berserk dragon felt something amiss.
Angel raised her hand and spoke softly. "[Annihilation Crystal Formation Net]."
Her Glass and Light Natural Treasures whooshed out together with her energy. By the time the Demon Dragon had taken three steps, it saw countless complex geometric shapes around itself, with some very clear nodes.
Then, the soft and cute voice of Angel echoed lightly. "Disappear."
BOOM!!!
The Sacred Mountain shook, the cave flashing with a powerful light like a beacon. Inside the cave, the Level 3 Mythical Core Dragon was instantly obliterated, its scales crumbling down as the flesh and bones broke down.
After the bombardment, the dragon fell down heavily, a large tremor accompanying it. Angel stepped forward, touching it for a second. Light enveloped it, storing it inside her Spatial Ring.
"Not bad materials." Then, not bothering with anything else, she dove deep into the cave.
Once they arrived, Angel noticed that the guarding formations around a treasure were breaking down. Looking at the treasure, Angel’s eyes showed a trace of interest. "A shield?"
The shield she was holding was the one Yasenia had given her many years ago, a mid-level Transcendence-Ranked Treasure. However, as her strength grew, Angel had begun feeling that this shield was not keeping up.
Of course, she had found other powerful shield-type treasures, but she was reluctant to part with [Heart Of Glass]. "Hm..."
Angel struggled for a second, and Mirrory spoke. "Take it. You can use this Shield when your opponent is tricky. Otherwise, the Heart of Glass is enough."
Hearing that convincing argument, she stepped forward and took the shield. Once she did, the formation sealing the cave shattered. "Alright, next is the [Holy Dragon Blood Drop]."
