"You plan to take advantage of the time your aunt falls into the greatest fall of despair?"

Adria asked, her eyes narrowing. Even that action felt like a divine beauty in the eyes of Azrail, her small movements causing a slight headache as her beauty tried to overwhelm Azrail’s mind. Holding onto his sanity, Azrail nodded his head as he spoke.

"That’s the plan. I plan to strengthen our bond immensely during that time."

His words brought a certain gleam into Adria’s eyes as she spoke.

"Why do I feel like things will head in a different direction than what you’re saying?"

Her questioning words only made Azrail smile a bit as he focused on petting the head of Ravenna more, she enjoying it more and more as Adria continued.

"Don’t you feel a sense of pity for your aunt?"

Her voice carried a certain edge as she asked this question, to which Azrail turned to look at Adria, his Qi starting to fill the room as she asked the question.

"How do you think it would have been if I wasn’t in her life, if not having everything around her seeing the truth?"

The weight of the question brought down a certain tough atmosphere, Adria’s eyes flashing at the meaning of that memory, a smile filling her face as she spoke.

"I suppose that is true too."

Her words hinted at her backing down, and seeing so smiled. After which, he heard a chime in his head, a message from the queen’s mother appearing in front of him. Azrail, with a smirk, looked at Adria as he asked.

"Do you want to see me lead the Queen Mother of Olympus to her doom?"

The question had a certain beauty to it, which quickly got Adria’s attention. With a smile that looked dangerous, she spoke.

"Always."

...

Back in the same room that Azrail had first left, he quickly came back as DeathMark, his gaze landing on the figure that was still clouded and hiding. Though it was still hidden, Azrail could feel the emotions turned around. Nobody, not even this woman in front of him, could hide the truth of her soul from him, and he could see the rise in tension in her soul, the previous relaxation gone.

’Looks like the danger of her own prophecy has finally hit her.’

The prophecy was long ago, and Hera lived with the thought that perhaps she could deal with it, even knowing that the prophecies created within Olympus were impossible to fight against. If it said that Hera would fall, then she would fall. Hera, in all her arrogance, kept believing that she would never truly fall, and now there was a crack in her confidence.

’It didn’t take long for Hera to understand that Hades might be involved.’

Azrail mused, the scene in front of him being sent towards Adria, who kept watching as Azrail spoke within the silence.

"I am guessing the information was verified?"

His question led to the Qi around them rising, tensions escalating as Hera spoke in a certain surprised voice.

"Even if I am to take you, you understand the danger of being in my faction, right? Zeus won’t take it lightly."

"Will he be afraid of an ant getting close to the most perfect Goddess in existence?"

His question surely hit right at the pride bone of Hera, who quickly waved her hand. The place around them trembled as a contract appeared right in front of Azrail. It basically contained the rules and regulations of joining Hera’s faction, along with several additions Hera had made to match the special connection between the two of them.

Feeling the subtle soul energy thriving in the contract, Azrail understood that once he signed it, it would bind directly to his soul, matching perfectly with his original soul, such that Azrail wouldn’t be able to get out of it. Since the soul needs to be connected to the node dweller, it’s possible to create true connections with contracts.

’But such contracts cost a fortune because they play with the laws based upon death and souls. Using that even in All-Realm requires special authority.’

Azrail didn’t rush into anything. He took his time to read through the contract that felt fair at first sight, but as he went down the line, several traps and issues that could screw him over were hidden in each clause and several meanings.

’Typical.’

"I assume you are satisfied with the contract?"

Hera asked, in all her pride and confidence, to which Azrail asked All-Seer.

’Mark all the problems in it, make sure it’s airtight.’

And within a second, it was done. With the power of All-Seer processing, it didn’t take more than a moment to get everything done. And even above that, with its capabilities, it went forth to create certain loops and falls that even Hera, with all her mind working full-time, wouldn’t be able to see through.

"I wish to make these changes."

With that, Azrail sent the revised contract back to Hera, who, within the hidden veil, frowned heavily, her eyes flashing with certain anger as she asked.

"Do you think you are worthy of doing this?"

To which Azrail, in that form, just shrugged his shoulders.

"Hey, it’s your life that’s on the line, and it’s not like you have a lot of options left, especially within this Olympus faction."

His words were the bitter truth, and Hera turned silent. Her mind went through several situations, everything around her tight, making her feel great humiliation. She had unlimited power in her hand, yet at this moment, Hera felt smaller than the ant in front of her. Soon, Hera calmed down, her mind racing as she read through the contract one more time.

After which, the whole contract started to play through her mind, several things were fixed as she shared the contract back with Azrail, and some changes were made to the loop which was kept by All-Seer. The funny thing was that the loops found were the ones that All-Seer wanted to be found, leaving behind the truly good ones that could be taken advantage of.

"Looks like we are in agreement."

As Azrail signed it off with his own mark, the contract split into particles, fusing towards his and Hera’s body. The particles soon latched onto his soul, trying to bind the rules to him, yet it couldn’t be completed at all. With the command of Azrail, nothing dared be written with the authority of death within his soul. To the price of death, this was just child’s play.

While this happened, he could also feel the connection that was made towards the Goddess in front of him, a mark that made it such that the two of them would know if either broke any of the rules in the contract. Thus, with it over, Hera relaxed onto her throne, one that was built to chain her by Hephaestus, and spoke.

"What do you plan to do now?"

To this, with a hidden smirk, Azrail spoke.

"Now we rile it all up to create a big bad mess."
