Chapter 111: Commitment Made

William was oblivious to what happened until he saw the backside of Dalton’s pants as he walked into the other room.

"Damn William, you still got it—you can make them hot, so hot in fact they flood out their underwear," Paul said, being a little straightforward.

Donnie knew it was in bad taste but he started to snicker.

After a few minutes and a change of clothing, Stephen and Dalton returned. Dalton started to apologize and was stumbling over his words.

William put his hand on Dalton’s. "That’s okay, I have that effect on nice-looking sexy Genmen like you. You should see Paul here—he still can’t control himself when I get up close to him, and he does it every time I touch him. He leaks a little bit."

"Asshole," Paul said, being a little more direct when he looked at William.

"Yeah, but remember I’m the asshole that loves you and the twins that you carry for me, so I just guess you’ll have to suffer through it because I’m not going anywhere," William replied. "I take care of my children; I love my children and I will take care of the person that’s carrying my child no matter where they live. I have stopped by every morning and check on you at work, Paul, even though I’ve seen you at the house. I still stop by to make sure you’re okay at work, to kiss you and rub that wonderful ass of yours."

"And Dalton, that is something else you’ll have to get used to—I will be checking on you and the baby throughout the pregnancy. That’s if you wish me to be the father, and when you give birth, I’m not gonna disappear into the background and pretend he doesn’t exist because he’s half mine. He’ll be the best of both of us. So I need you to think about what I’m saying and when you come to a decision, have Stephen call me and we can set up arrangements. We’re going to have to have at least 48 hours together because I’m not going to rush you on anything. When it is your first time, things need to be handled nice and slow, with tenderness and care. I’m never going to rush you."

William leaned over and caressed Dalton’s face and gave him one more kiss. "Until we meet again, my love." William got up and motioned for Paul to come on so they could go to the house.

After everyone left and just the three boys were there, Dalton was still shellshocked from William’s last kiss.

"That’s how humans treat their prospective mates," Stephen explained. "That’s nothing like Genmen. Most of the time you meet in a room, they just lay you face down and crawl on you, do their business and leave. Four hours later, you’re so sore you can’t even walk for three days."

Stephen had to agree; William was different than any Genman he had ever seen or heard of, so this would be good for Dalton. Plus the baby would be easier to deliver since it would be a hybrid.

"Damn, maybe next time I’ll go human," Donnie said. "But don’t count on it—I don’t plan on a next time, but who knows? Plans are always subject to change."

It was getting late and Donnie and Stephen both agreed that Dalton should not be out walking back to the bachelor’s dorm. They made the fold-down sofa into a bed and there was no problem with clothing—everything fit all three of them.

"You know, it wouldn’t be that hard to have an extra room or two added to this cottage," Donnie whispered to Stephen. "I’m sure that Mr. Robbie could get it cleared if I told him what was up. Plus we’re going to need more rooms anyhow with the babies—why not do it all at one time? That way Dalton wouldn’t ever have to be alone. We can be right there all through his pregnancy just like he can be there for us. Plus an extra babysitter doesn’t hurt."

Stephen had to agree with Donnie’s logic. They would give Dalton a couple of days to think it over about the possible upcoming pregnancy.

---

The next morning, Donnie and Stephen awoke to the most wonderful smell in the house—breakfast, and Dalton was cooking it. Both of them walked out of their bedrooms to discover Dalton had the most wonderful meal ready and sitting on the breakfast table.

"I thought I needed to thank you some way, and since I can cook fairly good, I figured this was one of the best ways," Dalton said. "I need to go talk to Mr. Zach and tell him that I’ve made a decision. I’m going to let William put a hybrid baby in me. I realize that I have to share my child with its father, but that’s not such a bad thing. He does take care of Paul and he’s always checking on him, so he’s a good man even if he is human. It’s not that I’m not going to be scared when he does get up on me and he tries to put himself in my vent, but my body answered for me last night."

"After my body reacted to his closeness and touch, I had night vision, and when our baby was conceived it was beautiful but it also told me that I was to be surprised when they check the baby—there would be something special and wonderful there. I have no idea what it means, but William will father my child or children if I decide to have more than one by him. He will be the only one that I let within me."

Donnie and Stephen were listening to every word Dalton said as they were scarfing down breakfast.

"You have to teach me how to make this—this is delicious!" Donnie was the first one to speak up. "I’m going to start taking cooking classes, and I have to learn this dish. This is wonderful. Plus anything else you can teach us. Stephen, he can barely boil water—most times he burns it. Nothing against you, roommate, but you need some cooking skills. It’s a good thing Dalton’s going to move in with us because he’s going to have to help us keep these babies nourished."

"You want me to move in here with you two?" Dalton looked at them both.

"We talked about it last night, and it seems that we have made the decision," Stephen replied. "We’re three single guys that are raising our children together and there’s nothing we can’t do. Maybe I’ll learn how to cook. Plus when the babies come, we can support each other—three heads are better than none."

---

Everybody went to their respective jobs, but Dalton stopped by the main house to speak to Mr. Zach first.

Zack looked up and before Dalton could knock on the door, he said, "Come on in the office and shut the door if you want to."

"No sir, I hold no secrets from anyone," Dalton looked and said.

"I have made a decision that will affect the rest of my life. I have decided to conceive a child. I will be a single parent, but the child will have a father in his life. He can see the boy—he can see him anytime he wants to see him. We’re not going to live in the same household ever, no. But he will know that he’s loved by both of his parents. Plus when you raise a hybrid child, he needs to know the truth from both of his parents."

"So you need to start making arrangements for a cottage for the two of you, so you can be settled in when the baby arrives and have his own room."

"No sir, I don’t need a separate cottage. I am going to be rooming with Donnie and Stephen, so I will need another room added onto that cottage for me and the baby if that’s okay. It would be a lot cheaper that way financially with three of us sharing one home, raising our children together so that they can know what a family unit is."

"That’s a wonderful idea, Dalton, it really is, and you are doing the right thing by keeping your friends close to you," Zach said. "So if you don’t mind, may I ask what human is going to father your child?"

"Well, I spoke to a Genman last night and he told me about a wonderful human, and he told me what the human did for him. He told me about the situation that happened and this human was more than willing to help. He went and got the human friend and we all spoke, and I made up my mind overnight. Mr. William Craig will father my child. I’ve already had a night vision of the child that I will carry, and they told me that I will be surprised by what is discovered when I am examined."
