Her Dark Desires-Chapter 51: Psychopath.

Zachary’s schedule for today was so tight that he didn’t even have time to make a proper video call with his wife. He had asked Eliana to have dinner without him because he felt that he wouldn’t leave the company early, and true to his thoughts, Zachary left Sanders group by 8 pm.

The man felt so exhausted, he ended up sleeping in the car.

Ethan glanced at a sleeping Zach and was glad the man was finally getting some rest.

Ethan’s eyes moved to the rearview mirror and saw a car speeding towards him. Deciding to give the idiotic driver space, he yielded, expecting the car to pass. Instead, it swerved in front of him, forcing Ethan to slam on the brakes with a frustrated curse.

Zachary was jolted awake by the sudden stop and frowned at the car in front of them.

Four men putting on black suits came out of the car, and they knocked on Zachary’s window.

Zachary winded down and heard them saying "Don Marcelo has invited you over for a drink."

Zachary looked at them with no fear in his eyes as he asked "And if I refuse?"

"He was hoping that you would be a better company than your wife." One of the men replied.

"Ethan, go back home, we will meet again tomorrow," Zach said and came down from the car.

Ethan watched as Zachary entered their car, and they drove away. He immediately called Ryan and told him what had happened, and instead of hearing Ryan say he would help his brother, the man laughed and ended the call.

"That psychopath," Ethan whispered to himself and just decided to go home as his boss had ordered.

Casiso Deck.

"You just received a call that your brother has been kidnapped, and your response was to laugh?" Kai asked Ryan, who had somehow become his drinking buddy.

"He will be all right," Ryan said as he poured himself a drink.

"Marcelo may harm him. Knowing my father-in-law, I’m sure the reason he has taken Zach is to try to make peace with him and have him accept that it was only Jeremy who had harmed his wife."

Ryan shook his head as he said "Not only that."

"What do you mean?"

"That old man of yours wants to confirm if it was Zach who killed Jeremy. He wants to see for himself what kind of person, Zachary Sanders is and to identify if he is a threat or not."

"Then why are you so relaxed? If Marcelo sees Zach as a threat then he won’t leave the Casiso mansion alive." Kai said with a frown.

"Marcelo can’t do anything to my brother. You see, Zachary already knew from the start that Marcelo would come for him and that is why..."

"That is why what?" Kai asked, urging Ryan to complete his statement but the bastard just smiled and replied

"It’s a secret. Don’t think too much about it, Kai. In forty-eight hours, you will find out everything." Ryan said with a smile and continued his drink.

Lennox Mansion.

"I thought you were smarter than this. Among all women you could sleep with, it had to be Amber Moore. If you wanted a release that much, then you could have gone at it with a whore!" Cecilia shouted at her son.

Jason didn’t know what to say. He hadn’t expected the paparazzi to have caught him and Amber entering the hotel and coming out the next morning. In his line of profession, Scandals were a risk and the fact that he had slept with Eliana’s sister was truly going to be a big scandal. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Shouting at the boy won’t do anything, Cecilia. The mistake has been made, and because of our son’s action, I heard Amber’s chance of getting married to a good family has been destroyed." David said.

"Because of our son’s action? Have you forgotten it takes two to tangle? I’m sure that bitch planned it all. I heard her father was going to get her married to Nolan Woods, so she must have latched on our son and caused this scandal to escape her rotten faith. If no one decides not to marry her, then that’s good; maybe in her next life, she will learn to close her rotten legs." Cecilia said angrily.

Jason felt guilty when his mother spoke ill of Amber and finally said "It wasn’t her fault. We were both drunk and what happened is no different from a one-night stand."

"Then at least tell me you used protection?" Cecilia asked.

Jason looked away from his mother as he answered her "I didn’t."

"You idiot!"

"She swore she was on birth control."

"And you believed her!?" Cecilia shouted, how did she give birth to such an idiot? If this was the time the Moore family was still thriving, maybe she wouldn’t have minded, but now that the family practically had nothing to their name, she was sure that family was trying to leech on hers.

"Calm down, Cecilia. It’s not as bad as you think." David said, trying to salvage the situation, but it was obvious his wife was not having it.

"That girl won’t become a part of my family, it’s never going to happen."

"What exactly is going on here? Why are you so upset that I slept with Amber? I thought you liked Amber. Weren’t you the one who was always telling me that I was lowering myself by following an adopted child? You, yourself, said Amber was the one for me, not Eliana."

"That was in the past," Cecilia replied through gritted teeth.

Jason looked at his mother in disbelief "In the past where they had money. I find it funny that you dislike Amber because the Moore family is no longer rich, especially when you are what you are because of Dad’s wealth. Aren’t you being a hypocrite?"

"Jason! You will not speak to your mother like that." David shouted, and he expected his wife to blow off, but instead, he saw her smile as she walked towards their son.

Jason stood his ground as his mother walked towards him and he was expecting her to insult him, but instead, she calmly said, "You are right. I’m sorry I overreacted."

"What?" Confusion was written all over the young man’s face, he was expecting more shouts and insults but not an apology.

"If you want to have an affair with Amber then do so. Sleep with her as many times as you want after all, that is what whores are good for, but if you dare to put a ring on her, then you will no longer have a mother."

Jason scoffed and said, "Are you threatening to disown me?"

Cecilia laughed as she said "Disown? You are my precious baby, I can never disown you. I will just kill myself."

"Cecilia."

Cecilia ignored her husband and looked into Jason’s eyes as she said, "I’d rather die than see Amber become your wife, ok?"

Jason clenched his fist tightly and just nodded without saying anything.
