Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 399: You Left for a Month and Did WHAT?
Inside the main hall, Raviel and Aveline were in the middle of training.
Heavy metal weights were stacked around them.
Raviel was lifting a massive bar across his shoulders, veins slightly visible on his arms.
Aveline stood nearby, calmly adjusting her grip on a weighted staff before swinging it down in a controlled motion.
The sound of footsteps made them both look up.
Rendric and Arvella entered first.
But what made Raviel pause mid-lift was the man walking behind them.
"...Garion?"
He lowered the weight slowly and set it down with a dull thud.
"It’s been more than a month since you left," Raviel said, wiping sweat from his forehead.
"What’s the matter? Why are you back so early?"
Aveline also stopped her movement.
Her eyes moved past Garion to the group behind him, calm but observant.
Garion smiled lightly. "Relax. Nothing bad."
Raviel crossed his arms. "When you show up suddenly with this many people, it usually means something."
Garion laughed. "Fair point."
He stepped forward. "It’s like this. I want to move the current God Gym members to the God Islands for a while."
Raviel blinked once. "Move them?"
Aveline tilted her head slightly. "Is something wrong with Demon Gate Island?"
He paused, then his expression shifted. "...Don’t tell me the Demon Gate Island was overrun by demons again."
Garion waved his hand. "Nope. Nothing like that."
He leaned back slightly. "I have a project I want to do there. A private project."
Raviel stared at him for a few seconds. "A project."
Garion nodded. "Yeah. And when I activate it, it’ll be loud. Messy. Not exactly safe to have everyone around."
Aveline spoke calmly. "So you need the island empty."
"Exactly."
Raviel exhaled and relaxed his shoulders. "You scared me for a moment."
Garion smirked. "You thought I’d let demons overrun it?"
Raviel snorted. "No. But I’ve learned not to underestimate chaos around you."
The others behind Garion chuckled quietly.
Raviel nodded. "It’s no problem. These islands are yours anyway."
Aveline added gently, "They may stay as long as they wish. We have more than enough space."
Garion smiled. "Good. I figured you wouldn’t complain."
Raviel shook his head. "Whatever project you’re planning... just don’t blow up half the archipelago."
Garion raised a brow. "No promises."
Aveline’s lips curved slightly. "Then at least warn us before you do."
Garion laughed. "Okay, okay. I’ll try not to destroy half the ocean without telling you first."
Raviel shook his head. "You say that like it’s a normal sentence."
Garion waved his hand. "Anyway. Moving isn’t the only thing I came to talk about."
Raviel’s eyes shifted to the five unfamiliar figures standing behind Garion.
"Is that why those five are here?" he asked.
Garion nodded. "You can say that."
Raviel looked at them again, measuring them quietly. "They don’t feel ordinary."
Silvar crossed his arms. "We’re not."
Cindor grinned. "Not even close."
Raviel narrowed his eyes slightly. "Good. Then let’s not stand around."
He turned and gestured forward. "Meeting room. Come."
They walked through the inner hall and entered the meeting chamber.
A long, heavy table stood in the center. Chairs lined both sides.
Raviel stopped at the head of the table and looked at Garion.
"Sit."
Garion didn’t argue.
He pulled the head chair back and sat down calmly.
Raviel and Aveline took seats to his left and right. Rendric and Arvella sat across from them.
The others stood quietly behind Garion.
Raviel leaned forward slightly. "Alright. Talk."
Garion rested his arms on the table.
"God Gym has become a Grand Faction."
Silence.
Aveline’s calm face changed first. Her eyes widened slightly.
Raviel blinked once. "...What?"
Rendric straightened in his seat. "Grand... Faction?"
Arvella’s fingers tightened on the table edge. "You mean the hidden level above top factions?"
Garion nodded. "Yeah. That one."
Raviel stared at him. "When did this happen?"
"Few days ago."
Raviel frowned. "Few days ago?"
Garion shrugged. "Someone from a Grand Faction came. Gave me a test. I passed. That’s it."
"That’s it?" Rendric repeated, almost choking on the words.
Garion leaned back. "Yeah. That’s it."
Aveline looked at him carefully. "You’re serious."
Garion nodded once. "Completely."
Raviel stood up abruptly, then sat back down again.
"Garion... do you even understand what that means?"
Garion smirked slightly. "Yeah. Secret elite club. World council access. Territory confirmed."
Rendric stared. "You already know about the council?"
Garion nodded. "Got briefed."
Arvella exchanged a look with Rendric. "So Demon Gate Island and the surrounding archipelago..."
"Mine," Garion said calmly. "Officially."
Raviel ran a hand through his hair. "What the hell..."
Aveline, however, slowly smiled.
"So that’s why you’re moving everyone."
Garion nodded. "Demon Gate Island is going to change."
Raviel exhaled slowly. "You leave for a month and come back as a Grand Faction leader."
Garion grinned. "Yeah."
Raviel looked at him for several seconds before shaking his head.
"You’re insane."
Garion’s smile widened.
"I know."
Raviel rubbed his forehead. "Still... how did they even approach you?"
He leaned forward. "From what I understand, to become a Grand Faction, you need a world-level achievement. Something that shakes the balance."
Rendric nodded. "Yes. Something that changes the world."
Raviel looked straight at Garion. "No offense, but I don’t remember God Gym doing something that big."
Garion only smiled.
Before he could answer, Eldrin stepped forward.
The green-haired woman placed a hand lightly on her chest.
"Allow me," she said gently. "I am Eldrin... formerly the Azure Dragon."
The room froze.
Raviel blinked. "The... what?"
Aveline’s calm face finally cracked. "Azure Dragon... as in one of the Legendary Beasts?"
Eldrin nodded slowly. "Yes. One of the four guardians of Demon Gate Island."
Silence fell over the room.
Rendric looked at Arvella. Arvella looked back at him.
"The Legendary Beasts... were real?" Rendric asked quietly.
"We were," Cindor said from behind, her arms crossed. "Very real."
Silvar snorted. "Strong too."
Bastor remained silent, standing straight.
Varyn watched everyone carefully without speaking.
Raviel slowly leaned back in his chair. "Wait. The old records... they weren’t myths?"
Eldrin shook her head. "No. We guarded the Demon Gate for decades."
Aveline spoke softly. "Then... if you are here... that means..."
Eldrin nodded once.
