Chapter 424: Watching Dragons With Wine

Inside the cavern, the air was already heavy with clashing domains.

Navrel did not wait.

The demonic dragon opened its massive jaws, and black fire gathered in its throat.

The flames twisted unnaturally, mixed with thick corruption.

"Die," Navrel said coldly.

He unleashed [Corruption Breath].

A massive stream of black dragon fire shot forward, melting stone and cracking the ground where it passed.

Dahlia smirked and didn’t retreat.

Instead, she bent her knees slightly and launched upward. Her body twisted mid-air as the corrupted flames passed beneath her.

"Too slow," she said calmly.

She flew straight toward Navrel, her body cutting through the demonic pressure.

Her claws glowed with bright sky energy. "[Sky Dragon Claw]."

She slashed downward, wind and lightning exploding from her fingertips.

Navrel’s eyes sharpened.

The dragon raised one massive claw and countered instantly. "[Shadow Claw Rend]."

Dark energy formed around its talons as the two attacks collided.

BOOM!

The impact sent a shockwave through the cavern walls. Stone shattered, and dust rained down.

Dahlia flipped backward in the air and landed lightly on a broken pillar.

She frowned slightly. "Damn."

Navrel’s lips curved upward. "You are stronger than I expected."

Dahlia rolled her shoulder once. "Don’t sound so surprised."

She vanished in a flash of lightning and reappeared directly in front of Navrel’s face.

Her fist crackled violently. "Let’s see if you can take this one, [Heavenly Thunder Fist]."

She drove her punch forward.

Navrel’s scales darkened instantly. "[Demon Scale Armor]."

The demonic energy hardened across his body as he raised his claws to block.

The thunder fist slammed into his defense, lightning exploding across the dragon’s chest.

The cavern shook again.

Navrel’s body slid back slightly from the force, but he did not fall. Instead, he smirked. "Impressive."

After saying that, his chest expanded, letting out a roar. "[Devouring Roar]!"

A heavy soundwave burst outward, mixed with demonic pressure that tried to crush Dahlia’s mana flow.

Dahlia grinned. "Do you think you’re the only one with that kind of skill?"

She inhaled sharply, her throat glowing faintly with lightning. "[Thunder Roar]!"

Her roar exploded outward, pure thunder clashing directly against the demonic sound wave.

The two roars collided mid-air, resulting in the shaking of the whole cavern.

The ceiling cracked completely, massive rocks collapsing downward.

Navrel’s eyes widened slightly.

Dahlia didn’t hesitate.

She shot upward through the collapsing stone, breaking through the ceiling into open air.

Navrel burst out right after her, tearing through the remaining rock with brute force.

The hidden island trembled as both of them rose into the sky.

Clouds above churned violently from the collision of storm and corruption.

Navrel stared at her in the open air. "To think a half-blood like you could reach this level."

Dahlia floated steadily in front of him, lightning dancing around her arms.

She smirked. "I told you."

Wind gathered around her body. "You picked the wrong dragon."

Above the island, thunder rumbled, and the real fight was about to begin.

---

The clash between Dahlia and Navrel didn’t stay hidden for long.

High above the sea, black and gold energy kept colliding.

Thunder roared again and again, and even from far away, the sky looked unstable.

On Muscle God Island, several disciples had already stopped training.

They all looked up.

"What... is that?"

"That pressure..."

Clara and Eliza stood near the edge of the island, both looking toward the distant sky where the fight was happening.

Clara crossed her arms, squinting slightly. "That’s definitely her."

Eliza nodded calmly. "Yes."

Another explosion echoed faintly across the sea.

Clara tilted her head. "So... who do you think will win?"

Eliza didn’t hesitate. "Senior Sister will win."

Her tone was simple but firm. "Just like Elder Rachel said."

Clara hummed. "That so, huh..."

She kept watching, her eyes following the flashes of lightning in the sky.

At that moment, someone landed behind them. "Huh? What is that?"

Clara turned and grinned. "Oh. Dion."

Dion stepped forward, hands in his pockets, looking up with a relaxed expression.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he observed the clash.

"That’s not normal training," he said.

Clara pointed toward the sky casually. "It’s just Senior Sister Dahlia fighting a demonic dragon."

Dion froze for a second. "...What?"

He looked at her again, his usual relaxed expression gone. "What the hell did you just say? How can a demonic dragon even be here?"

Clara leaned closer slightly and lowered her voice. "Actually, we found Draocian around the island, so we followed them."

She popped her hands out. "Turns out Draconia tried to use that sealed demonic dragon to attack God Gym, and Senior Sister told us to run."

Eliza added calmly. "Senior Sister stayed behind to handle it."

Dion exhaled slowly. "...Wow."

He looked back at the sky. "That’s... really something."

Another loud thunderclap echoed.

Clara nudged him. "So, who do you think will win?"

Dion looked at her like the answer was obvious. "Senior Sister, of course."

He smirked slightly. "Come on. Have you ever seen her go all out?"

Clara blinked. "...Actually, no."

Eliza shook her head slightly. "No."

Dion chuckled. "Then just watch."

Clara suddenly smiled wider. "Oh. Then this is perfect."

She clapped her hands once. "Come on, take out your wine."

Dion immediately stepped back. "Damn, you’re eyeing my wine?"

Clara gave him a shameless grin. "Oh, come on. This is a once-in-a-while show."

Dion sighed. "...Fine."

He pulled out a bottle from his storage ring. "But you bring snacks."

Clara pointed at herself. "Already prepared."

She took out a small bag and shook it.

Eliza glanced at both of them, then back at the sky. "...You two are unbelievable."

Clara laughed. "Relax. Senior Sister has it handled."

Dion uncorked the bottle and took a small sip before handing it over.

Clara smiled as she opened up some of her snack bag and put it beside the wine bottle.

All three of them stood there, casually watching the sky like watching a TV show while eating and drinking.

Far above, thunder roared again as two dragons clashed.
