Chapter 426: Solar Warden Joins The Raid

Sorien stood in front of the projection crystal, hands behind his back.

"Do we have any records of this demonic dragon?" he asked calmly.

The Light Stewards immediately began searching through the archive tablets. One of them activated an old historical record.

"Yes, Sun Warden. There is a sealed record from several generations ago."

The projection shifted. An old battle scene appeared in faint light.

"It states that the first Patriarch of the Draconia Clan defeated and sealed a powerful demonic dragon," the steward read carefully.

Sorien narrowed his eyes slightly. "Continue."

"The record says that victory was one of the reasons Draconia was recognized as a Grand Faction."

The room went quiet again.

Another steward added, "The dragon was not killed. Only sealed."

Sorien exhaled slowly. "So it was real."

He turned slightly, looking at the floating image. "To think they would use a demonic dragon now."

One steward hesitated. "Sun Warden... perhaps they lost control?"

Sorien’s voice remained calm. "Perhaps."

He paused for a moment. "But to release such a being over wounded pride..."

His gaze sharpened. "All because their former genius rose in another faction."

The Light Stewards lowered their heads slightly. Everyone knew he was referring to Dahlia.

Sorien shook his head once. "Draconia’s own corruption created this."

He walked slowly across the chamber. "Instead of correcting their internal rot, they choose shortcuts."

His tone remained polite but firm. "This is reckless."

One steward asked quietly, "What are your orders?"

Sorien stopped and faced them. "Prepare every document we have regarding anything we can use against Draconia."

The stewards straightened. "Yes, Sun Warden."

Sorien continued. "If Draconia’s actions threaten stability, we will not ignore it."

He looked toward the distant horizon, sensing faint tremors in the mana flow.

"Now is the best time to remove the corroded parts of the Grand Factions."

The stewards exchanged serious looks.

Sorien’s expression remained calm. "While you prepare the documents..."

He adjusted his sleeve slightly. "I will personally observe the situation."

One steward looked surprised.

"You are going yourself?"

Sorien nodded. "I want to see this demonic dragon with my own eyes."

He turned toward the exit. "And I want to see how the God Gym will deal with this."

His steps were steady as he left the chamber.

Behind him, the Light Stewards moved quickly, gathering records and preparing formal notices.

---

Sorien did not travel by ordinary means.

A bright solar formation opened beneath his feet, and in a flash of golden light, he stepped through space.

The transport array collapsed behind him silently.

When he arrived above the hidden island, the first thing he saw was the sky split into two colors. "...That level already?"

His eyes narrowed slightly as he focused on the battlefield.

It was not Garion, but instead it was Dahlia.

Dahlia was clashing head-on with the massive demonic dragon.

Lightning exploded from her fists. Wind currents spiraled around her body. The dragon’s corrupted flames met her storm attacks in mid-air.

Sorien was genuinely surprised. "To think she can fight that dragon evenly..."

Below them, Navrel roared and swung a massive claw. Dahlia twisted mid-air and countered with a lightning-coated kick, forcing the dragon back several meters.

Sorien raised his voice. "Dahlia! Do you need help?"

Dahlia froze for a split second when she heard it.

She glanced sideways while still blocking a burst of black flame. "Sir Sorien?!"

Her eyes widened slightly. "Why are you here?"

Sorien hovered calmly in the air, golden energy surrounding him lightly.

"Did your master not report that a demonic dragon was attacking God Gym?"

He looked slightly puzzled. "I thought assistance was required."

Dahlia’s expression shifted from surprise to confusion. "Master?"

She dodged another claw strike and punched Navrel in the jaw, forcing it back again.

"It’s been a year since I saw him! How the hell did he suddenly contact you?"

Sorien blinked once. "I do not know."

He adjusted his sleeve calmly. "But I do not think this is the best time to discuss communication methods."

Navrel’s massive head snapped toward Sorien. "How dare you speak as if I am not present!"

The dragon’s eyes burned with irritation. "I am still here!"

A wave of demonic energy spread outward again.

Dahlia steadied herself mid-air and nodded slightly. "Yeah. He’s right."

She wiped a bit of blood from the corner of her mouth and smirked. "Still... even though I’m strong..."

She rolled her shoulder once, her aura flaring brighter. "I didn’t think this one would be this strong."

Navrel’s wings expanded fully, blocking part of the sky. "You dare treat me lightly, little dragon."

Sorien observed quietly for a moment.

"You are holding well," he said calmly to Dahlia.

Dahlia glanced at him briefly while keeping her eyes mostly on Navrel. "Are you stepping in?"

Sorien nodded once. "If you wish."

Dahlia rolled her shoulder and let out a slow breath. "Okay then."

She wiped the corner of her mouth with her thumb and smirked slightly. "Let me transfer him to you, Sir Sorien."

She pointed her chin toward the dragon. "You’re from Solmira."

Her tone turned serious. "You’re better at demon extermination than me."

Sorien gave a small nod. "I see."

His golden aura strengthened slightly. "Then allow me."

Dahlia didn’t argue further.

She dashed forward one last time, launching a quick burst of lightning at Navrel’s face to grab its attention. "Hey, overgrown lizard. Look here."

Navrel roared and swung a claw at her.

She dodged at the last second, then shot upward and away. "Your new opponent is behind you."

Navrel turned its head sharply.

Sorien was already there.

He stepped forward calmly, hands relaxed at his sides.

Navrel narrowed its eyes. "You think you can beat me? A mere human?"

Sorien’s expression remained composed. "Let us find out."

Golden light gathered faintly around his palm. "Shall we, demonic dragon?"

Navrel’s lips curled. "I will make you regret stepping in."

Its wings beat once, sending a wave of dark energy outward.

Sorien did not move back.

His aura expanded in response, steady and bright.

Below them, Dahlia crossed her arms mid-air, watching carefully. "Don’t lose, Sir Sorien."

Sorien didn’t look back. "I do not intend to."

The storm shifted again.
