Chapter 429: Master Finally Came Back

Before the two of them could lift the dragon and leave, a familiar voice sounded behind them. "Hey. I don’t think you two need to go to my island."

There was a short pause. "I’m already here."

Dahlia froze. Sorien’s eyes shifted slightly. Both of them turned around at the same time.

Standing a short distance behind them, hands in his pockets, was Garion.

Garion stood there casually, as if he had simply walked over for a stroll.

Dahlia’s eyes widened. "Master?"

Before Sorien could say anything, Dahlia had already dashed forward.

She slammed into Garion and wrapped her arms around him. "Are you crazy?!"

Her voice was loud and frustrated. "It’s been a year! Why didn’t you call us or send anything?!"

Garion blinked once from the sudden hug, then gave a small smile. "I was a bit busy."

Dahlia slowly pulled back and then stared at him. "Busy?"

Her eyebrows twitched.

Garion nodded calmly. "Yeah. On God Island."

Dahlia’s expression froze. "...On what?"

Garion repeated casually, "God Island."

Dahlia’s eyes widened.

"First of all," she said, raising a finger, "why the hell did you need a whole year?"

She stepped closer to him. "How can a simple renovation take a year?"

Garion opened his mouth to respond, but Dahlia cut him off. "And second..."

She pointed toward the center island. "What do you mean by God Island?"

Garion smirked slightly. "It’s exactly what you heard."

He turned halfway and gestured lazily toward the horizon. "The old Demon Gate Island has a new name."

Dahlia stared at him.

"It’s now God Island," Garion continued calmly. "The true base of God Gym."

Dahlia looked at him like she was trying to decide whether to punch him or not. "You renamed it."

Garion nodded. "Yes."

She took a deep breath. "Do you know how crazy that sounds?"

Garion shrugged lightly. "It worked out."

Dahlia threw both hands up. "That’s not the point!"

She stepped closer again, her eyes flashing. "Do you have any idea how many things happened while you were gone?"

Garion tilted his head. "I monitored most of it."

Dahlia stopped mid-rant. "You what?"

Garion smiled faintly. "I wasn’t completely absent."

Dahlia squinted at him. "You let me fight a demonic dragon."

Garion nodded. "You handled it well."

"That’s not the issue!"

She jabbed a finger at his chest. "You couldn’t send one message? One?"

Garion looked down at her finger calmly. "I was focused."

Dahlia clenched her fists. "For a year?!"

Garion nodded again. "The thing I built required time."

Dahlia crossed her arms tightly. "What thing?"

Garion’s smirk widened slightly. "You’ll see."

Dahlia narrowed her eyes at him. "You’re doing this on purpose."

Garion just smiled. "Maybe."

Dahlia frowned hard. "Goddammit."

He ignored her reaction and turned toward Sorien instead.

"Thank you for handling the dragon," Garion said casually.

Sorien gave a small nod. "Do not worry. It is our duty to eliminate demonic beings."

Garion glanced at the fallen dragon for a moment, then back at Sorien. "So... what do you think about what Draconia has done?"

His tone was relaxed, but his eyes were sharp. "You heard what it said, right?"

Sorien nodded slowly. "Yes. It admitted Draconia released it."

His expression remained calm, but there was weight behind his words. "It seems I must visit Draconia once more."

Garion’s lips curved upward. "Good."

He cracked his knuckles lightly. "Can I join you?"

Sorien raised an eyebrow slightly. "You?"

Garion shrugged. "I want to see the bastard who dared to attack my faction."

There was no smile now.

Sorien considered him for a moment, then nodded. "Very well."

Before they could say anything more... "I’m coming too."

Both of them looked at Dahlia.

Garion blinked. "You?"

Dahlia crossed her arms. "Yes. Me."

Garion tilted his head. "This might turn political."

Dahlia stepped closer. "Don’t worry, Master."

Her voice was steady now. "I also want to see my father’s face."

She looked toward the horizon where Draconia territory lay far away. "After letting me down."

Her jaw tightened slightly. "I want to see how furious he looks when he realizes I’m standing on the other side."

Garion studied her expression. "You sure?"

Dahlia met his eyes directly. "I’m not running anymore."

She let out a small breath. "And honestly?"

A faint smirk appeared. "It will be interesting."

Sorien watched the exchange quietly.

Garion then laughed softly. "Alright."

He looked between the two of them. "Let’s pay Draconia a visit."

Sorien gave a short nod. He lifted one hand and a golden formation began to form beneath their feet.

Lines of light spread outward in precise patterns, intersecting perfectly.

Garion looked down at it with interest. "Is this a transportation array?"

Sorien answered calmly. "Of course."

The formation grew brighter. Symbols rotated slowly along the edge.

"I do not intend to waste time traveling by air," Sorien continued. "We will go directly."

He glanced at both of them. "And please keep your guard up."

There was a brief pause. "And try not to vomit."

Garion blinked once. "...Excuse me?"

Sorien’s expression remained neutral. "A lot of newcomers experience dizziness during long-range transport."

He added casually, "Some vomit."

Dahlia’s eyebrows twitched. "You’re joking."

Sorien did not smile.

Garion smirked. "Don’t worry."

He crossed his arms confidently. "We’re body cultivators."

He tapped his chest lightly. "We won’t be vomiting."

Dahlia straightened up. "Yeah. We’ve been thrown into crazy training chambers. This is nothing."

Sorien nodded once. "Very well."

The formation began to hum louder. Golden light rose around them in a cylindrical barrier. "Stand still."

For a moment, space stretched unnaturally. The sky disappeared. The air felt pulled sideways.

Garion remained steady, posture relaxed.

Dahlia clenched her jaw but refused to close her eyes.

The next second...

They appeared above the massive gates of the Draconia Clan.

The golden formation faded.

Garion landed lightly on his feet. "...Smooth."

He rolled his shoulders.

Dahlia landed next to him. She looked a little pale.

Garion glanced at her. "You good?"

Dahlia took a slow breath. "I’m fine."

She swallowed once, trying to stabilize her balance. "...It’s just... spinning."

Garion smirked. "Thought you said this was nothing?"

Dahlia shot him a glare. "Shut up."

Sorien landed gracefully in front of them as if nothing had happened.

He looked at Dahlia briefly. "You handled it well."

Garion looked around at the towering walls of Draconia. "Nice entrance."

Sorien folded his hands behind his back. "Ready?"

Dahlia straightened her posture, the paleness fading quickly.

Her eyes hardened. "Yeah."

Garion cracked his neck once. "Let’s see how they explain this."
