Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 462: We Celebrated Too Early
Mailen saw the last moment of the tiger man and was stupefied by what he saw.
He blinked for a second and then laughed hard. "To think that he was this stupid to receive the full attack of the dragon."
All other Drakenfel warriors who lay down thanks to their empty mana also laughed out loud.
"Haha, right, sir. That tiger man was too stupid. Just how dare he underestimate us!"
For a moment there was only silence, but suddenly in the next moment...
ROOAAARRRR!
Their laughter stopped instantly as all of their heads snapped toward the crater.
Mailen’s and the others’ eyes widened as they saw what was happening. "Don’t tell me..."
From the crater, a figure slowly stood up, and just as they feared, it was indeed the tiger man.
Although his body was seriously injured, he was indeed still alive, and he wasn’t even roaring in pain.
Instead he looked at all of them and smiled; that directly sent shivers through their skins.
Mailen’s expression hardened instantly. He couldn’t think of a reason for how the tiger man could still be alive.
But seeing that the tiger man was seriously injured, he couldn’t wait anymore.
He turned back to his men and raised his weapon. "He’s injured. If we don’t finish him now, we will be the one who paid the price!"
The warriors reacted immediately, as what Mailen said was the truth. All of them, although they didn’t have mana, still could raise their weapons.
All of them quickly rushed toward the creepy smiling tiger man, wanting to end this once and for all.
But to their surprise, the tiger man only smirked and said a few words. "Too late!"
They didn’t know what he meant, but the next moment they knew as the tiger man opened his mouth and let out a fierce roar.
BOOM!
A wave of dark energy exploded the moment he roared, sweeping across the battlefield.
All of the warriors who heard that roared instantly paused midstep, not knowing why they stopped.
Panic quickly spread amongst them. Mailen tried to calm them down, but even he was in a panic.
He didn’t know why he couldn’t move at all. His legs wouldn’t respond to him. "What the hell is happening?"
The tiger man chuckled as he slowly walked toward them and looked at them one by one. "Did you really think that it was enough to kill me?"
He laughed hard. "How stupid you all are! I’m a demon. I won’t die that easily."
He tapped his chest lightly. "And this roar of mine is not an ordinary one but my skill, the [Demonic Roar]."
He pointed his finger at him. "And this one locked your bodies with my demonic mana. Good, isn’t it?"
Mailen gritted his teeth, trying to move, but whatever he did, he couldn’t. "Damn it..."
The tiger man then laughed again as he continued to mock them. "And do you know... why your men suddenly became so tired?"
Mailen frowned as he began to realize it. "Don’t tell me..."
The tiger man chuckled. "You’re right. I have been eating your manna."
He flexed his claws right in front of Mailen’s face. "My skill, [Devouring Claws], lets me absorb anything that I attack."
He turned to the warriors and then back at him. "So it’s not me that strong made your warriors weak but my skill as I eat their mana from that dragon."
He continued again as he showed him his wounds that began to close. "And you know what... that last dragon attack... I also ate some, so I began to heal."
He looked back at them one by one before smirking. "This fight... from the very start... was already decided."
The Drakenfel warrior stood frozen, being helpless after hearing the truth.
Mailen’s body shook not from fear but from anger. He looked straight at the tiger man.
He forced his words out through his clenched teeth. "You Chimera bastard... Even if I die here... my clan will hunt you down."
The tiger man listened to him and chuckled. "Sure... I’ll be waiting for that to happen."
He put his claws on Mailen’s head and smirked. "So now... be good and become my food."

On another side, Garion and his disciple easily defeated the opponents.
The demonic guards had all run away. They’re just afraid of God Gym as wth low numbers they were so strong.
Not even their weapons can even hurt them. Only some of them managed to hurt them, but the moment they were hurt...
The elder woman, Rachel, directly led them. Who in their right mind wanted to continue the pointless war like this?
Because of that, they directly ran away, even some of them leaving their beasts, not caring about them anymore.
Valtor blinked, confused. "They’re running? Are we that scary? We aren’t even serious yet."
Rynar laughed loudly, hearing him. "Hahaha! Of course you’re scary!"
He pointed at him, knocking his body. "You stood there and tanked their attacks like they were nothing. What did you expect?"
Rynor nodded, agreeing with him. "Yeah. If I were them, I’d run too."
He then glanced toward the empty battlefield. "But still, I didn’t expect them to break way too fast."
Valtor tilted his head, thinking seriously. "So... should I act like I’m in pain so they don’t run away anymore?"
The group went quiet for a second.
Clara quickly walked to him and covered her mouth, trying not to laugh. "Oh? That’s a good idea?"
She stepped closer, grinning. "You can act like that and let them attack you more, but..."
She looked at him up and down. "I doubt you can fool them with that body of yours."
Valtor frowned. "What’s that supposed to mean, Clara?"
Seira sighed and looked at him coldly. "What she meant is that you’re too straightforward, not to mention your body."
She pointed at his body. "Even if you act painful, if your body wasn’t injured, how can they believe you, you stupid barbarian?"
Valtor looked at them and frowned. "Forget it then. I’ll just hit them harder."
Garion only chuckled upon seeing their talk. Even in war, they could still talk leisurely like this.
