His Naughty Lessons-Chapter 208: Relieved, or … WTF?
Chapter 208: Relieved, or ... WTF? fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
** Harper **
Waiting for Sunday evening was the hard part ... Especially once the three of them got back into the car after a late lunch, setting off on the return trip to the city.
Harper scooted into her usual seat, finding it extremely difficult not to make sheep’s eyes at Eli through the backview mirror. If there were any new and relieving discoveries they had made on this weekend outing, it was the fact that Tyler remained blissfully ignorant of any potential "inappropriateness" between them, and the realization made her want to snatch every opportunity to steal more looks or touches from her secret boyfriend whenever she could. But remembering Eli’s warning to not mislead her brother with any dubious hints before they could have a real "men’s chat", she heeded the suggestion and kept her eyes to herself, deciding on a less suspicious topic to think about instead.
"So, this interview of yours," she said to Tyler as the car pulled off the dirt trails and slowly emerged onto paved roads. "Did you like the company? When will you hear back from them about the results?"
"In a week or so." Her brother stretched out his legs and looked back one last time at the campground they had all loved since they were kids. "I like both the position and the office environment. We’ll have to see about the paycheck they decide on if they do end up making an offer, of course ... But for now, looks like it’s entirely possible that I’ll follow you two’s footsteps in taking a new job in Davenshire. Then we’ll be able to come camping together as often as we want."
More three-person camping trips ... Well, Harper wasn’t sure if she and Eli felt exactly enthusiastic about repeating this weekend again and again in the future. But provided that Tyler could take the relationship news well and accept his third wheel position calmly enough, perhaps their future vacations would involve fewer hidden meetings under the moon and more PDA, without relying on web novel tropes.
That would certainly make things a lot more worth looking forward to.
"You’re welcome to come visit anytime, you know." She flashed her brother a warm smile upon that thought. "Whenever you want a break from work, we are just a short flight away. And you can stay with me in my new apartment next time too if you want, my current place is a lot bigger than the previous one. Or maybe—"
Or maybe by the time you come back again, I’ll already be all moved in to Eli’s place, so you can have my empty apartment completely to yourself ... Though Harper remembered herself just in time to swallow that comment back.
"Or maybe if I’m coming for another interview, I’ll find a company with a better travel budget that gives me a free hotel?" Tyler chuckled, helpfully completing the sentence for her. Then his eyes flickered as if suddenly remembering something important. "Oh, right, speaking of the flight. Good thing you reminded me — can I borrow your laptop real quick? I was having trouble checking in on my phone, and I hate waiting to do it at the airport."
"Oh, yeah sure." Harper reached into the hatch and pulled her laptop out of her backpack. "The perk of traveling with spoiled city people, huh?" She winked and handed over the heavy metal brick.
Tyler rolled his eyes as he set the computer in his lap, flipping open the lid.

** Tyler **
Who would’ve thought to bring a laptop on a camping trip, except these two city kids who couldn’t live a minute without their high tech toys?
Although, to be honest, that was probably one of the reasons why they still got along so well after all these years. The two definitely had a lot in common, after all.
Eye-rolling as it might make him feel, Tyler was glad to witness yet another proof of his sister and his old friend being truly comfortable in each other’s presence. Ever since he learned about their trip to Hawaii, the worry of his sister having to face undesirable company at work had always been tugging at the edge of his mind, and it was a pleasant surprise that this weekend proved him wrong. Whatever grudges that might’ve made the two drift apart four years ago, it appeared that they were both over it now, and Eli seemed nothing but nice to Harper as far as anyone could tell.
This renewed friendship between them was assuring, giving Tyler just the peace of mind he needed to head back to his own home with.
He opened up the computer browser with that relieved thought, clicked on the email tab, and started scrolling to look for his flight check-in reminder.
Oh, but wait, he had forgotten that this was Harper’s laptop, not his. The browser automatically logged in to her email account instead, flooding him with a busy inbox full of unfamiliar messages. The top one, in extended preview mode, jumped right into his eyes before he had the time to scroll back up and close the tab:

He licked his lips hungrily, inhaling the heady scent of her arousal filling every corner of the space around them. His finger grazed her slippery entrance, and the sultry moan escaping her throat was so erotic that he almost couldn’t help reaching into his own pants, stroking himself for that desperate relief he needed from such a deadly temptation.
"Good girl, you are so ready for me," he whispered against her thigh, making her whimper again and writhe under his relentless tease. "Now, say the words. Tell me you want me. Tell me how badly you need me inside you and drive you senseless."

Tyler’s hand froze over the mousepad. The cursor kept blinking over the browser’s "close" button, yet the finger controlling it was too petrified to press down.
What, the, absolute, fuck??!
