Chapter 119: Wound

"Och...it hurts..." Gina groaned in pain as she felt a stabbing pain in her forehead, it seemed that the effect of the anesthetic injected by Doctor Joseph had worn off by now.

With her eyes still closed Gina touched her bandaged forehead, the pain and discomfort made her reluctant to open her eyes. The pain in her forehead made Gina remember how she got the wound.

"Vanessa, I think I’m starting to know your real face," Gina said softly as she remembered how Vanessa was angry with her a moment ago when she called Diego a parasite.

Remembering that Vanessa had made Gina finally fight the biting pain in her forehead to open her eyes, she wanted to make sure she was where she was right now. Gina took a deep breath when she realized where she was.

Curious about the appearance of the wound on her forehead, Gina forced herself out of bed and walked to her dressing table which was near the bathroom door. As soon as she saw the white bandage attached to her forehead, Gina smiled, she was sure that the wound on her forehead was very sharp. Moreover, coupled with the dried blood marks on his clothes and neck.

"It’s ok, I’m fine. This is a fast progress for me, at least with this wound I know who Vanessa really is. The kind attitude and attention she has given me is just pretending, she just wants to look good in front of Daddy. Tsk, ok... I will follow your game, Vanessa. You can laugh at this time because it made me hurt, but in the future I will make sure there are no more wounds that you can make on my body. "Gina spoke in her heart while touching the pendant given by her grandmother who was also exposed to her blood. Gina was sure that a lot of blood had come out considering how dirty she was with blood.

Gina’s daydream in front of her dressing table was broken after someone entered her room, the maid was even surprised when she saw Gina was sitting in front of the dressing table. Even though about ten minutes ago when she entered the room to throw away the tissue full of blood, the lady was still fast asleep.

"Why are you awake, Miss? You’re still hurt," said the maid frantically.

Gina smiled. "I’m fine, it’s just a small wound."

"What a small wound, Miss. Obviously the doctor said you got a lot of stitches to cover the bleeding that occurred on your forehead," said the waiter in a trembling voice.

Gina raised an eyebrow. "Getting stitches?"

"Yeah, can’t you really feel it?"

"Feeling what, huh? I don’t feel anything strange," Gina answered innocently.

The middle-aged waitress sighed and went straight to where Gina was sitting, slowly the woman gently touched Gina’s forehead.

"Can’t you feel the stiffness around your wound, miss?" he asked quietly.

Gina narrowed her eyes. "Oh yeah, I just realized! Really if you didn’t tell me I had stitches I wouldn’t have known."

"Oh my God, Miss. Just now I almost cried when I saw the many bloodied tissues in the trash, how can you joke like this."

Gina chuckled. "I’m not kidding, I really don’t know. Uh wait, have we met before?"

The maid looked at Gina timidly, she slowly shook her head. "Apparently not Miss, I don’t think I’ve seen you before."

Gina narrowed her eyes trying to remember where she had met the middle-aged woman who was standing in front of her, after thinking for a long time finally a smile spread across Gina’s face.

"About five months ago we met in front of the gate as we were walking on the sidewalk. I accidentally bumped into you and..."

"Jesus... I remember. You are a kind girl who at that time called me by my nickname. Madame, isn’t it?"

Gina smiled. "So that woman is really you."

"Please Miss, don’t talk to me like that. You don’t deserve to talk to me like that, I’m just a maid."

"Ok, so what’s your name?"

"You can call me Teresa, Miss."

"Madam Teresa?"

"Miss..."

Gina chuckled at her maid’s expression when she teased her by mentioning Madam Teresa’s name, but Gina’s laughter didn’t last long because she suddenly winced in pain. Teresa also swiftly approached Gina, making sure the wound on Gina’s forehead was okay. Fearing that the wound on the lady’s forehead would open, Teresa then forced Gina to lie back down on her bed. Although Gina initially refused but in the end she couldn’t fight back, it seems that fighting a mother is impossible for a child like Gina to win.

"I want to take a shower, I’m not comfortable with this dried blood, Teresa," Gina said quietly as Teresa helped her sit comfortably on the bed.

"But earlier the doctor ordered to keep your wound dry for the next three or four days, Miss."

Gina’s eyes widened. "Ishh...I don’t want to, I have to take a shower!! It’s impossible if I haven’t showered for that long."

Teresa smiled. "Who said you can’t take a bath, Miss?"

"Then what does that mean?" Gina asked, confused.

The middle-aged woman smiled. "I just said that your wound shouldn’t be exposed to water, not that it shouldn’t allow you to take a shower."

"Oh yeah.... stupid me," said Gina quietly cursing her stupidity, it’s impossible not if she became stupid in a short time because of the wound on her forehead? If so, then Gina will immediately make calculations on Vanessa.

Teresa smiled again. "I can help you take a shower, if you don’t mind, Miss."

"Eh?"

"Yes, I will help you take a bath so that the wound on your forehead doesn’t get wet." Teresa spoke again to clarify her words.

Gina immediately crossed her arms across her chest. "No, I can take a bath myself. I’m not a child who needs someone else’s help to take a bath."

Teresa smiled, seeing Gina’s very innocent attitude made her believe that the lady was a good girl. It was very different from the other two ladies in this house who were very arrogant and wild, unlike Gina who seemed to be very careful about what she said. Gina really takes care of her interlocutor’s feelings despite being a maid. Sandra really managed to educate Gina well, sob.

After being seduced, Gina finally melted, using a piece of cloth that was used as the last cover on her body, Gina sat on the edge of the bathtub letting Teresa bathe her. Teresa carefully washed Gina’s body, the woman grimaced as she cleaned Gina’s neck and chest which had dried blood residue, seeing that much blood left Teresa sure that the wound on the lady’s forehead that she was bathing must be deep.

"I will wash your face, please don’t move so i don’t touch your wound, Miss," Teresa said quietly asking Gina’s permission when she was about to clean her face.

Gina nodded her head slowly. "Okay, I won’t move."

Teresa began to clean Gina’s face very carefully, the woman felt sorry for Gina who had to get such an injury. Gina’s milky complexion contrasted with the color of the bruises around the stitched wound.

As she closed her eyes enjoying the maid’s gentle touch on her face, Gina smiled. "I think I have a good friend in this house."

del Cano’s base.

Massimo who had just returned from the police station was sitting on his oversized sofa, his intention to sleep after arriving home was lost when his mood was spoiled by Selena Sanders. That girl was really very wild.

Martin, who had just received a report from one of his subordinates who was assigned to the Sanders family’s house, seemed hesitant to report the bad news he had heard, especially now that the master’s mood was not good after all that had happened. But on the other hand he also felt afraid if he did not report the important news.

"Sir..."

"Don’t bother me, Martin. I’m not in the mood to hear anything, you take care of yourself." Massimo immediately cut off Martin’s words quickly.
